"God, this is bad. One shot left..." Jon let himself go and turned to his demonic alter ego. Hopefully it would distract people for long enough to do some good. As the transformation continued, people kept staring in awe. With the transformation complete, he stood up and looked around. How would everyone react to this shocking development?

Erik looked at Jon with a confused look on his face. "What the hell happened?" Jon smiled. With a sinister voice, he explained. "It's a side effect of my diamond controlling. It's something I don't fully understand myself, all I know is that I can kill anything with ease, and that this demonic form slowly saps my life away...I don't know how to revert it. It could be that I'm only alive for a few minutes, but by then, anyone who gets in my way will die!"

"The virus doesn't effect men. There's a very special circumstance with me, I survived a nuclear blast. Turned my bones to diamond, and gave me this dark side. But if you dare to raise a weapon at me, I WILL KILL YOU!" Jon remembered that there was a spring that restored his human form, but he didn't have the time. He had to fight right now, but he could fell his life slipping away.

"Don't do it! It could be a trick." Lin said, her chaingun arm leveled at Serrenedy's head. The Ares Cybers were calmly watching, ready to fire at her command.

Jon didn't care a thing about Serrenedy's potion. He stabbed her in the stomach. "Do you really think I'm so stupid to fall to a trick like that!?" Jon watched as Serrenedy squirmed. He was enjoying her pain, and the blood that was flowing onto his hand was being absorbed, and it restored his health.

"The world has not gone crazy, only I have." Jon was ready to leap back into the fight, rip Serrenedy limb from limb, but something held him back. Erik paced a hand on his shoulder. "Jon, don't do it. If your feeling smart, run. I doubt Lin will take your explanation. Who knows? She could have already told those Cybers to take you apart." Jon nodded. "I will return. Give me a minute." Jon turned and ran off for the spring that had changed him back to human before.

Jon leaped into the spring, cleansing himself in the cold waters. Although he was returned to a normal body, the same could not be said for his mind. He had tried to kill that woman...stabbed her, and he took pleasure in it! He was losing his mind, but he walked back towards where Erik and the others where.

Erik stood with blade ready, but it seemed that Serrenedy had lost interest in fighting. He looked over to where Karoline was frozen, but it turned out she wasn't frozen anymore. "Damn! Lin! Where did she go?" Erik didn't know this, but she made her escape during Jon's whole transformation thing. She had slipped a note in Erik's pocket that read like this:

Erik, I need to talk with you privately. Would you please come to the arena in town? I promise that there will be no one else there. Just us two. I need to talk with you badly.

"Give me that!" Erik swiped the note out of Serrenedy's hand. "Don't you have more important things to do, like killing innocent people?" Erik still didn't like Serrenedy, only working with Lindsey in order to maybe help himself out. Erik quickly scanned the note, figuring it was a trap, but maybe Karoline did actually need him. He walked over to Lindsey. "Hey, sorry about Serrenedy not knowing you, but I have to leave. Jon will protect you." Jon was near flabbergasted. "What makes you think i wanna work with the Granddaughter of some b***h?" Erik turned to Jon. "I have more then enough reason to ram this blade of mine through your heart, so do as I say. I have things to do, and i can't help Lindsey right now, so you're up." Jon sighed. "Why do i get saddled with escort duty?"
