"I know," Kiku spoke in a somewhat cold voice. "That's because you were late and I had to get it for all three of us." The Hyuuga, because she wanted nothing to do with her family, relaxed and stood up a bit straighter. "By the way, your branch is about to break."
Kiku relaxed her byakugan and looked around for a better place they could move to. The Inuzuka would have to find them himself, because she was not about to go on a wild goosechase for his a**. Or hers, she honestly didn't know. But that might have been due to her lack of attention in class.

"I was not late, ya." Kaede snapped defensively, green eyes hardening. So this is one of my teammates then... a Hyuuga? Joy of all joys. She closed her fans with a sharp fwph and, using the last vestiges of springiness from the branch, catapulted into the air. Arching her back, she summersaulted once and landed neatly on a thicker branch closer to the Hyuuga and, noting her teammate's searching eyes, jerked her head in the direction of a tree overrun by strangler fig; the tree inside had pretty much rotted away, leaving a twisted hollow interior. "I was held back a bit. I don't know where our other teammate is, though, ya." It seemed she had a sort've vocal tic; it could have been irritated to most people.

Kiku actually grinned at this, well, more of a smirk. At least she had a good eye for hide-aways. And her little tic was...artsy. As was her excuse.
"He can sniff us out," Kiku spoke softly. "Here, I'm sure you know about the scroll. So that's ours...I think we should..." Kiku whispered the plan out to her teammate. "If the Inuzuka doesn't show up soon, I don't care if he knows the plan or not."
((I'll PM our plan to ya))

Yeah, you probably would. Mai thought, answering Ibaraki, even though she knew he couldn't read minds.
"Hmm? Oh.. let's see. Just about anyone uses explosives. But dumb, or confident, enough to use them in a silent forest like this...." She thought for a moment.
"Probably Kiku Uzumaki," Mai looked at Jubei, "Or one of the other villages."
Mai thought about it again, then nodded.
"Probably Kiku."

Kaede chose a higher knot in the strangler fig by her new teammate, staying mostly hidden in the shadows by patchy orange lichen. She perched on the balls of her feet, leaning most of her weight forward so she stayed balanced. She looked pensive as the plan was explained to her, green eyes hooded, then she nodded. "Got it, ya." ((Ten-four.))

"I thought she was quiet?" Ibaraki asked confused.
Kiku sneezed then, from her location miles away. She kept it quiet, more of a mouse sound than anything else. And surprisingly cutesy.
"Someone's talking about me..." she mumbled wiping tears from her eyes.

Kaede blinked twice. "Well, considering where we are, I reckon that's not a good thing, ya." The kunoichi remarked, rocking back on her heels, snapping open one of her fans and fluttering it beneath her chin. Her dark blonde hair flipped across her forehead with the movement. "Unless they're coming to us with the kind of scroll we need. Then I s'pose that's a good thing, ya~nyr..." She yawned. The last time she slept, it was in a tree, and her father woke her up in a rather unpleasant way...

Kiku raised a brow.
"I rather doubt that, It's probably just by brother talking about me. That reminds me, we do not want to try the plan on them. There's two other Hyuuga in this forest right now and a set of Uchiha siblings." Kiku glanced over at her team mate, "besides haven't you ever heard that old saying, about when people talk about you, you sneeze?"

"Your brother? In'e in this exam too, ya?" Kaede laced her fingers together and stretched out her arms above her head, her back arching as her spine creaked almost audibly. "If I had a brother, I'd still be worrying if he talked about me, ya, though, whether they are against us or not." Jeez, more Hyuuga and the Uchiha. Makes you feel kinda small as an Aburame... She turned her expressionless gaze up to the ragged circle of blue above her head, squinting up at the sun, continuing to fan herself. "I reckon we outta find some weak Genin 'fore they find us, ya."

Mai looked to him, and laughed.
"She is. Too quiet, for me. But, it was her, I'm guessing. Maybe one of her team mates finally showed up? Or maybe someone gave her a scare?" Mai suggested, confusing herself.
"I do believe the Aburame and the Inuzuka are on her team." She informed them.

clara33 You're reading my post,
Ryu looked at her comrades and felt like sighing heavily. Why did she get stuck with her sister and a useless extra?
When you could be outside, doing something else. Kira clenched her fists. She didn't want to be on a team with Ryu, especially considering they hated each other.

71% wanted the squad leaders availible for control!
So, after the Chunin Exam, Second Trial, we will be accepting Jonin.
I will start recruiting them now, so they will be there for your squads in the Third Trial.
Until then, play nice kiddies!

"Agreed," Kiku nodded. "Any genin will be back by the entrance though or making a straight line for us. Lucky for us we're already chunin and jounin, but unfortunately, there's one of them running about."
Itwas odd that Kiku only ever talked this much when alone with her team.
"So, do we head back and start taking them down now, or do we wait for them to run into us?"
"Haha! Her get spooked?" Ibaraki laughed. "Oh that's funny. Oi, Jubei, does your sis get spooked easy?"

"Hhhmmm..." The only clue that Kaede was giving this matter more thought than she gave those easy questions on the exam was that sigh, her vocal chords buzzing with the soft musical note she held on the 'hmmm'. She continued to watch the sky emotionlessly, looking eerily like her father as she snapped her fan shut. "I reckon we should wait. That way, when the little Genin get here, they'll be out of breath and we could set up a trap or something, ya." The kunoichi hooded her eyes. "I also guess they wouldn't want to strike before the time is right. I would think they'd want to keep a low profile 'til 'tis good."
