"Never..." Garin said and smiled very weakly as he opened his eyes a bit.

Aquaria looked away from him, almost sadly. She seemed hurt by something.

"Aqu-?" Garin tried to questioned, but ran out of breath.

Aquaria gently set Garin's head back onto the ground, then stood. "Why didn't you listen? I told you not to go, Stephen warned you, Sanvi was smart enough to stay behind. Why, Garin, why?" she practically screamed before running from him. She ran to Sanvi and Stephen, and Sanvi pulled the hysterical Aquaria close to her. Stephen hovered over her, worried that she had been hurt.

"No, please..." Garin begged as she ran and he couldn't follow her. He reached out towards where she had gone.

Sanvi looked over to Garin, then passed Aquaria to Stephen. "She'll be fine, just let her calm down," she told him. She slowly walked over to Garin and knelt by him.

Garin let his hand drop and closed his eyes. The only reason he knew Sanvi was there was because he could smell her. "Can't... move..." he said.

Sanvi nodded. "It was probably the Springs," she said, letting some ice creep into her voice. She didn't know what to do for him.Stephen began to hum quietly to Aquaria, to calm her down. " La Follia," he said, naming the tune.

"I know..." Garin said and closed his eyes tightly. He was focusing on the muscles in his back, trying to make them work so he could sit up.

Aquaria closed her eyes, relaxed by the slow variations in the sonata that Stephen was humming. Sanvi let Garin try to sit up, she saw no need to help him. At the moment, she was trying to control an urge to slap him.

Garin eventually fought his way to sitting up. He gritted his teeth, revealing his lengthened fangs. He braced his hands behind him and locked his elbows to keep him sitting. He opened his eyes, which were red around the rims of his irises, and looked around for Aquaria. He saw her embracing the angel and felt like his heart-no the place where his heart should be- was being torn up. Of course... Stephen had been the one who had gone with her, despite him fighting through the pain for as long as he could. he just wanted to fix what he did, so she wouldn't suffer anymore.... Even so, she had apparently moved on. He wasn't need here anymore. he now focused on standing.

Aquaria looked up as Stephen finished the sonata. "Thank you," she whispered. She turned to look at Garin, who was sitting up now. She hoped he hadn't seen them, but noticed him looking at her. She turned away from his gaze. "Stay sitting," Sanvi ordered. "You're too weak yet. The venom's taking control." Her attention to Garin's condition made her forget about slapping him, though in her eyes he deserved it.

Garin looked away when Aquaria did. "YOu won't have to worry about that for much longer," he said to Sanvi as he managed to get to his knees. He cringed, everything hurt.

"Don't say that, Garin," Sanvi said quietly. She put her hands on his shoulders, keeping him there. Aquaria began crying again, quietly, into Stephen's shoulder. "He hates me for what I said," she whispered. "He must." Stephen pulled her away from him and gently dried her tears. "No, he doesn't. He couldn't. Go on back, go back to him, Aquaria."

Garin slapped her hands away. "Why are you complaining? Haven't you wanted this since you met me?" he demanded.
