"umm... ok..." *Well thats not going to be too hard.* she thought. she screamed, as load as she could, letting all her fear out.

Sam covered his ears, thankful that his hearing wasn't greatly enhanced as his nose was. he changed back into a werewolf and tore the sheet to shreds to get it off.

Chloe was confused. she couldn't remember the face but she couldn't believe that it was him. She got up out of her corner and walked to Soma, "No, it couldn't be." She picked him up. "Not the first one at least." Now she knew. he had been the one who was protecting her that time but the first one was someone else. "That couldn't have been you, because it was- that was my father." she said. it made sense to her. her aunt and uncle had refused to tell her about her parents but she doubted they knew what he really was.

Sam's eyes widened. *That means- Is Chloe half vampire?*

"Thank you for protecting me back then." she said to Soma, hugging him.

Sam growled. *Sorry to break up your touching scene but they are coming.* he told himself. he walked over to the door, out of reach of the swinging range of the door but close enough to pounch the second it opened. he crouched down his tail wagged back and forth. Chloe looked at Sam, *Its a game for him. I hope he can have fun I guess.* she returned back to her corner and prayed for the best.

Chloe touched her cheek lightly in surprise.
Sam snorted. The door burst open and Sam leaped at the first one. he was a better fighter than the last one but Sam still brought him down within half a minute. He could smell five others. *che- oh yeah, we are surrounded.* Sam thought sarcastically.

Sam looked at the window. he couldn't open it. and he didn't want to break it lest Chloe freeze from the draft. he barked at Soma and rushed out in the hall hoping tat he'd understand, besides, there were three werewolves in the hall and only two outside. Sam was worried leaving Soma with those two as it were. he hoped that he'd be able to take care of himself better than with the first one they killed. The three werewolves tried to circle around Sam but he wouldn't have it. he slashed at one and kicked one away from his back. one came from the side and scratched Sam's side. Sam howled and bat the younger werewolf away and he wen tumbling away. he ripped out the throat of the first one and the second one jumped on his back. Sam rolled over and crushed him under his back the wolf yelped and let go of Sam. Sam slashed his hide repeatedly and tore off one of his legs. the third one came back and Sam met it in the air. *When will these pups learn that leaping opens your belly?* Sam hit him like a freight train and they tumbled away, slashing at each other. Sam bit the others chest and he heard bones breaking. he dug in deeper in the hole he made and tore out the heart. *Better see how Soma's doing.* Sam thought. the bloody werewolf returned to the infirmary.

Sam ripped off another bed sheet and covered himself before changing. "We just killed about eight werewolves and you want to know where you can find blood? just go out in the hall, you silly bloodsucker." he replied. Sam turned to Chloe. "Are you ok?" he asked.

Chloe nodded. "Are they all dead?" she asked.
Sam nodded.
"Don't you feel bad for killing those who are werewolves like you?" Chloe asked him.
Sam shrugged. "They aren't in my pack- my nonexistant pack." he smiled at Chloe and then realized that that probably wasn't the smoothest move, seeing as he was all bloody. "Ah, sorry about that, but don't worry about me, Soma is more likely to feel bad for them than me because of his pansy-ness." Sam laughed.

Sam smiled at Soma, "But i know you won't cause we already had this discussion." Sam licked his boodied teeth. "And never call me Pumpkin, you can save that for Chloe." Sam teased.

Chloe blushed, remembering Soma's kiss.

"well you aren't very secritive." Sam said.

Chloe nodded. "Why were they after me?" she asked.
