"Universe turned and spotted Lilly. He shook his head and went to her, taking off his cape and draping it over her. "Such a night to be sleeping..." He whispered to no one in particular.

She whimpered in her sleep and snuggled under the cape, a tear escaping her eye.

Universe sat next to her, offering what little warmth his body could. She looked sad. He frowned as he brushed away her tear. "I hope I have not caused that one...though it would only be one more to add to the many tears that I have caused to be shed..."

She moaned a bit then opened her eyes. she stared at him for several moments, seeming confused, then glared. "What are you doing here?"
