Gem did not hesitate to unload her gun into Kings torso. She knew what was coming; that kind of shot would not kill him instantly and he had a gun trained on her at point blank rang, she cringed and closed her eyes readying for what ever was to come. She was not interested in the ramblings of a crazy man, just the real pain that was sure to come.

King blinked everytime a bullet entered his body. He got a shot off that his Gem's leg but fell back, dead after he got that round off.
Kev sighed and looked up to see the bullet enter Gem's thigh, "Crap!" he shouted and slid to the floor, breathing deeply.

Gem dropped to the floor swearing loudly and simultaneously striping down to her undershirt. She tore her shirt into two long strips and wrapped her thigh tightly over the bullet wound. Her vision dimmed and faded in and out but she stayed upright for the most part.
"......God damn old man!" She spat and breathed hard. She hated getting injured, and this would make driving back all the more unpleasant. She looked over at Ex from her spot on the floor. "You going to be ok?" she asked a twinge of guilt in her hurt voice.

Kev nodded through gritted teeth. He kept as much pressure on the wound as possible as he moved over to Gem, "Are you okay? Joker will have my a** for this... ugh right through the thigh. Dammit! He's going to kill me." he muttered.

Gem shrugged and gave a small forced smile. "Don't worry about it, I can-ugh- take him." She winked and coughed. She was trying to muster up the strength to get up and walk to the car. "Can you stand?" She asked and scoched over to the wall about a foot behind her. She would be able to use it to stand up and lean on it until she got to the parking lot. She sighed deeply once then moved to stand, gritting her teeth and swearing loudly.

Gem nodded and used his hand to hoist herself up and balance mostly on her good leg. “I’ll be fine.” She said gritting her teeth as she limped forward. She kept up a cool face and tried to keep her breathing even to keep from panicking or fainting. She made her way out to the car and got in sitting in the driver’s seat. It was her left leg that had been injured so she would be able to drive.

Kev got in the car and didn't buckle the seat belt to avoid any unnessacary pain to his shoulder. He hissed as he laid against the seat, "Screw the laws there's no license plate on this. Get us home." he growled, clutching his arm as screams carried from the hotel and the building next to it when the blood and bullet holes were discovered.

Gem nodded and drove off arriving at the Mill within record time. "All right, let's Move out." She said and got out of the car. she moved carefully though the building to the chemical baths were she ignored what looks Joker might have thrown at her and striped down to only a bra before immersing her bottom half in the warm chemicals. "Got him." She said triumphantly and looked over at him a tired look on her face.

Joker smiled, "Good job. Where's Kev... what the hell happened to you?!" he shouted as his brother walked in the room holding his arm.
Kev took off his shirt with his good arm and his pants. He jumped in the bath and surfaced. Kev looked at his brother, "He shot me as a distraction and tried to run. Gem caught him and unloaded her clip into his chest. He shot her once before he died. That's the truth." he explained, pulling himself to the edge of the bath with his good arm.
Joker's mouth fell open, "He shot you?! King shot you of all people?! He treated you like a son..." he trailed off and looked at Gem, "Are you two okay?" he asked through gritted teeth.
Kev nodded, "I'll be fine." he said with a one-armed shrug.
Steven, wearing his favorite tiara, jumped into the room where the assassins had left King's body. He checked for vitals and stood up crossing his arms, "Oh pooh! Now I have to kill the little boy and the girl! Oh well" he shrugged, "Maybe I'll meet some cute guys while I'm killing them!" he grinned and jumped out the window to his powder blue Jaguar. Steven got inside and drove away with a smirk on his face.

Gem nodded and gave a soft smile. "I'll be Okay." she said and forced a laugh. She was one of few who almost never got hurt on the job so she was not entirely comfortable wasting time healing. "He was totally crazy by the time we caught up with him, I think he would have shot anything that moved towards the end there, don’t take it personally.” She leaned over the edge of her tub as well and winked, “Lucky I was there or he might have short your diver too.”

Kev shrugged, "You know, it's unlikely that King was acting alone... Nevermind, just a random thought. Doesn't mean anything." he said, though he couldn't get rid of the strange feeling that something was coming while they were injured.
Joker chuckled, "Yeah. I suppose we are lucky, the threat to the Fraternity is gone. Fate can resume its planned course..." he trailed off and smiled thoughtlessly.
Steven pulled up in the parking lot of the mill. He pulled out his Desert Eagles and adjusted his tiara with a smirk. Steven got out and aimed the gun in his right hand at the man guarding the door, "Shame, so cute." he murmered before pulling the trigger. Steven walked inside with a large smile on his face, "Honey, I'm home!" he giggled and unloaded his guns into the men and women around him.
Kev pulled the revolver out of his pocket with his good arm and aimed at the door. He sank into the water a little but stayed where he was, "We're under attack." he said coldly.

"Damn it." Gem whispered and reached for her gun. It lay next to the tub with her clothes. She reloaded it and pointed straight at the door as well, but did not move down to cover herself at all, "I Love you guys." She said quietly and closed one eyes to aim more precisely.
