Tanis flew out of the woods, to find a large, dark cloud in a clearing
This is probably the demon's place, lets see if shadow's there
Flying full speed, Tanis went straight for the cloud, going into it.
He felt himself change from dragon to human to dragon over and over again, each time the transformation feeling more and more painful. Suddenly his forehead started to burn and he flew, now human again, into a room with Shadow, Kaminari, Vladmir, and a couple of other people whom he didn't recognize

Kaminari shook her head at Vlad's question and smirked; "The cloud was supposed to keep Shade out. I didn't think the Dragon would try his luck, but I guess I'm all out of missions." She snickered, "So, what should the punishment be?" she said to herself, standing, her demon form coming to her again, only this time she seemed more ghsot like.

Rebecca sighed, and disappeared appearing in a tree that was right next to Shade. Her form was a shadow, looking dangerously like an assassian. She smirked and switched to one of the many Languages her mother forced her to learn, "King of the Darkness. Que cherchez-vous pour? Becka est curieux, Becka est très curieux."

Daron stepped from the room and closed the door behind him. He shook his head and Kaminari glared at Tanis, but smiled. Daron smirked and the cloud outside the house seemed to go invisible. "Thank you...mother." he said, his breath seemed to be hallow.

Fille hissed, but Shade smiled.
"Vous parlez du français. Comment beau." Shade bowed then appeared next to the girl. Before she could react, his hand gripped her face, squeezing her cheeks together.
"Mais si vous pensez que je pense que vous êtes une ombre, alors vous avez pensé mal. Vous êtes un enfant de démon." Shade smiled. "Nice try, though. Very convincing. Too bad I'm the Shadow King." Shade laughed. "And what's this 'King of the Darkness crap? Darkess and shadow is much different, my dear." He released her face, but grabbed her wrist.
"Master..." Fille said, still glaring at the demon girl
"Silence, Fille," Shade snapped. "Now then, my pretty," Shade whispered, turning back to the demon. "Becky...that is what you called yourself. Becky...what am I to do with you?"
"Kill her. She cannot be trusted..." Fille hissed.
"I said silence, Fille!" Shade snapped his fingers and Fille slammed against the ground, as if Shade had slammed into her.
"My Lord..." Fille sighed in defeat.
"Becky. I can only assume that you are the child of the demon that is holding Shadow captive. And not just any Shadow. My Shadow." Shade ran his fingers through Becky's hair and smelled her.
"For a demon child you smell good..." he said, distracted. Then, realizing his mistake, he shook his head and focused his mind. "Terribly sorry. Anyway, you have my Shadow. I was just wondering...if maybe I could have her back before a certain shadow gets to her...she goes by the name of Schwarz."
"My Lord!"
"Fille!" Shade yelled. "SILENCE!"
"My Lord, look!" Fille pointed to a tree across the property. Two figures hid in its branches.
"Ah...well, what do you know? Not only did she stay, but she brought that Morte as well. Idiot move, Shadow..." Shade smiled and released Becky. "The female shadow is the shadow called Schwarz. She contains the mind of the Queen and Mother of Shadows. If your demon mother wishes to form a peaceful bond between the shadows and herself, then I suggest that she do everything in her power to keep that shadow from coming within five feet of my Shadow." Shade hissed as he saw Schwarz and Morte notice him looking at them.
"Hurry!" he urged, pushing on Becky. "Hurry back to your mother, little demon child! If she agrees to my proposal, then she will be welcome in my realm any time!" Then, as an afterthought, "You as well, my dear."
"My Lord...you flirt," Fille sighed. "Shall I go to them?"
Shade pondered the question for a moment. "No. Stay here for the moment, Fille. Let's see what they do..."

"AWW HELL!!!!!" Shadow screamed. Schwarz was so shocked by the scream that she fell out of the tree. Morte hurried to the ground to catch her.
"What happened?" Morte said, very alarmed.
"Shadow screamed..." Schwarz smiled and rubbed her temples. "I'll be okay."
"We have to get her out of you."
"No s**t, Sherlock!" Shadow hissed using Schwarz's voice.
"What...what we have to do," Schwarz said, taking control of her voice. "Is get to Shadow before Shade does."
"No s**t..."
"Shadow, I don't need your commentary."
"Then you shouldn't have put me in your mind."
"Look, this is really weird, hearing you two have a conversation. Especially when I can't hear what Shadow is saying."
"Would you prefer I did this?" Shadow said. She made Schwarz smile like she did, and Morte cringed.
"Please, no. I am already afraid of you both. I do not need the image of you both combined."
"Terrifying~" Shadow sang.
"Quite," Schwarz said, creeping closer to Morte. "But, more importantly, we need to get in there."
"More importantly, you need to shut up and process what we just saw."
"Well, what did we see?"
"See? What?"
"Morte, shut up."
"Both of you shut up!" Shadow growled. "Think about Shade in the tree, dummy."
"What did she say?"
"She said to think about Shade in the tree." Morte and Schwarz pondered the scene for a minute. They said nothing and made no progress.
"Idiots!" Shadow screeched.
"Ow!" Schwarz and Morte said in unison. Shadow muscled her way back to Schwarz's voice.
"Who was he talking to?"
"Umm...a shadow?" Morte said sheepishly.
"Fail!" Shadow spat. "He was talking to Kaminari's daughter."
"Who's Kaminari?" Morte said for both himself and Schwarz.
"The demon!"
"Oh!" Morte gasped. "Oh no!"
"Exactly." Shadow went back to Schwarz's mind and let them talk. She listened. She thought. Then she had a realization.
"He's trying to keep us apart."
"What?" Schwarz said, inturrupting Morte.
"What?"
"Shush. She's talking."
"That would be the most logical plan. And in this world, Shade is not only smart, but he's cunning. He's like me..."
"What'd she say?"
"She said that he's trying to...keep us apart?"
"Us, Schwarz! Me and me!"
"Oh my God!" Schwarz exclaimed.
"What is it?"
"He's trying to keep Shadow away from Shadow!"
"Wait, what?" Then Morte's face lit up with understanding. "Oh no!"
"We can't let him!"
"We have to get in there!"
"Or keep him away from her," Schwarz suggested.
"Impossible," Shadow growled.
"Why?" Morte asked for them both.
"Because," Shadow replied. "If I had never come to the real world then I'd still be crazy in love with him!"
"Awh crap!"

"Excitement!" Shadow giggled. She bounced up to Attimasc. "Good luck~" She smiled and, surprising everyone, kissed Attimasc. Not on the cheek, but full on the lips. "Hope that helps~ You'll probably need all the luck you can get." Shadow smiled and patted him on the back. "But do hurry. Shadow is tired of being cooped up in here."

Tanis was thrown by Attimasc back into the barrier, this time the experience being much the same, except that when he came out he was a dragon, not human.

He looked over to see a couple of shadows near Kaminari's house (schwartz and morte), so Tanis went into the forest and changed back to human.
walking over to the shadows, he said, "How am I supposed to get in there to shadow if I'm thrown back out before I get back on my feet?"

Shadow watched Attimasc go, then she turned to glare at Daron.
"What the hell?" she snapped. "Why am I in a cage??? This is no fun~" Shadow stuck her lower lip out then plopped down, crossing her legs and looking much like a pre-schooler in time out.

"Ha ha...looks like dragon boy got thrown out," Morte laughed.
"Shut up and be nice," Schwarz said, smacking Morte upside the head. He grunted and fell out of the tree, landing on his feet next to the dragon boy, who was now a boy.
"Well,boy, you managed to get in. Who threw you out and why?"
"His name is Tanis," Shadow told Schwarz.
"Shadow says the boy's name is Tanis."
"So?"
"So be nice and call him by name!" Schwarz snapped, jumping out of the tree and kicking Morte in the neck.
"Ow...that hurt..."
"That was from both of us," Shadow said, once again possessing Schwarz's voice. "Now then. Tanis, it's me, Shadow. Tell me everything that happened. I think I might have a plan..."

Shade shivered slightly but put on his best gentleman's smile. He turned to face Becka.
"I'd have to say the boring job for now, my dear." Shade sighed. "For, you see, I am not sure that I want them killed. Though I do think it would be interesting to see you face off with Morte. Maybe I'll let you try and kill him, simply for sport. It is actually very hard to kill a shadow. Put a brain in one and we're almost invincible. But I said almost, so there, of course, is a way. I'd like to see if you could figure it out." Shade smiled and looked at Becka through half closed eyes. Then the smile melted into a scowl as Fille scratched at the base of the tree.
"Master..."
"Same goes for you, Fille. No killing." Fille whined and Shade threw something at her. She crashed to the ground, still whimpering.
"It is obvious," Shade began. "That Shadow has noticed me. She also knows that I have noticed her. Now it is a contest. Between us. Mind versus mind. King versus Queen. I am quite interested to see who wins..."
"Master!" Fille screeched, pointing to the base of the tree where Morte and Schwarz had hid.
"What is it now?" Shade hissed, more annoyed than mad.
"The dragon boy..."
"Dragon boy?" Shade whipped around, almost knocking Becka out of the tree. "Where?" He searched the ground, then let out a small roar. "She's got me!" He jumped out of the tree and landed next to Fille. "If she's thinking what I know she's thinking then...demon child!" he yelled, glancing up to Becka. "I have no influence upon the dragon boy! I am mere shadow. But you, my dear, can touch him." Shade pointed at the boy. "Now is the time for the fun, my dear! Kill the dragon boy! At least get him away from Shadow! Quickly!"

Vlad his his surprise as Shadow was imprisoned.
'Oh no...' he thought. 'What is going on?' He recalled how the demon girl had flown in and told Kaminari something in some strange language. A demon language?...
"Lilia..." Vlad hissed quietly. She immediately rushed to his side.
"Yes, my love?" she replied, also being very quiet.
"Did you understand what that demon girl said to the demon mother?"
"What Becka said to mother? Hmm...a little. I do not speak the language very well."
"What did you understand?"
"Hmm..." Lilia sat down next to Vlad. He ran his fingers through her soft hair, then kissed her head. She giggled and blushed, then a lightbulb lit in her mind.
"King...bargain...hostage...Shadow..." Lilia rubbed her temples. "I cannot remember...I did not understand."
"That's enough," Vlad whispered. "I understand." Lilia smiled and went back to eating whatever was in that bowl. But Vlad now understood.
'I cannot be sure, but I can guess. That Shade that Shadow is always talking about, he is out there. That is where that girl has been going. Talking to Shade. Bargain...he's trying to get this Shadow back to him before the two can be reunited. Oh my God...this is not good...I have to do something...'
He turned to Daron.
"Why the cage? Shadow has done what the demon wanted. Now why is she being held here?"

Shadow stared at Kaminari, her smile fading. Her eyes lost thier glow.
"Queen...yes...no...what?...wait...yes...Mother..." It appeared as if Shadow was short-circuiting, which was basically what she was doing. Her mind wasn't with her. Which means her memories were distored.
"Swear...knife...Queen...yes?...no?"

"ACK!"
"Shadow! What is it?"
"What?" Morte rushed to Schwarz's side. "What's going on?"
"She's freaking out! And it's giving me a headache..." Schwarz wailed.
"I need to..."
"What do you need?"
"WHAT DOES SHE NEED?"
"I need to get to my body NOW!!!" Shadow screamed. Schwarz collapsed and Morte crouched down next to her.
"My Queen," he begged. "What is it we need to do?"
"My...my plan..." Shadow whispered. Schwarz's lips did not move, but the voice came from her throat. "My plan...Tanis!" Shadow shrieked. "Tanis can get inside the barrier! Must...must hurry! Fate of everything! Quickly quickly! I have to...JUMP!" Schwarz screamed as Shadow launched herself out of her mind. She flew, like a gray blob, towards Tanis. She latched onto his head.
"Tanis..." a voice hissed, faint yet strong. "Let me into your mind...and hurry or I shall bite."

"Play pretend faster," Shade sighed. "If suceed then I shall make sure to reward you greatly." Shade smiled and thought of all the things he could do to 'reward' Becka.
'Hmm...I could have fun with this girl...I have always wanted a mistress...and Fille just never fit the position.'
Shade glanced at Fille and smiled. She smiled back, completely unaware of just about everything.

Vlad stood and hurried to the side of the cage.
"Shadow?" he said frantically, watching as she sat there, spouting random words. "Shadow can you hear me?"
He turned to Kaminari. "Please, just give her a moment. If you can just give her a moment, I'm sure she'll come up with the answer that you and I and everybody here wants."
'Ohh...but I hope that she hurries up. A moment is so little time, and it's so much more than we have!'

Rebecca ran, completely invisible to shadows and dragons and everything but her Mother and her Brother. She spotted Tanis and like a cat she jumped and clawed onto him, her teeth sinking into his neck. She appeared to be a cat now, a big cat, Tiger in fact, the peircings still in her ears. She worked to claw at every best on his body, not caring about Shadow's mind; her mouth never left his neck, sucking out as much of his blood as possible, like a vampire.

Daron winced, shrinking back against the wall. "Attack!" He yelled suddenly, but Kaminari paid him no mind. She stared at Shadow and scowled.

"WE DON'T HAVE A MOMENT!" She yelled. "Daron! Make it impossible for that dragon to enter. Or try to!" She commanded, staring at the knife. "She doesn't have to say it, she just has to swear it," she murmured. "Come on..." she growled, becoming more like a child.

Daron quickly put up more sheilds, but his energy was draining. Then he looked at Lilia and smirked. Lilia stared back, still lapping at her bowl. "Mother...." Daron murmured and Kaminari looked up, then looked at Lilia.

"Lilia, Daughter of the Night..." Kaminari whispered standing swiftly, "attack the ones who want to hurt your mother. You brother and sister. And most importantly, Vlad." She commanded.

"Mother?" Daron asked, but Lilia was already gone from the house, running towards Morte and Schwarz, her anger going to the maxium...Vlad, to her, was in trouble.

"Think about it, Daron," Kaminari said, kneeling in front of the knife again. "If Shade wants Shadow, he'll have to knock down the competetion. Meaning the Vampire. If Shade wants Shadow...well more like if he wants her mind. Her body, on the other hand, is a complete animal, surviving on insticts and insanity. She should've kept it." She whispered, watching the knife. "Keep the sheilds up, stronger nearest to the house."

"Nearest?"

"Why of course. Might has hurt them while they're coming closer, hn? Just one touch, just one, agaisnt my home, I hope, will kill. If not...I'll have to focus purely on something else..." she murmured, a twisted smirk coming to her face.
