Saint_Oriel [Lmao. Sure thing.] Murphy blushed a darker red, stumbling backwards a little. Instinctively the wrapped his arms around Marie so that if he fell, he could protect her. His breathing sounded harsh and uneven, his heart pounding in his chest. Everythign seemed to slow down for him. It took him forever to blink, to gulp nervously. He could feel Marie's head against his throat, her hair tickling his mouth and nose. He was so aware of her small frame against his larger one, her warm body next to his. And he was also very, very aware of her clothes versus his lack thereof."L-looks like I forgot h-how to stand, a-haha..." Marie tried to laugh the situation off to hide the embarassment that glowed brightly on her face, neck, and ears. "I-I bet this position would l-look very s-strange to anyone e-else." God, she was trembling. Damn him and his nude sexy athletic body! "Y-yep, pretty awkward, ahaha..." Words kept spilling out like vomit. She just kept babbling nervously.

Murphy's eye twitched. Babbling often pissed him off. But he didn't hit Marie - oh, no. He did something he would have never done under normal circumstances. He kissed Marie's head and told her to shut her trap and relax. Very nicely, of course. And then he hugged her closer to him, stealing her warmth. [Because I'm cold and I imagine you to be very warm. eek ]

He kissed Marie's head and told her to shut her trap and relax. Very nicely, of course. And then he hugged her closer to him, stealing her warmth. [Because I'm cold and I imagine you to be very warm. eek ] "H-how can I relax when you're holding me like this...?" Marie whispered, closing her eyes. She could feel his nude body even more through her clothes now that Murphy was holding her properly. She felt hot, dizzy and faint, her breath coming out in puffs.

Marie blinked, finally looking Murphy in the face. His very red face.
"....pfft!" Marie clamped a hand over her mouth, trying desperatly not to laugh at their predicament.
She failed. Chuckling and giggling, Marie bent forward, holding her middle.
"Ah-hahaha! I-I'm sor-ry, haha, it's just so silly!" She wiped tears of mirth from her eyes and smiled. "It's a relief, you know? That I'm not the only one that feels out of sorts right now..."

Snowy Zombie "H-here!" Adam said, hoping that Shyla wouldn't notice his blush. He pulled off his jacket, which fell to the knees, and held it out. This left him in a drenched, plain white shirt and black pants, awkwardly looking off to the side. "It's wet, but servicable, your grace. Just- please, don't tell the king!" (dang i haven't been able to get on in a while. sry.)) Shyla flinched slightly and then relaxed as she realised he was just handing her his jacket. For a moment she thought he was going to hit her. She breathed a sigh of relief and took the jacket from him murmuring, "Thank you." She slipped it on and wrapped it around herself. Much better. She blushed deeper realising he had been blushing as well. "Don't worry. I won't tell the king. But can we go inside please? I would like to warm up."

Adam held out the crook of his elbow politely. The new queen was the kindest person he'd ever met, and gorgeous to boot! And she smelled like roses. Maybe that was the water in the fountain, or the smell of the trees, or maybe Adam's brains was just so futzed up by hormones, he made up the smell. But, still... Shyla. The future queen. And that brat the king would have her, curse the man!
(( Is this a sign that Adam does actually have a backbone? Only time will tell! ))

"You know what? Forget it. Ace can take care of himself." Cheshire growled before stomping towards the exit tree.
He still felt rather sore towards Rabbit for bringing up Jack. To tell the truth, he wasn't sure why it pissed him off so much. He remembered that Rabbit had gotten very cold all of the sudden and Jack had become quite the opposite. Why did it make his chest hurt to think about it...?
Cheshire was lost deep in his own thoughts as he walked out of the flower garden.
Suddenly he realized that he was walking towards where he could sense Rabbit's presents.
Cheshire frowned. He did not want to see that damn Rabbit now, so why was he walking toward him?
"...I wonder what Marie is doing." He muttered before slinking off to where he felt Marie's presents.

"Thank you." She murmured softly and nodded. "I would appreciate it." She reached out tentatively and slipped her arm though his, a faint blush still coloring her cheeks. "Umm, I'm not sure where it is exactly but I would like to go to my room. And maybe... if it's not too much trouble..." She mumbled slightly, looking down. "I'd like to take a warm bath. I would rather not catch cold." She glanced up at him and her eyes roved over his dripping clothes. She looked down once more and added, "It might be a good idea for you to do so as well. It would be remiss if you did not do so. I...I would feel very upset if you were to catch cold on my account. For you would not be in this state had you not jumped in after me." As she spoke she kept her eyes carefully averted from his.

"I know where your room is, never fear, my lady. I could show you how to find it if you'd like, all you have to do is find a pattern, and - well- who am I kidding, it's nearly impossible to find a pattern in this place!" Adam grinned. Not that he even found it remotely funny. He doubted Shyla would find it amusing. It was ridiculous. He was ridiculous.

FTW! Lmao.] The White Rabbit's right ear twitched. Damn that cat! He wanted nothing to do with him, nothing at all! And yet, at the same time, he wanted nothing more to be as close to Cheshire as he used to be, closer even. But Jack had gotten in the way of that. He blinked, suddenly realizing his pink eyes were tearing up. He would not cry. He would not cry! Not over that goddamn, stupid, malicious, irresistable cat!
