Shut...

The ******** soon as he finished talking, the loud bangs of his pistols firing countless rounds exploded into the ambient soundscape. Each bullet fired from the gun would have more than enough speed to strike both of the men before they even had time to form a coherent though or action and would strike with enough power to pass through their bodies, spattering their guts and brains across the ground before gravity had a chance to grip their falling corpses. It was game over. Or was it...?

If Ferrex and Dame were to open their no doubt clenched eyes, they would see the bullets spinning in the air mere inches away from their heads and bodies. Zane would see the last few rounds fired simply sitting not far from the end of his weapon, still spinning, and hot from the barrel.

What the ******** was then that the spinning bullets would drop to the ground, rendered harmless. The metal tinkering against the floor of the Underground's cavern. They would seem to fall in slow motion, as if guided by an unknown force. It was then that a slight whooshing noise could be heard, gaining volume until a powerful blast of something slammed into Zane, and scattered pieces of paper away from whatever it was that hit the man. Zane's body doubled over in pain, his eyes bulged as he clutched his stomach where fresh blood was beginning to flow.

Then, another whooshing sound followed, this time, the man's body arching backwards as something hit him square in the chin, a sickening crunch echoing across the quiet crowd as his jaw shattered from the force. His arms left his stomach and one could see a massive bruise on his bare chect where something has hit so hard, the bruise had actually began to bleed though the skin.

Then, two whoosing sounds, and Zane's body convulsed to either side as two more crippling hits were sent into his jaw. But still, he continued to stand. More whooshing, two more lighting fast blows. Then several more followed from different directions as something turned the man into a punching bag for invisible blows. After the barrage, his body lifted slightly into the air, and a much louder and prominent whooshing sound erupted as a lightning fast black blur whizzed only inches above the crowd to land mere feet in front of Damrius and Ferrex with a fist and arm moving into a punch as the figure slowed down to a visable speed.

You talk too much, slime.

As the arm and fist moved outward, Zane's body visably indented from the force of what appeared to be an invisible punch. As if he moved in slow motion, his body crumpled forward and flew backwards with amazing speed, splintering the wooden back of the stage, leaving a hole roughly five feet in diameter.

The black blur was none other than Ryudo Kazamaru. And as he moved himself into a standing position, his eyes moved to encompass the other three thugs. They looked at eachother briefly, before all three charging Ryudo. Brick moved to strike him with his club, Zeke attacked with his obsidian daggers, and Sol aimed a leaping punch directly at Ryudo's face.

Without so much as a blink, Brick and Zeke suddenly froze, stooping to the ground as if being crushed under extreme weight. Sol froze mid punch only to be spun around like a rag doll, and cast through the wall of an adjacent building as Ryudo spun around, his trenchcoat whipping around him as he did so. As he flew, Zeke and Brick began to recover, and once more made to strike. But as they advanced, Ryudo's cold red eyes locked onto them. With another graceful spin, Zeke was cast into the air as Ryudo's left arm moved upwards, and as Zeke moved up, Ryudo's right arm snapped out, Brick's chest and stomach folding in as he was sent flying backwards across the ground where he landed in a dumpster.

Zeke wasn't so fortunate, for after Ryudo's two snapping arm movements, he spun his arms around, and bent himself foreward, his right arm hitting dirt. Zeke plumeted towards the ground and slammed through the wooden floor of the stage, splinters flying into the air, and falling down like a strange brown snow. After a second or two, Ryudo stood up, and spun around, cracking his neck, looking at the crowd.

The show is canceled.

Damrius jumped back as he heard the crunching of bones immediately after the gun shots. That was not normal, no matter how weird you were. He then saw the bodies hitting the ground, and the blood, and then the bullets, and finally Ryudo.

Took your damn time, now didn't you?

Elite Ferrex

Needless to say, Ferrex was astonished, and yet internally horrified. But, he realized that there was no need for alarm, since this... figure... had just saved both his and his "ally's" lives. He looked over to the new man, and spoke as calmly as possible.

Well, I... guess that about ends it. If you're, uh... not too... busy... to listen, thanks for the um... favor. I guess I... owe you one.

Dame stopped and looked at Ferrex.

Techniqually I owe you one. We don't really owe him one. That's his job. Especially since his... Girlfriend there was in trouble.

Damrus couldn't hold back from smiling. He looked at the girl who he tried to help out, and then at the remainder of the crowd.

It might be best if we take this to a... More private area. Master Ryudo, would you please show us all the way?

"Actually, if I may have a word?" the law officer interrupted in his deep voice, though he did so more of a statement than as a question as he climbed up to the stage to stand before the crowd. You know, it was uncommon for an officer to be alone, especilly in a dangerous place like the slums, so where was his partner and/or backup? Probably in some nearby alley or building, just watching over the scene. That would be the guess of the crowd, and none would stop him as they did not want to bring more law officers from above ground into their sanctum.

As for the fighters? Well, if anyone was watching the scene from the shadows, they'd know those who would cause any trouble were the ones that already had, and probably would be keeping an eye on them. Now was just a matter of if they were going to deny the officer his speach to the gathering and if they would attack one of the law.

The cloaked girl was moving at the back of the crowd, which seemed very interested in the story being told. She didn't care, but it was fine that such a thing was happening- it let her move around while everyone else's attention was focused on something else- the storytelling fighters, or the cop who'd just put himself in the middle of everything. To him, she tilted her head and made a confused face- before completely pausing, blinking, then shrugging the entire matter off and continuing to her destination.

Whistling, she regained her smirk by the time she reached the caged/netted [?] one the whole fuss was about. This also meant that she was by Damius, who recieved a ^_________^ smile. It was just a little creepy, since only her mouth was showing- a effect of having the hood of the cloak pulled down so far.

"Don't worry your mind over this one; I'll take care of her...~"

Damrius looked over at the cloaked figure. His right arm moved toward the Vengeful, but stopped in mid movement. THe pain from teh wound had gotten to him, and the blood loss was not helping. He began to sway back and forth slightly, and his vision blurring.

What are you talking about? And who the hell are you?!

The last comment was directed both at the officer and the cloaked woman.

Madison blinked slightly at the new cloaked woman and that back at the fallen man, she sat in a rather confused manner. So much had occured in so little time, she was rather scared to move from her current spot.

Many of the people who surrounded her seem to offer to take care of her, but she wasn't sure if she trusted any of them. Once seeing the sight of Ryudo however, she quickly dashed behind him. She began to use him a shield from the others, peering from behind. Knowing however that he may attack at any moment, but she didn't mind. He made a good sheild anyways.

"So where should w...."

He turned his head back. Madison was no where to be found. He looked around for a few moments, before deciding that she was swept up by the crowds of people. He turned back, hurrying down the decrepid roads.

"Damnit, Moonblade. Now look what you've done..."

Damrius.

Ryudo's voice was sharp and cut through the air like a razor bladed katana.

Let them be. That man is an officer of the law, and the woman isn't important.

He looked down to Madison cowering behind him.

I believe it is time we made our exit.

He looked back up at Dame and then towards the officer and the woman.

Officer, I believe these miscreants shant be causing you any more trouble, and I leave them in your hands. You have my solemn promise I will not impede into any other proceedings such as these. And as for you, miss, your offer is well recieved, but unnecessary.

Madison, Damrius, follow me. Your wound is not severe enough to hinder your movement, so you shall be fine until we get where we are going. Ms. Kobayashi is waiting for us at an inn nearby.

With that said, Ryudo made his way through the crowd, or what was left of it still in his way. He was sure the others were following him, and didn't bother to look back...

Damrius stared at Ryudo, and shook his head. He then gained his balance, his arm throbbing, and started towards the direction Ryudo was headed in.

May not hinder my movement, but still hurts like a b***h.

He muttered that under his breath, knowing that ryudo would hear him anyway.

As Ryudo would turn around, the officer's hand would shoot out and rest upon his shoulder to still him for just a moment as he would issued a simple warning. "I hope you do not plan to disturb the future doings of the city and its inhabitants again, sir."

He'd obviously feel the hand on his shoulder, but the real question was if he felt the tiny pinprick it that followed it. Something so fine it worked through the gaps in even the most tightly woven fabrics around.

The officer removed his hand in indication to let the man go about his business as he would take care of the crowd. He shoo'd them off to their own business, as the saying goes, "Show's over." And as he spoke, he looked into one of the dark alleys around the area.

Madison didn't hesitate at what Ryudo said and was off in a dash. Though however, she seemed to keep her distance from Ryudo. Yet she was close enough to him so she wouldn't get lost. Her eyes were drawn sharply to the ground only to see the black trench coat that the man infront of her wore practically float infront of her.

Her arms where sharply folded as the feeling of stupidity settled over her, she knew that she shouldn't have left the group. But of course, what had happened had happened.

Occasionally, she would run into where Ryudo had been walking and quickly jump back. As though nothing had happened, she pretended as though she were to be invisible at this point in time.

It was a little ridiculous. There were far more people in this dreary city than he would have thought. It wasn't as if he were in a swarming crowd, but a girl with rabit ears shouldn't really be this hard to find. He could just imagine what Ryudo might say when he found out about this.

He wouldn't though, or he might end up stabbing someone.

Ryudo was stopped, even if only for a second. Madison wouldn't be stopped- in fact, she'd move even faster than she planned for another shrouded person dropping a heavy, gloved hand on her, pushing her one way to the side, where yet another figure was standing there in wait to lay hands on her shoulders. Madison would feel no pain, but their grip was true- she wasn't going anywhere.

Of course, this shrouded female would walk around to Madison's face, further discouraging her- as if the hands on her weren't enough. She raised a hand, and waved a finger in Madison's face. "Now, be a good girl and stop running. Unless you have something to hide?"
