Sophitia pulled away slightly. She cared for Vandal deeply, but he was still a vampire and had vampire tendencies. He was speaking in a tone cold and distant. She looked to the witch girl, who had her eyes on the door. The other vampire had left. She wanted to speak to the girl, but she listened to Vandal instead. He was a lot better at speaking than she was.

"I agree that we need a plan and more people. Preferably people from all the sections of the city. It would be good to get to know their opinions and views on the subject," Sally said, nodding.

"Yes, also to have them on our side would reinforce that nothing bad will happen if they do not make it happen. We need the most powerful wizards, humans, centaurs and other types. Agreed? The most influential."

Brodix walked back into the room hearing what the others were saying. "So, these border rules are that big of a deal, huh? War on the horizon style...." He nodded his head. "I don't think these border rules are a great idea either.... Given I'm the new guy, but anything that fosters more hatred isn't exactly in anyone's best interests." His eyes became distant for a moment. "Except for those who would profit from it.... If there is to be a war, I say that we need to specify who our enemy is first. We can't fight everyone.... Especially since we are so limited in numbers." Brodix's gaze went from one person to the next, they all had cold stares except for the one girl with the vampire who seemed a little shaken. Shrugging, he continued, "I'm in.... No matter what happens, I've really got nothing better to do, so I might as well make myself useful."

Sophitia sucked in a breath. She was nervous. Not only that, but she had nothing to contribute except her ability to speak to ghosts. She sighed. She was completely useless...

Brodix saw the expression on the girl's face. "Hey, don't get down." he said keeping his distance. The last thing he needed was to start another fight with the vampire. Interjecting again, he started, "So.... Maybe it's just me, but maybe before we continue we should get to know one another.... I, for one, don't know any of your names.... Except for her," he said pointing to Sally, "and I only learned it 5 minutes ago. I don't mind starting.... My name is...." he trailed off for a second before re-phrasing, "What I call myself is Brodix." His gaze went to the vampire and then to the girl with him. "And you are?"

"Vandal." he placed himself slightly in front of Sophitia. Protectively.

She smiled at Brodix, who seemed to be trying to be friendly. She placed her hand on Vandal's back. She appreciated his protection, but knew Brodix meant no harm. "I'm Sophitia. It's nice to meet you!" It was nice to make friends. It would help them bond more as a group.

His usual fake smile crossed his face. "Well, it may not help us to trust one another any better.... but at least we know what to call one another now." He leaned back against a wall. "So, who's got any bright ideas to, uh.... take down the borders or whatever?"

Sophitia put her fingers to her temples. "Karin," she whispered to her ghost friend. "Have any ideas?" "I'm a ghost," she said with a laugh. "I could care less about the borders." "WOW THANKS KARIN!" Sophitia froze and put her hand to her mouth. "Sorry....my ghost friend can get on my nerves." She glared at the ghost, knowing the others would just sense her presense and not actually see her.

Brodix looked right to where Karin was then his gaze went to Sophitia, "Ghost friend, huh? That's why you're surrounded by the smell of death." His keen sense of smell let him know exactly where the ghost was even though he couldn't see it. Absent-mindedly, Brodix pondered the ghost and the girl. "That could actually be very useful, ya know.... Who better to sneak around and gather intel than a ghost, I say."

This made her smile. She had to be useful in some way. She wanted, more than anything, to help Vandal. The problem was whether Karin would go along with the idea. "Well, Karin? You think you would be willing to help?" "I don't know," she said, crossing her arms. "You better start being nicer to me." "Well," I said to the group. "I think I better start finding some more ghost friends. It seems this one's a bit uptight." Karin tugged Sophitia's hair. "You are ungrateful!" The girl sighed. If only Brodix knew how much trouble ghosts really were...

Vandal relaxed slightly. "Okay, so I figure we go around, promote it secretly. Walk up to the leaders. I know who they are, all we need to do is get them on board with this, then the rest will follow easily. Understood? We need to do this." He put his hand in the middle.

Sophitia placed her hand on top of his. "I'm with you!" She smiled up at him. I hope you know what you're doing. I don't want to see you get hurt. She thought the words clearly in her mind, hoping Vandal could hear her...

"Good." He shook his head no, he had absolutely no clue what he was doing. He was following through no matter what.
