Jinx was confused a bit by her question. It was random at best, but he saw no reason to worry about it, unless she wanted to push him off of the roof, and she wouldn't be the first to try. His eyes darted around in the typical reaction when one is confused, "Uh, I guess I'll go," he said in an unconvincing voice, then trying to reassure her, "Of course I'll go." He was happy that she hadn't tried to run away from him again even though he had a sneaking suspicion that she believed he was the cause of her nightmare's intensity. He went to grab their towels, which were nearby, handed Moon Child's to her, and began to dry himself. The water on his body had started to cool off, and it had begun to get a little chilly in there for him.

Cole sank to the bottom of the pool as all the water drained. He lay on the bottom of the pool and began coughing when the water was finally away from his head. He sat up as water came up his throat and out his mouth as he coughed, coming out of his lungs. After a few moments of this he stopped and was just breathing heavily. "Sorry......sorry...." He apologized between breaths. "Didn't....realize how close....the edge was....."

Mae lay on one of the king size beds in Dorm Room 4, eyes closed. She was practicing summoning her vectors and releasing them, in a hope that this would become second nature to her. Mae hadn't gotten full control of her powers, but the excercise could help, so she wouldn't accidently put a large hole in the wall again. In her mind, she was kneeling on a hard wood floor. Raising her arms above her head, she clapped three times. Still keeping her arms raised, Mae moved them in a undulating motion. Suddenly, four large invisible arms, similar to hers, reached out from the floor and imitated her in the same motion. She was successful. Mae let her arms slowly drop to her sides and the vectors disappeared. Mae flicked open her eyes. She was back in her room, kneeling in the same pose on the bed. Slowly Mae surrveyed the room. Large black hand prints dotted the ceiling, hundreds of them. They were all over the walls too. Uh oh. Thats not good. Mae grimaced. What are they gonna say about this, I wonder.

Lulu crossed her arms across her chest, "You weren't sure how close the edge was!" She sighed and put her hand on his head carefully, "You don't have a fever but you just got out of the pool so that probably cooled you off." She looked over his body to make sure he wasn't scratched and then stood up herself. She put her hand out, "I have to fill the pool and with you on the floor it's kind of hard."

Toweling off Moon Child didn't mean to move slowly but in her mind she retraced the steps she had taken in her dream. From the stairs to the tower that over looked the garden she was curious. She had studied the layout of the school before arriving and apparently from what she had seen of it her mind had filled in the blank of what it looked like though some of the details were fuzzy. Though in her dream she died there she had no intention of jumping she was just curious. Looking at Jinx she smiled as she dried her hair , "Did you want to come too?" she asked Zerlina as she shook her head to make her hair stop sticking while she dried it. Almost lost in thought she tried to keep her grip on the world without losing the details of her dream. Looking to Jinx, "Ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," Jinx answered. He wrapped his towel around his waist to curb any drippage that might happen, then looked back up at Moon Child. He still hadn't puzzled out her sudden desire to go up onto the roof of the school. Did her dream have anything to do with the roof? he wondered, And if it is, then why in the world is she going up there? He didn't want to ask the questions he had, there was a good chance it was none of his business. He wondered what happened in her dream, but he didn't want to pry there either. He figured that the answer to his questions would likely be found once Moon Child got up onto the roof, so he waited patiently to see what would happen next.

((On vacation going to be scarce))
Moon Child held onto the towel but didn't bother to cover herself up. She was wearing a bikini it shouldn't really surprise anyone. Nodding to him she started to walk looking over her shoulder as if to see if he was still there. Heading inside the place looked familiar though she was sure she hadn't really seen it before. Only in the form of a map. Impatience urged her on from walking until she was unconsciously running following the steps she had seen before in her dream. Going ever higher she didn't stop until she had reached the highest level she could and seeing no way onto the roof she opened the window climbing out and onto the roof until she came to the spot she had seen in her dream. Over looking the garden it looked just as she had imagined it. It was beautiful but the phantom pain came with an eerie feeling of certainty. As if propelled by her mind she stood on the edge over looking the place her bare feet hanging off slightly.

Mae wandered around the corridor, wondering where everybody had gone. She hadn't seen a soul since she had arrived at the school. Hoping to find a sign of life, she meandered down to the lobby. Seeing no body, Mae headed over to the pool. She stopped in the doorway. Finally. Life. Mae watched the girl helping a boy out of the pool. Where is all the water? She shrugged. Not wanting to disturb them, Mae turned away, her red hair quietly stirring in the breeze. She passed by the lobby swiftly, and bounded up the stairs, not knowing why she was rushing. Again, when she arrived on the carpeted floor of the corridor, no one was there. Mae, having nothing to do, set off to the towers, where she often went to be alone and to think.

Cole glanced up at Lulu, breathing hard still, trying to fill his lungs up again with oxygen. "Sorry." He said once more as he took her hand. He stood and began to loose his balance, put quickly caught himself. He glanced over at the latter which was about at his shoulder level at the moment since he was in the deep end. He took in a deep breath before walking over to it. He jumped up and grabbed the second to last wrung in his fist. He then pulled his entire body, the muscles in his arms flexing as he did so. He brought his knee up to the latter and brought his other leg up so that he could put his foot on the latter as well. He climbed up the rest of the latter and sat down on the edge of the pool.

Luna kind of exploded at the point of the boy getting to the top of the ladder. She changed into a huge tap and turned on the water flow. All the pool water had been sitting inside her body till this point so it felt so good to get rid of it, kind of like when you haven't peed in 2 hours after the point of bursting. When all the water was in the pool she changed back to a human and fell a good 5 feet in to the pool. After she hit the bottom of the pool she came back up and climbed out of the same ladder the boy had, "So hows about I learn your name so I'm not calling you, 'that boy.'"

Cole sat at the edge of the pool, leaning against his arm which was behind him. "Name's Cole." He said as he looked up at her. "You?"

Luna smiled at Cole, "Cole huh? Well I'm Luna, but you can call me that or Lulu. I can see your a mutant like me, but besides turning your arm black what are your powers?" She looked at him with her head to one side, her hand out to shake his, and a soft smile on her face.

Cole stared at her hand for a moment before slowly extending his to take it. He shook it lightly before looking back up at her. "Luna or Lulu, eh? Well, I'll show you. I'm afraid I may end up disappointing you. It's nothing much really, besides what you've already seen." As he finished speaking, he withdrew his hand and shifted to his shadow form. He wasn't three dimensional this time, so he just looked like a shadow on the floor. He shifted the way he looked so that he looked like Luna's shadow instead of his own. He then went back to his own and seemed to rise up off the floor as his body took on the shape of his normal body, only with glowing, almost hollow white eyes. "That's pretty much it." Came his voice, slightly different from his usual voice. When he was in this form and he spoke, he seemed to hiss each word. He never quite understood the reason why, but it aided in frightening everyone who saw him this way. "I call this either my shadow form or shadow matter. I can shift to look like something else if I wish. I'm also...well...." He said as he held up his hand. "....not entirely solid this way." He said as he put his hand on her shoulder, it passing through it slightly. "But I can manipulate which areas of my body are solid. Like....I can put all the solidity into my hand while the rest of me has none. It allows me to be able to walk through things like this." He added before stepping through Luna. He stopped and turned, shifting back to his normal form. "That's it."

Lulu followed him when he was on the floor, and closed her eyes when his hand went through her shoulder a bit, then she gasped when he walked completely through her, "WOW! That felt...." She didn't know how to explain it, "Like we became one but cool and creepy at the same time." She jumbled up all her words and closed her eyes to think of how to rephrase that, "It was cool and creepy at the same time, but more cool than creepy." All she could hope was that he didn't hear the first sentence, so she kept her fingers crossed behind her back, "You look so different and sound a bit different too. Why would you think I'd be disappointed?"

Cole shrugged with a small smile. "I don't know. I've been able to do that for so long now that it's become second nature to me, you know? It just doesn't seem all that spectacular to me, so....I don't know." He shrugged once more. He thought about what she said. That it was cool and creepy at the same time. He couldn't help but laugh at that. He had used his ability to creep people out in the past and most of the time, it worked. But then again, they usually had no idea he could do anything like that either.
