Kale left without another word, going up the stairs.
Talon left Jasmines room, sighing. "What am I going to do now?"
"You mean, what are we going to do now?" Kale corrected. "Kaida told me that she loves me, we're both in the same situation. How do you suppose we're going to feed? We can't feed from each other, thats suiside, the most likely option is to feed from them, but then we risk turning them if we don't kill them."
Talon frowned. "I don't know, Kale. We'll just have to survive for now off the blood packets we have stored around the house. When they are gone, that's when we'll worry. However, we'll have to use them wisely if we're going to last a human life time. That is of course, you still think that your mate is not here yet."

Kaida just sat there as Kale left, looking at a blood packet. It was swirly and red.

Since Kale left, several random vampires had been surrounding the kitchen, sneaking in it quietly. "The good little girl wants to be like us, what a joy it'll be to have someone as pretty as the late two girls to be apart of our family." "Whoever turns one will have her as his mate, she doesn't have a choice and neither will the one she loves." "You know the rules though, the house won't let us touch them if they love one of our kind." "That's why we'll bring them to us, the house can't stop the human if it's her free will." several voices whispered.
Kale frowned. "I don't know Talon, how am I supposed to know if she's the one?"
Talon chuckled. "That's quiet easy my friend. One taste of her blood, that's all you'll need. If her blood doesn't sing for you after that, she's not the one. I just had my taste."

Kaida put the blood packet back and thought she heard whispering. Were there more vampires? She looked around but couldn't see any. Hm... She thought.

"And?" Kale questioned.
"Oddly, her blood seems to be hiding her scent of its own will. Like it doesn't want me to turn her." Talon stated. "She's hiding something vital. I only know of one kind of blood to have a mind of their own." He glanced at Kale.
"Hunter blood..." Kale stated shocked. "That means she can leave whenever she wants, the house has to let her out if she wants to leave otherwise, her blood will call for the other of her clan."

Kaida walked around the kitchen, swearing she could hear voices. "My mind is plaing tricks on me...' She thought.
