Ashe watched as the two walked into the hold. She waited a little bit and was about to enter when the ship started to rock. She slid on the deck towards the railings on the side. Grabbing hold of one she steadied herself and looked about. "Strange, only the water around the ship is churning..." Then the rain started. "Not good." She made her way back to the hold and walked in, noticing the darkness. She stopped for a moment and heard noises coming from the other end of the room. She made her way over there and found a ladder. The ship lurched again and she fell through the whole where the ladder stood. And nearly landed on someone. "Sorry," she said, looking up. "Oh, the man from the roof!" she blushed a bit. "Fancy meeting you here." She got up and looked around.

"Wait." Jessica said as he moved toawrds the ladder. "What's that?" she asked, pointing to the orb in the corner. She had saw it out of the corner of her eye right when the ship started to rock.

Riley jumped. "Oh, hey, it is you. Whaddya know." he said casually. "Question, how's the weather up there?" he asked, then he heard Jessica talk. "What's what?" Riley asked, looking at the orb. He walked over, putting a hand over it. There was a loud crack of thunder outside and the ship lurched violently, and it stopped as soon as he let go. "Something dangerous, something magical...I don't want nothing to do with it." he said casually.

"Oh come on Riley! You really have no sense of adventure do you?" Jessica asked. She looked at the orb. "Well, if its dangerous and magical it could be worth a fortune....but then again, its dangerous..." she said quietly, then looked at the other girl. "Who's you friend Riley?" she asked curiously.

Riley shrugged, shifting through his bag. "Remember back at the inn I said someone nearly ran into me on the roof? That's her." he said simply, pulling out his gold bars. "Here, keep this in your bag." he added, walking over to the orb. Moving carefully, he picked up the whole thing from the base, reading the inscription. "Those who seek power shall find it, those who have wishes will see them granted. Embrace it, and it shall be yours..." he read off it.
[Q to Reyl, what exactly would happen if I took this?]

"Pleased to meet you." Ashe said, nodding her head towards the other woman. She then looked up to the man, "Wet. But it's only raining over this ship." She saw the orb, reached into her bag, and pulled out a folded sketch of the orb and statures. "So that's it," she said, eyes glittering with excitment. She had the orb in her grasp, but it gave off a strange feeling. "That's an odd inscription. It sounds as if it will give its owner unlimited happiness, but doesn't metion anything about a price."

Riley laughed. "Price? This thing could fetch thousands on it's own, it's so well carved. Being magical, even more money. But if we knew what it does, it could be worth a ton..." he said, staring at it. The back of his mind started working, and it was telling him that there was probably a bad side to it. Sort of like it would have to take something to make it work.

Ashe walked up to the orb, her eyes glittering. She fingered the stature of the women. "It's so smooth..." She then went to look at the orb and studied it. "It's flawless. No wonder the person said he'd pay handsomely. With this job done I could quit this life and live above the law. Or I could just keep it and sell it myself." She ran a hand softly over it and sighed. It truly was beautiful. She looked back over at the man. "Judging from the description is that it grant wishes."

Riley nodded, putting his hand on the orb. "Yeah, you could, but the claim's ours." he said bluntly. It was true. An ideal held between the thieves around the city, especially the guild like thing Riley was in, is that the first person to reach an object has full claim to it. "So, that means me and Jessica get to pick who does what, no?" he added with a grin. He had plans for this. He didn't believe in the supernatural, so he decided he would sell it.

Nightwind-Dragon (since the person I've been talking to has been gone far to long... I'll just move right along with my plan) (Sorry about that, I was busy with band camp and school's starting soon so I haven't been on and didn't get a chance to warn anyone because I haven't been near a computer. I'll read more of what I missed and come back into the RP when I can. Again, sorry!)

Reyl Duskfire
Ezeiekel looked to the gray sky for a moment before looking back to the young woman. The prospect of clothes was his main priority but if he wanted to find a tailor he knew he'd have to bend to the will of his guide. He nodded in agreeance.
" I guess, but walking around the city with no shirt a sword and a young woman might seem a little suspicious. The city gaurds might think I'm some sort of kidnapper." he said joked.
"But where ever we're going can we make it fast? I try and make it a point not to stay half naked for long periods of time around people I just met."

Delaney's eyes widened and she blushed deeply. She had asked on impulse without thinking about the question and the stranger was right. The two of them walking about might seem more suspicious than she'd ever considered.
Mentally backtracking, she flailed her arms a little and gave a quiet, embarrassed giggle. "No, no. You're right. It was nothing important anyway," she spoke fast, obviously flustered. I'm such an airhead, she added to herself.
"Luckily the tailor isn't so far away now," she said simply, trying to cover the embarrassment. By now the pair had walked past where the ships were docked and were rounding a corner, up a hill toward a gate. The tailor was just out of sight. And luckily enough, as well, as the rain was beginning to pick up from a few sprinkles to a steady, light fall.

"Great now I get to decide on something big?" Jessica said with a sigh. She looked at the orb and read the writing. "Well, she's right, it seems to grant wishes...." she said, then looked at Riley, saw the look on his face, and sighed. "No Riley, your not just going to sell it, not until we figure out how powerful this thing may be." she said. She thought for a moment, pacing around the room as she did. "The orb said 'Those who seek power shall find it, those who have wishes will see them granted. Embrace it, and it shall be yours' what if it fell into the wrong hands, like someone who wants world domination and what-not?" she asked after a minute, "Then money would be nothing, they would probably kill us all anyways." She had a very vivid idea of what could and what couldn't happen.

The thought hit Riley like a ton of bricks. "You're right. All types of characters hit pawn shops all the time. Who knows what could happen with it..." he started, looking up at his companions. He looked into each of their eyes, trying to guess a true intention with this, but it was impossible. So, he waited, seeing what would happen next. Suddenly, the knife up his sleeve felt colder, as if to tell him it was still there.
