not really... when you read a book, you're not really experiencing anything but when the author goes into detail about events it helps you to remember it as if it happened to you but I doubt if you would want a lot of those experiences for real... or when you watch a movie/tv show & your favorite character dies, although if you were really into the show it may feel like it was happening to you, you aren't really experiencing it... you know they are dead but you are not (lol I know I didn't really have to explain that lol)
