To be honest, we all thought Choctaw would take the win too and although we knew we had an amazing performance, we were shocked when they were announced 2nd place. He said if Choctaw won, we'd have to start our Concert Rehearsal schedule with five, six hour rehearsals. If you guys won, he had to shave his beard. We were pleasantly surprised when he went through with his side of the bet.

Five 6-hour rehearsal? jeez.
and yeah. After our not so special semifinals performances, we were afraid we wouldn't make it to finals. We've grown so much since my freshman year, and it was great to end my senior year marching season on such a high note.
Apparently, we aren't going to state ever again because it's too long after marching season normally ends (about 3 extra weeks). We're taking it to BOA Atlanta from now on.

I liked Quidam(2010-2011) better than the Metroplex show.
The only thing it had going for it was that the Pit pretty much ran the show with some beastly runs.
