Abel watched Alice carefully as she cleaned it up. When it was gone he let out a breath and loosened up a bit. "That's better. I thought I had gotten everything earlier...but I guess not...I'm sorry about that. Usually I catch everything." He rubbed at his head and then laughed when Talen called him crazy.
"I told you I was." He said quietly and then frowned for a minute. "But what if..." He stopped himself and forced himself to not say anything more.
Gabriel smiled at Abel as the boy did his best not to say anything else. "Abel, I've decided to buy you a few more days." He finally said. His remark made Abel's eyes move to the dark man, an utter joy in their light blues. "I figured you'd be best here, so as not to say anything to make the council lessen their lenience. You have a tendency to not talk well under pressure."
Abel knew it was true. He nodded and swallowed, giving Gabriel a wide smile, the first honest one he had given for a while. "Thank you Gabriel..." He breathed out and Gabriel shrugged. Abel felt like his heart was about to explode. "I can't even begin to tell you how happy this makes me. I'm so thankful."
"I know you are. Don't worry about it. You deserve it." Gabriel gave the boy a smile and looked towards the door. "I should get back soon. I have to get a hold of Hans and talk to him about this."
"Oh!" Abel reached for his jacket and pulled a folded up note from its jacket. "Could you give this to Hans for me?" Gabriel took it with a curious look. "Thank you...are you leaving right now?"
"I should."
"Oh...I wish I could make you lunch or something. I'd feel awful not making you anything."
"I don't need you to do anything for me Abel. You've done a lot." Gabriel looked over to Talen and Alice, pulling on his coat. "You two take care of him for me."

((Hahaha. i burned my fingertips off today D:< I'M SO COOL.
When Gabriel announced that he would try to buy Abel a few more days Alice's face lit up with a bright smile. Even Talen was smiling, although sideways and more subtle. He pressed it into the palm of his hand and looked up at Gabriel with his eyebrows raised.
As the dark man pulled on his jacket and said his goodbyes Alice was quick to hug him tightly around the neck. "Thank you." She said with all the sincerity in her heart.
Talen smiled at his sister and feeling like he should he said: "You won't have to worry about Abel. He's got me... and more scarier: My sister."
Alice smiled and drew away from the tall angel. "Thank you." She said once more and then turned to smile at Abel. She then did a ridiculous sort of happy dance and had to hug Abel again. "What a relief!" She sighed.
Talen just shook his head, still smiling. "I'm glad you get to stick around, Abel." And patted him lightly on his shoulder.
((hahaha, Alice is such a hugger. XD ))

((You're so amazing! BURNT FINGERTIPS! YAY!))
Gabriel looked surprised when Alice hugged him. He nodded and cleared his throat when she let go. "Yes...well..." He rubbed the top of his head and started to button up his coat. "I'm sure you two will keep him well." He said and noticed Abel smirking in his seat at Gabriel. Gabriel licked his lips and nodded. "Keep out of trouble Abel, don't make me regret this okay?"
Abel laughed a bit at Talen patted him on the shoulder and was hugged by Alice. "Thank you." He said happily and looked up as Gabriel walked over to him. The man put a hand on Abel's head. "Gabriel?" Abel whispered and looked up. Gabriel knelt down and wrapped his arms around Abel. The smaller angel seemed taken back for a minute before hugging Gabriel back.
"Be happy, okay Abel?" Gabriel muttered. Abel nodded slowly and leaned back when Gabriel stood up. "I mean it. Live in the present." He smiled and then took out Abel's cell phone and handed it to him. "I took out the mute button."
Abel laughed at this and watched Gabriel walked towards the door. "Thank you, Gabriel. Thank you." Gabriel smiled and opened the door. A minute later he closed it and the engine to his Jaguar outside purred on and he was gone.
In silence, Abel put the phone into his pocket and started to pull on his shirt. "I'm sorry...I put you through a lot..." He said, muffled by his shirt as he pulled it over his head.

((OKAY. Posting. Hahaha, finally. Phew. Intense week is intense.))
Alice smiled as she heard Gabriel's car drive away. She just shook her head. "No. It's alright." She said.
"Yeah. Just getting back at me a little, huh?" Talen joked.
Alice shook her head. "We need to talk, Talen... but do you want some breakfast, Abel?" She wiped at her face and went about tossing the beer bottles on the kitchen table into the recycling. "Well... brunch?" She laughed a little.

((I KNOW I am so glad this week is over. D: I had a really fun Sociology class though! We all talked and stuff about crazy things. It was great.))
Abel frowned to Talen and shook his head. "You've never done anything to get back at you for..." He trailed off when Alice offered breakfast and he looked offended at first. His eyes were wide and he shrunk in his seat slightly. He was silent and he looked to the side at the fridge and cabinets.
"Oh. No. It's okay." He said with a weak smile. In honesty, he was starving. All that running, all that crying, it was exhausting and it burned his energy from the half eaten dinner from yesterday. The thing was that he couldn't let Alice make him something. He'd feel awful. If he had to get something to eat, he would get it. There was something about making people work for him that made him uneasy and nervous, as if he was doing something bad or they wouldn't do something correctly.
His eyes drifted to the table and he used his sleeve to wipe away the moisture from the beer bottles. "I hope Gabriel didn't intrude on anything...he's kind of pushy and nosy." He muttered as he rubbed a spot on the table clean. "I know he means well though...he's always tried to help me with everything. Kind of like the over protective brother I've never had." When he finished getting the mess off the table he stared at his sleeve, folded it, and pushed it to the side.
((Wheee. I wish he was in my room to clean it...I need it to be cleaned so badly. D:
Edit: Also...if you feel the need to do a time skip or something, feel free to. ;D Cause I dunno...you might have to or something? Whatever!))

((HERE I GO! LET'S SEE WHAT MY FINGERS DOOO....))
Alice shook her head. "Nonsense. I'm going to make something for Talen so if you want any of that, just have at it." And she moved about the kitchen and gathered some ingredients: bread, box of cereal and milk. "It's not like I'm going to get complicated." She said as she buttered some toast.
"This is why guys are dying to date you..." Talen said with teasing smirk.
His sister tapped him lightly with her butterknife. "Gabriel is a god man." She said. "He didn't bother anyone but Talen." She smiled. "Makes me like him more."
Talen gave his sister a brief look. "He's alright." He said and shook Abel gently by his shoulder. "But don't tell him I said so."
After their brunch the member's of the house hold went about their weekend business. Talen introduced Abel to the television, as instructed by his sister, and was then carted off to have their talk. There was a time when Alice rose her voice, but it died down quickly, probably more mindful of Abel than anything.
He never told her about how he got his money and probably never would. It'd just break her heart and she didn't need anymore of that. Talen could already see the disapproving look Abel would have given him, but he kept himself locked tight and hugged his sister lightly after she was finished.
"I don't want you to even look at Cain anymore." She said before he left her room. There was a way he turned to look at her that told her he still would. He smiled failingly. "Talen..." She said, but he shook his head.
"You do so much for me." Was the last thing he said to her on the matter and drifted out the door.
The rest of the day was spent lounging about the house and Talen teasing Abel slightly about having to clean everything. When he brought a bowl of chips into their small living room he just about had a heart attack over the crumbs he immersed in the couch cushions.
Talen had been telling Abel about the most amazing movies they were about to watch (three of his absolute favorites) when a knock came on the door. Leaving Abel, the movies, and the bowl of chips behind he answered it. Saul smiled at him dimly on the front step, shivering against the chill. He was leaning on the side of the house slightly for support.
"Hey." Saul said.
"Hey." But then Talen frowned. "What are you doing out?"
"I couldn't stay another night... I can't pay. I didn't feel right." Saul made a shrugging motion with his shoulders and winced.
"Frickin... are you still all messed up?" Talen said and drug the frail boy inside supported on his shoulder. He toted him over to his couch and lay him out.
"Cool it, Talen! I'm alright. I promise." He laughed a little. "Really."
"Like hell you're alright." Talen said with a half hearted rage.
Saul looked to Abel and half smiled. "Long time no see. Talen seems to be in a good mood."

Abel had been amazed by the television. Not only were tiny little people inside, but they told stories too! He had been so amazed he hadn't even realized Talen had left to talk to Alice.
It was only when someone came to the door that Abel snapped out of his concentration on what Spanish woman would get the Spanish man who had strange flowing shirts and black leather pants. His blue eyes looked towards the hall way as he heard a familiar voice.
He immediately shot up, ignoring the pain in his side and ran over just as Talen and Saul came to the living room. "Saul! What are you doing?" He said in a panicky voice, wide eyes and hovering around the two boys as they put Saul on the couch. "You shouldn't be out! You're still awfully hurt! What do you think you're doing?" He gasped and paused when Saul spoke to him. His eyes lightened and he shook his head.
"You really need to go back. Money doesn't matter. You have to get better..." He said quietly and leaned over Saul, looking him up and down and trying to figure out how he felt. "We should take you back. You're better there...the nurses are really nice and they know what they're doing. You're not good enough to be wondering around." He knelt down and put a hand to his mouth, brows furrowed as he watched Saul carefully.
"Is...is that the only reason you left? Because of not being able to pay?" Abel said softly, slightly muffled under his pale, bruised hand.
((Hahaha what a worry wart.))

((EL OH EL. AND HOLY CRAP I HAD SO MANY TYPOS IN MY LAST POST.
I fail.))
Saul just shook his head at Abel. "You're just as bad as Talen."
"He has every RIGHT to be concerned, Saul..." Talen crouched by the couch. "You were so messed up I thought you'd never breathe out of your face ever again!"
Saul shook his head again. "They patched me up. That's enough." He looked to Abel at his question. "It's one reason, I guess." He said. "I had no one to bail me out... I had no where else to go but here. I'm sorry, Talen." He glanced at him. "Can I hang out a few days?"
Talen quirked his mouth. "If you weren't so beat up already I'd PUNCH you." He growled. "Of course you can stay."
Saul looked to Abel again, somehow feeling he needed to convince him more than anyone that he would be fine. "I promise. I'm alright." He turned the corners of his mouth up into a smile. "I'll tell you if I need to go back."
Talen turned around so his back was pressed into the couch and sat. "You do look better."
"I feel better." He said honestly, eyes on Abel.
"Did Lilith visit you again?"
Saul got quiet at this and smiled. "What were you guys up to?" He wanted to know.

((Haha I don't notice those things. xD I suck at stuff like that anyways. WHATEVER.))
Abel pulled his knees up so he was wrapping his arms around his legs. He rest his chin on his knees as Saul and Talen talked, still watching the worse off boy with concern. His eyes were dark, full of worry and a mixture of other things.
"You better tell one of us." Abel said back to him, voice soft and gentle. "Your health is more important than integrity." He wrinkled his nose for a moment and tilted his head when Saul got quiet at Talen's question. Abel gave a little smirk, getting a strange feeling off of a Saul, more of an inner happiness, something he hadn't felt around any of them in a while.
"We were watching the...tell uh vision." Abel began, as if he were suddenly an expert on this new technology. "See? There are these tiny little people that run across the screen and it plays out like in the theaters, of course it isn't as good, nothing is as good as a well done play, but it gets close enough. These Spanish women were fighting over this man, and oh they got in a fight! A fight! I was so worried!" Abel waved a hand at the screen which was still on.
"But it was okay, because the man settled them down and said that everything would be okay, but he only loved one of them. It was very dramatic! I was sure he'd have picked Anna, but instead he chose Castelle. I was very disappointed. That woman, she is a very selfish person, she only wanted him for his money." He made a face and shook his head. "I can only hope Anna will find a man perfect for her, who will love her for who she is." He closed his eyes and nodded solemnly, lost in the moment.
((xD Hahaha he likes his Spanish soap operas I guess... Tehehe. ))

((OKAY. ONE MOAR. Then I shower... for... I stink. It's really pretty gross.))
Saul looked to Abel with a slightly quirked brow as he went on to describe the television to him. Talen had his mouth pressed into his hand and was rocking back and forth on his back end. Saul glanced between Talen and Abel, his shoulders shaking with silent laughter.
"Uh huh?" He said and then when he went on to describe the soap opera he let loose a raspy laugh and hugged his sides. "Oh man! Abel! You're crazy!" He laughed, wiping at his eyes. "Seriously. What the... frickin' brilliant." And he laughed more.
Talen was still laughing into the palm of his hand and was shaking his head.
"Poor, poor Anna." Saul said as sympathetically as he could, but couldn't keep the laughter out of his voice.
"Oh Abel." Talen said and ruffled the blond's head. "You always make me feel better."
((Hahahaha, I love him <3 ))

((Hahahaha. He kinda just...is easily amused. xD And easily disturbed too.))
Abel looked to Talen and Saul curiously as the two started to laugh. He was sure it wasn't funny. Women fighting over men weren't funny to him anyways. He supposed it was something to do with the times they were in. He had seen a lot of different things, different ideals, different morals...perhaps humor was another thing that was different.
"Yes...it was...very..." He paused and looked confused. Then Saul told him he was crazy and Abel realized this was around the third time he had heard that. "Ah, well, everyone seems to think so." He began but stopped when Talen was trying to not to laugh out loud. Abel cracked a smile, unsure what to laugh at, but still feeling happy with all this laughter around, even if he didn't realize he was the center of this amusement.
"Really...she deserves a man to look out for her." He said and wrinkled his face as Talen ruffled his hair. "Hey..." He muttered and pushed Talen's hand away softly. "It's already fluffy enough." He gave a smile when Talen said Abel made him feel better. For some reason that simple statement made him feel ultimately perfect. Those words, some he had never heard spoken to him before, made him feel amazing. He smiled still and lowered his eyes.
"I'm glad. I really am. When you guys are happy, it makes me especially happy." He nodded again and laughed. "Even if I usually am very confused, happiness isn't too confusing, I think." He stretched out and put a hand to his side, feeling the bandage carefully and looking towards the windows. "What do you two usually do when school is out?" Then he thought better of this question and reworded it, "What do you two do for FUN when school is out?" He glanced back over to his friends, raised his brows.

((BEFORE WORK POST. LOL.))
Saul and Talen paused in their laughter to hear Abel remark that he was especially happy that they were happy. They exchanged grins.
"Yes. Well. We're TEN TIMES happier because you're especially happy." Saul said jokingly. Talen laughed again, but it wasn't cruel laughter, it was somehow affectionate.
"Now I know why all the girls want Abel. He's just SO adorable." He joked and mockingly pinched one of his cheeks.
At the question of what they did for their free time they exchanged looks again and then when Abel corrected himself they both burst out laughing once more. Talen had his head on Saul's shoulder and Saul's head was back on the arm rest.
Once they had control of themselves again Talen decided to answer. "Well..." He said and looked thoughtful. "Video games... I guess..."
"Yeah. Video games." Saul agreed.
"Movies." Talen added.
Saul nodded in agreement.
"I mean... Saul's kinda immobile at the moment so we couldn't like go out or anything."
"You could play guitar." Saul said.
"Yeah, but that's something I do on my own. You'd get bored watching me." He laughed. "How about video games, Abel? Those are pretty exciting."

((I MADE HUMMUS! YAH! ;] It was hard to do with a blender...since I haven't got a food processor. But it turned out okay. ))
Abel tilted his head back before Talen grabbed his cheek. Abel made a face and pulled away. "That really brings back nightmares." He said softly and rubbed at his face. When the two of them burst out in laughter Abel was left wondering what was so funny, yet again.
Their laughter was infectious, and soon Abel was in a fit of laughter, laughing at the two of them. He rubbed tears from his eyes when Talen answered him and he blinked, obviously confused at the term of video games. "Right." He said, and was silent. At the mention of guitar, Abel's eyes lit up.
"No no, I want to hear! I tried to learn the guitar one week when my parents were gone. My dad had this ancient one, and I taught myself some stuff...but nothing spectacular. You're so much better, I'm sure of it! Maybe you could teach me some things." He said with excitement, moving back onto his knees again and smiling. "I'd never get bored watching that. Trust me. I'm sure Saul would like to hear it too."
Abel started to get back, ushering Talen up with him. "Let's get your guitar. Come on." His eyes flickered over to Saul and he leaned over, very quickly he pushed some hair from Saul's face as he made a face. It had been bothering him for a while. A soft sigh escaped his lips before he started to pester Talen again.

((Hhahaha, it's truuuue... guitars are also sexy. NOT AS SEXY AS PIANO. But almost... okay maybe equally as sexy.))
Talen seemed a little baffled at Abel's excitement to hear him play guitar. "Er... okay. Alright." He laughed as Abel coaxed him up. "You don't mind?" He asked of Saul.
Saul shook his head. "You're good, so it's not like it'll make my ears bleed." He smirked. "Hopefully."
Talen shook his fist at him jokingly and once completely upright trotted off. "We'll be right back!" And he took Abel with him.
Saul made a face as Abel fixed his hair. "Pft." He said and laughed again. "Thanks, mom."
Once in his room Talen vanished into his closet to pick it out. "It's been awhile since I've had time... so let's see if I can even find it, huh?"

((Hahaha man...piano...I want to pick it back up again. But I don't have the motivation. xD ))
Abel laughed a bit at Saul before taking off with Talen. He had only once had a glimpse of Talen's room. It had been the first night here, and that was when he wasn't really taking the time to look around. But now that he was waiting on something, he did, and what he saw made him instantly start rubbing at his arm and fidgeting.
It was a mess.
His eyes kept flickering across the ground looking at the clothes, papers, and things he didn't know what they were. His body tensed and he didn't even heard Talen call out from the closet. He began to chew on his lips, hand still rubbing his arm nervously, trying his best not to start trying to clean everything up. It made him antsy, fidgety, and on edge.
"This isn't sanitary." He whispered out to himself and closed his eyes. He managed to take in a breath, he was sure it was much stuffier than the air downstairs, almost causing him to cough.
"I'll wait outside." He said quickly and pushed himself out of the room and around the corner so he wouldn't see anything. Opening his eyes he let go of his arm and tilted his head back, feeling the panic rush out of him. It felt like there was still mess around him. He felt dirty. He knew it was completely irrational and crazy, but it didn't make it any better. To him it felt like it was HIS mess and if he didn't clean it, there would be consequences.
Slowly he started to count in his mind. His thoughts pushed to the side and replaced with numbers. 1, 2, 3... He hoped Talen would find the guitar soon.
((Hahaha. I figured an average teenage boy's room would make Abel freak out. Or my room for that matter...))
