Ayame saw the opening to the pavillion soon after she felt the differant ground surface beneath her feet. "Finally...." She breathed setting the plant down near the center or so of the pavillion. She turned back to Touka and smiled, "I thought i'd never make it....." She said laughing.
Looking around free of her plant burden. It still amazed her the beauty of the Senju Open Pavillion. It was possibly the most favourite thing of her clan. Though the moukuton had its advantages it wasnt the wood element that amazed her it was the beautiful plant life it spawned.
------------------------------ Carrying the Potted Plant Touka has requested if Ayame can help carry the smaller potted belladonna with her to the Open Pavilion. But it's quite far, and the plant is not that light, even though it looks by far lighter in comparison to the mother... Ah well. At least if it gets too heavy, Ayame can put the plant down for a few moments and rest before resuming the task. DC: 10 1d20 + Strength Successes: 5/5

((You can put that up in the Experience thread. =]))
Even though it was nighttime, the heavy, sweet scents of the pavilion garden filled the senses. If their fingertips brushed against the darkly emerald leaves, the dewy moisture would cling to the fingertips, cold in this cool night. Touka placed her pot down, disappeared for a moment, and returned with four shovels, two large and two smaller, more refined tools for repotting purposes...and she showed Ayame an open space that was meant for the bigger plant before gesturing a few rows down, where there was an open space among the smaller plants. "Would you help me repot?"
Repotting the Belladonna Touka has requested if Ayame could help her repot the smaller belladonna into the garden while she does the same for the larger plant. First, a decent-sized hole must be dug in the garden grounds. DC: 10 1d20 + Strength mod. 0/3
Now that the hole for the plant is dug, it has to be removed from the pot. Use the shovel to help free the plant (soil, roots, and all) by placing the scapel against the insides of the pot. Be careful though! The plant roots must avoid damage. Once the plant is freed from the pot, all that needs to be done is to place it in the garden ground's hole and fill up with the extra soil any gaps that had resulted from digging. Ayame grinned, "Of course Touka-chan" she said then walked over to the small pot plant picking it up and moving it to the row where the open space. She made her way back to the four shovels taking one of each and going back to her plant. "Touka-chan... " Ayame paused before continuing her sentence, "Thank you..." She said choosing rather to say something else than say what she'd origionally wanted to ask.
Choosing the larger spade of the two she'd selected she began digging the hole for the belladonna. She made sure that she was concerntrating on what she was doing not letting her mind wander in the slightest. Ayame felt most at home when she was surrounded by nature but that wasnt muh surprising but it was who she was and that wasnt going to change anytime soon. Plants were in her nature, so to speak.

Ayame smiled, this was definately something she could enjoy if her Shinobi Training permitted it. Replotting the belladonna, she knew wouldnt be an easy task as it looked to Ayame a plant that was quite stubborn. But aswell as looking stubborn it also looked delicate. Ayame chose to take the most gentle course of action she could manage.
If someone were to ask what her favourte plant was she wouldnt be able to give them a direct answer. She loved plants as a whole but she took a particular preferance to flowers but that was maybe because her namesake was a flower. A thought then crossed her mind, maybe once she learnt the basic jutsus that are required for gennin she could modify them to incorporate the flowers she loved so much. She would have to ask touka about it sometime.

Ayame had let her mind wander and hand started reshovelling the dirt she'd already taken out but as she realised this she laughed, I will have to do mind concerntration excersises so as not to get distracted... She thought putting the shovel of dirt back on the small pile. Intent on succeeding in this task she made herself concerntrate and started shovelling the dirt she'd accidently bumped back into the hole when her mind had wandered.
When that was all clear she began to widen the hole slightly preparing to make it the proper size for the small plant she was to pot. With the thought of in essence modifying a jutsu to one she personally would be able to use made her all the more anxious to start jutsu training. Everytime a distracting thought came to her mind she pushed it back intent to complete her task to the best of her ability.

The hole was almost at the right size for the plant. Ayame thought for a minute before continuing to dig. The hole looked about the right width but it needed to be deeper. Ayame still thinking about the jutsus couldnt help asking the question she was saving for jutsu training, "Touka-chan... I have a question I dont know how to answer...." She left the sentence hanging wandering if the girl replanting the mother belladonna would answer the question she posed. "is it possible for jutsus... say Bushin no Jutsu to be made solely of flowers?" Ayame had continued to dig as she posed this question to the older girl.

"You can use any material you wish." Replied Touka. "Theoretically, I heard Oto made a variation of our Kage Bunshin technique using only air. Never seen it though." She finished, accompanied by a slight shrug. "But anyhow, petals won't be much use, wouldn't it? Zephyr-sama only favors using wood for the Bunshins, particularly because these are the only Bunshins in the world who can recover their lost chakra. They root directly to the ground and use photosynthesis to recover lost energy."
She looked thoughtful. "But that Anzu was making some Flower Escape Technique. He prefers more appearance rather than overall purpose. So I suppose you could try talking to him, if you wish." A pause. "As far as flowers go, that pretty much just falls under our family's jurisdiction. Growing any poisonous plant of choice and such...once, during a Sakura Festival ten years ago, Zephyr-sama merely clapped and a shower of flowers fell from the sky."
A soft pause. "There is...another technique...a Genjutsu favored by our village...if combined theoretically with such a Bunshin...well, hear me out then. That illusion scatters petals that makes the opponent think his or her skin and flesh is being burned away when the petals touch them, as acid would. If you combine it with a Bunshin technique of a similar type..." Her voice trailed off. "It'll help further your chances of the opponent not discovering that it is merely a Genjutsu." A pause. "Attack capability-wise, I do not think it will be very effective. But if you work it correctly, you would have an excellent defensive technique..."

The time had come for Ayame to remove the plant from its pot and into the ground. The hole was the right size but now came the delicate work. She listened to Touka very carefully noting as much as she could. She considered it invaluable information. "Thanks Touka-chan you'v given me much to think about" Ayame said smiling at the girl.
Taking a deep breathe she placed the shovel she was using in the place of the smalled one and looked at the small one for a while as she considered the least risky way to avoid damaging the plant roots. She went about edging the blade of the shovel along the edges to loosen the soil so it would make removing the plant eaiser.

Ayame was concerntrating on her task. Not even stray thoughts deterred her from what she was doing. The soil was almost competely loosened. Now all she needed to do was get the plant out the pot and into the ground. Easier said that done was an expression that momentairily flashed through her mind. Taking a deep breath she she started leveling each side of the plant making sure she applied only enouh pressure to life the plant rather than sever it.

Ayame hand managed to lift the soil without doing damage to the plant in the least. Slowly she put the pot on it's side the plant facing the ground which was were they were planted. slowly easing out the Belladonna from its pot she did this very slowly rolling the pot every not and again gently so as not to disturb the plant too much. It was tense work replotting a plant but Ayame trusted herself that she could do it and she wouldnt let herself tell her otherwise. Concerntration was probably the most important key to this whole process

The plant refused to be taken out its pot it seemed. Within the process of rolling the pot gentle to get the plant out she had rolled the pot right over onto her foot pinning it between the floor and the pot. Ayame gasped and wriggled her foot out from under the pot. THat would hurt in the morning. She again started rolling the pot again this time making sure she didnt roll it onto her foot again.
Ayame knew there were accidents bound to happen thoughout the path of the ninja but that at the current moment wasnt what she worried about. Her task was to repot the belladonna though it in truth didnt lend much to her as a ninja it would however assist her in the plant identification she would use in future for possible herbs, poisons etc... in her missions as a shinobi. Returning her mind back to the pressent she began again to concerntrate on finnishing the task at hand.

Ayame noticed that this method wasnt working so she with one hand holding the pot steady reached for the small shovel with the other. Her foot was still paining somewhat from the pot rolling over her foot and she wasnt sure if it was beginninf to swell or what. now armed with a shovel she went and carefully 'teased' the plant to slide out the pot. Hr thoery was that there was a root that had stuck well and truly to the side of the pot. Morning would be soon and though time seemed to fly passed Ayame had wither been busy 'day dreaming' away the hours or carrying or repotting the plant for Touka. Taking a deep breathe she turned her mind back to the delicate proceedures of repotting the plant

Touka too, in her side of the pavilion gardens, was digging with her spade...but she cracked the soft earth easily with one blow, before using her fingers to shape out a nicely well-rounded hole. It was amusing how the aristocratic Senju family did not mind rough gardening work...it was one of the joys in their life after all. Hyuuga family probably would sneer to see the royal family now, garbed in peasant clothing (simple yukatas) and having the moist soil stain their hands and skin... But even if Touka did not inherit their Mokouton limit, she loved the earth...the scent of freshly dug-up earth and the crisp scent of grass...
"You can feel it even more than I, right...?" Whispered the royal branch member. "The breathing whispers of the plants...no...of all of the *Great Mother (Earth/nature)..." Smiling, Touka stopped digging long enough to address Ayame. "Some may think it's a curse...like the Fujiko royal family of Ame who could hear spirits..." She was referring to the more shamanic gifts of the Senju family. "They did say...that long ago, our family were onmyōjis...hunters who could tame, seal away, and even kill demons..."

Ayame wasnt sure what Touka was talking about in truth but when the girl spoke about sensing mother earth she did realise that she could infact detect another sense of life in the pavillion, several thousand lives to be exact. "Planting is a first for me... In havent learnt more than what i was meant to know as a child... You know how it is like probably better than i..." She said to her companion refering to the internal politics that exsisted in all clans.
She had felt the plant give way a little so she continued on with this method of 'teasing' out the plant to put in the ground. She looked at Touka briefly then continued to get the plant out of its pot.

Touka looked thoughtful. "I wouldn't say it's something learned..." She said, slowly. "For those of us who are not gifted with Mokouton Creation, that would be true...this will then be something we learn over the years...but if taking ototou's word..." When her younger brother, Senju Haru, first realized he could "sense" things that was not normal for other children...he had been terrified... "It's...well...one of the first steps to unlocking Mokouton Creation..." Gently, Touka brushed her fingers against the darkly emerald leaves of her belladonna. "Understanding is the first step, after all...before you are able to have the *Great Mother aid you..." To utilize nature's children as weapons...that was the gift of the Senju line. "The very land is our clan's weapon...so thus we are charged to keep Konoha safe..."
