Amanda watched Edward.He did move gracefully...it was insane. When he started to talk about Jacob it...worried her.
"what do you mean?...I thought they ate hotdogs and stuff...." she was slightly confused.

Edward laughed again, he had to hold his sides in fear that he'd burst or something along those lines.
"I love your sense of humor! It kils me!" Edward said through his laughter.
He laid back on her bed, still laughing his head off, though it really couldn't have been that funny, it was to him though. He hadn't laughed this hard since...well...he never really laughed this hard.

Amanda stood there slightly shocked. She was also Amazed by his luaghter.
"what?" she asked shocked. What did she say?

Edward gasped for breath, he wiped away the tears that welled up. He had laughed so hard that he was crying.
"Your humor! Werewolves don't eat hotdogs......" He smiled.

She was a little shocked "They dont? then what do they eat?" she smiled
She had chuckled lightly seeing him luagh. She had rotated her body to look at him.

Edward had to stiffle another laugh, he could feel it coming back. Instead, he covered it up with a smile. He reached out to her, placing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, exposing her face......and her neck. Edward felt the familiar pull and the drying of his throat, the venom that would never cease to fill him. He exhaled a shuddering breath.
"Everything else....like beautiful girls...." Edward told her, still staring at the flesh of her neck. He could see the pulses of her blood running through her veins. He had to get over this bloodlust if he was ever going to befriend her....get better control over it.

Amanda blushed three shades of red when he moved her hair. "seriously?" she asked. For some reason her voice seemed distant.
It wasn't untill after she realized that she was whispering.

Edward smiled, it was a tight smile but one either way. Her blood was still making him crazy....not able to think coherently.
"Yes, seriously....and I don't want that happening to you." Edward said, his voice strained from keeping himself from jumping on her and taking all of her sweet, hot, blood.
There was no way that he could do that....it would ruin everything and then his whole family would have to move away again...and there was no way that he'd move back to Alaska, that was just TOO cold.
"Amanda...I promise that I'll protect you if it's the last thing I do...right after I get over this whole bloodlusting thing."

Amanda smiled softly. She knelt her head down and let her hair drape over hiding her neck and face.
"Sorry..." she whispered.She hugged her knees to her chest.

Edward shook his head and moved her hair back to reveal her neck again.
"I'll have to get used to it sooner or later....I choose sooner." Edward stared at her neck, then up at her eyes....it was getting just a tad easier.
Something in her eyes made him...a little reckless. He decided to move forward....just slowly at first, wondering what in the right mind had possessed him to do something like this. Then he placed his hand under her chin and lifted her head up to kiss her lovingly, without holding back...well...much.

Amanda blushed three shades of red as he closed in on her. It didn't help that she blushed every time he was close or touched her.
But when he kissed her....it was like 'OMG!'. Her heart started to bang against her ribcage. SHe almost forgot to kiss him back..but thankfully she regained enough concious to do so.

Edward felt himself get lost in the kiss, he hadn't felt this peaceful since....well...he had actually never felt like this before. It was new to him and it was because of Amanda. Before he went too far he realized what he was doing and broke the kiss, getting up quickly to his feet before he had a chance to do anything stupid...well...stupider.
"I-I'm sorry....but...I can't...." Edward muttered, walking over to the wall, hoping that he still had some control over his actions.
He stared at the wall, then smacked his head on it.
"WHY!? I don't see this sort of thing happening with anyone else! Why me!?" Edward growled, clearly furious with himself.

Amanda fell backwords onto her bed.She was completley dazed. She put a hand over her heart. It wasn't a death wish like in the book. But it was still amazing.
She looked up at him. "Edward will you PLEASE stop beating yourself up..you just kissed me. Ifyou don't want me to take it personal..." notice the sadness in that..." then I wont.."

Edward sighed, even more frustrated with himself that he might have hurt her.
"Look....Amanda....if I was human...this situation would be different. I'd jump at the chance to be with you....but I can't. You have to see that I'm not good for you, too many things could and can go wrong." Edward turned to look at her, his eyes expressing his sadness.
"I might hug you one day and maybe break your spine. Say, one day I kiss you and break your face or something like that....Amanda, these things CAN happen....I don't have that much control when I'm around you."

Amanda nodded.She knew it would come to this. But she hoped not.
SHe sighed "well..alot of things that COULD happen..DID happen.but I'm still here...Im not going to stop you Edward." she bit her lip lightly "Your in charge of yourself not me...but I am saying..I've already had several brushes with death." she sat up letting her hair fall over her shoulders again.
