"What is it? I thought you would kill anyone who got in your way?" Kai said calmly. He didn't care if Kanna had chosen to be with Sparda, he would somehow defeat Sparda. Kai walked around Sparda's arm and bent down by the blade, being careful not to touch it.
Kanna was staring at the blood on her hands. She was too shocked to cry. She looked up at Kai and Sparda. She slowly stood up and walked towards them.

Sparda's eyes grew red, he barked, "STAY AWAY!!!"

Kai ignored him and studied the blade closely. The blade had enormous power. Maybe even more than Sparda. He didn't dare touch it. He knew that the blade would probably kill him instantly. Instead he memorized every little thing on the blade.
Kanna had walked in between Sparda and Kai. She looked back and forth between them, unsure of who she should go to.

Sparda's shadow arms disappeared when they got close to the blade. Sparda fell to the ground unconsious, the vampire guards who were not in the battle wondered what to do.

When Sparda fell to the ground, Kanna ran to him. She saw he had all his energy drained and it seemed like something else was the matter. She looked at him, then at Kai and the blade. She wondered why Kai was able to be near it. She went to experiment. Kanna got up from Sparda's side and walked over to Kai. Once she was close enough to touch Kai, she was repelled back. Something had tried to destroy her. The blade!... Kanna thought. "Kai, don't you feel that?" Kanna asked backing away.
Kai saw Sparda fall. "I'm fine. It seems this blade can kill a vampire instantly if the vampire only touches it." He said fascinated. He always did like weapons that had a power to them. "I'm the only one who can get this close to it?" He said Kanna couldn't get near the blade, bt she could get closer then Sparda.

A master vampire walked up and grabbed it, "Kill a vampire instantly..... I don't think so, but it reacts to Sparda's blood how strange and how useful to take the throne."

Kai hissed at the vampire as he took the sword. Kanna backed away. Kai got ready to defend Kanna.
Kanna backed to Sparda's side. She didn't know why, she just did.

As the master vampire got nearer to Sparda, Sparda became weaker and started to puke out blood. The Master vampire laughed, "Who is high and mighty now..... prepare to rot in hell Lord Sparda." The master prepared to attack.

suddenly a shadow like figure jumped out of the darkness and landed near sparda. "Are you ok my master" said the figure. The figure asked sparda "do you want me to get you out of here master".

Sparda crawled toward the Master Vampire and smiled, "My (cough) backup plan..... SOKO!"

Soko quickly jumped toward the master and pulled out an ancient katana only known to the umada clan. The black viper blade. The only sword ever known to kill a master vampire and soko slashed at the demon yelling "stay away from my master".

Sparda got up and laughed, "Pathetic now you see i'm always one step ahead of you all." Sparda looked at Soko, "Good timing now to kill the traitor." Sparda looked at Leon, and then looked at Kanna, "Kanna decide now for we are invading soon."

"yes my master" soko said and quickly jumed toward leon, but suddenly stopped do to an evil aruora in the air

Kai jumped in front of Leon. He wasn't going to let his comrade die.
Kanna looked back and forth between Sparda and her brother, Kai.
Kai saw Kanna was confused. He smiled at her. "Kanna. Help us." He said.
Kanna started to take a step towards him, but stopped. She didn't want to leave her brother, but she also couldn't give up the power she had searched for, that Sparda had given her. She looked at Kai. "I'm sorry Kai." She said and walked to Sparda's side.
Kai was dumbfounded. his sister had chosen the side of the vampire they had searched to kill.
Saphira saw what was happening from a distance. Now she came and landed beside Kai. She looked at Kanna. "Kanna, remember that you now are no longer part of my masters family." She said.
