Khuul smiled at the lorde his fangs barred sinisterly. "One should not ignore me." He waved his free hand around in front of himself his clawed fingers forming gestures his mouth making words of the Fey tongue. Fire and ice were his to command.
The area around him started to form fog ice cold water particles. Once he stopped the small cloud had expanded lowering itself to the lava crackling as it touched. Soon the area of the area was cold as the magical fog cooled the lava quickly.
Khuul charged closer to the Lorde knowing from his instincts which one he was. The lycanfairy braced the butt of his mammoth crossbow and fired Inferno, sending four armour piercing bolts per second towards him. The crystal veins glowed as they worked to make every single bolt hit, one of a few abilities it had.
He howled in delight as he prepared to change clips, the cylinder carrying fifty bolts at a time. This was about the only way he could help from that distance.

In a moments notice the 4 tiny bolts were all of a sudden twisted and fired off in 4 random directions away from Inferno by an unseen force and a familiar voice to Infeno and Light would be heard speaking to Khuul. "Geez.. You should just leave em alone it looks personal." The Vaste Lorde appeared in Khuuls path while scratching his head then strecthing out his neck collar while letting out a small chuckle. "Hey don't tell anyone I'm here though hehe, I am not supposed to be here but I couldn't let you sneak attack either" The Vaste Lorde began to scratch the back of his head and laughed again, It seemed he had not weapon and he had a very distinguishing necklace with a cross red emblem upon it that seemed to greatly resemble the top of a trident which was a three ponged spear.

((@Khuul, this post is for you giving you a little information on Inferno's lava. But if you read my next post after this, you will no longer have to worry about my lava.))
Khuul was foolish to think Inferno's lava was just lava. The lava Inferno used was beyond 'normal' lava, in many ways. One, it was faster, two, reached well over 3,000 degrees, and that is only the surface levels. It isn't heated by it's self, and just hot. It was made using superheated plasma, which meant one thing for Khuul's 'magical' fog. Inferno's lava couldn't be effect by simple ice techniques nor was it possible to form water particles anywhere near the lava due to the temperatures and water just evaporating on the spot. This meant cooling Inferno's lava was nearly impossible, and with Inferno now a Vaste Lorde, his power and mastery of lava reached a new peek.
The lava that Khuul tried to cool wouldn't cool at all, meaning he wasn't walking on anything solid and possibly could fall into the lava it's self. Plus Kaien, the other Vaste Lorde had stopped his tiny bolts and would prevent any interferences between Light and Inferno's battle. Khuul was going to pay for his arrogance. Since the lava wasn't cooled, this meant Khuul would be in danger for advancing forward. Anyone who knew Inferno knew how dangerous his lava was capable. Khuul would have only moments to get out of the way before either the other Vaste Lorde (Nejis Divinity Byakugan) would deal with him or Inferno's lava act accordingly. Another thing that made Inferno dangerous, was he is a master of the fire element, and was strong against water element techniques. How was this possible? It was because of Inferno's special abilities. If Khuul wanted to test this, he was more than welcomed.
Inferno stood there, awaiting Light's decision...

In an instant Light was thrown back from Inferno as what seemed like a train had collided with him at full speed, his transparent armor indeed shattering from the overwhelming strength of Inferno's released state. He rocketed back and through one building while the neighboring building abruptly put an end to his flight. Seconds went by and he was already so far away from the arena yet he could hear Inferno's words clearly. Of all the things that he was tuning out, Inferno's voice was the most dominant thing to hit his senses. Even when the blood ran down the side of his head and stained the ground in crimson, Light could only hear Inferno's words.
A tool? More power? Those words meant nothing to Light. This half-angel had much larger views of the world than simply regarding beings as powerful or not. Light didn't particularly care if Riverrun itself was taken over or destroyed. It wasn't even his concern but he fought for it anyway. Not because someone told him to. It was all his own decision. Just as fighting against Inferno was his own decision.
"What the hell do you know..."
Light muttered as he stood back up slowly. Fuuinshin had landed next to him and added an additional crack within the wall behind him. He'd wrap his right hand around the hilt of his weapon before staggering upwards to glance through the hole in the building before him. Inferno was merely a speck of flickering light in the distance as Light looked ahead. The rest of his vision expanded as he realized it was blurry moments ago. His other senses seemed dulled too but they were coming back. He could feel the aftershock of Inferno's last attack subside as he stepped forward and grinned.
"I didn't ask you to save me. That was...That was all you. Your choice."
The half-angel climbed through the hole his impact had made as the blood from his head wound had even stopped flowing. He was no longer within range of Inferno's Hell Fire or Chaos energy so his own powers were healing his physical wounds as he approached the arena once again. It wasn't long before he was at the edge of what used to the be the Arena entrance. The floor was now replaced with a large pool of lava again which he could no longer feel a connection to. This was fine, though since he had little use for it right now anyway.
"Inferno. I wanted to save you since you are my friend and comrade. Remember we started out as enemies once. So much time has passed since then. Now look at us...again we oppose each other. But I wonder if it's because we're so different now...or something else."
As he spoke, Fuuinshin had been steadily glowing with a white aura. Inferno would even notice that his own lava seemed to be growing dimmer in color. His lava as well as everything else around him. The whole area was growing darker by the second. Light had sacrificed a portion of his former abilities to hone the skills he already had. That included his mental capabilities. His concentration on his element was phenomenal once he put his mind to it. Electromagnetic waves were everywhere and would provide the half-angel with more than enough energy. The now ruined arena was being devoured by a pitch darkness as Fuuinshin steadily hummed louder. It wasn't just the arena now that was being consumed in darkness. The streets of Riverrun were now becoming hard to see as the half-angel's grin had curved down to a disappointed frown. His eyes that had been flashing gold were swirling with malevolence as the locked on to Inferno's figure.
"Hero, Villan, Weakness, Power, Darkness, & Light. They're all two sides to the same coin. You'll understand that soon."
Without warning Inferno would suddenly be wrapped within an abysmal white light that seemed to erupt from his own body. He would only see white around him no more. If the Vaste Lorde didn't have any organs then there would be no way for Inferno to have felt the effects of so much EM radiation build up inside of him. From the every side as well as the inside, Inferno's body would be incinerated to virtually nothing. But since his life was not connected to this world he would no doubt be sent back to Hueco Mundo. What Inferno had seen around Fuuinshin was the most simple and basic of all illusions. It was simply a visible one that would mislead one into thinking Light was gathering energy for himself. Instead it had all gathered within Inferno and would now force it's way out and shoot up towards the sky. The lava around Inferno would be pushed back by the force of the blast as Light pushed his shades up to protect his own eyes from the light.

Inferno would stand there as he felt an unknown power surge though him, as he looked up, it was as if he had eye beams of white light. When he opened his mouth, another beam and within seconds, Inferno was lost before his lava was pushed back but then would disappeared in the blink of an eye. After the light has subsided, nothing was left. Inferno was gone, and his lava as well. There was a giant crater in the middle of where their battle took place. Khuul, Takehitsu, Halibel and even Kaien and Light himself would be able to see how much lava there really was judging by the size of the tremendous crater that was now there. Light had defeated Inferno and sent him packing back to where he belongs. Or did he?
Suddenly the ground underneath Light exploded without warning, as Inferno was raising up though the falling rumble. Inferno was indeed very much alive, after allowing Light to think he had gotten the best of Inferno. What happened? Inferno's body was a void, and at first noticed of Light's counter attack he reached out his arms and quickly pulled back in all of the lava. No doubt another new ability. Inferno would pretend to let Light believe he had the upper hand, he knew Light all too well and that Light would attempt something like this. Too bad Inferno insides were lined with Negacion. Inferno also used the lava that he pulled within himself that was still applying Negacion to add to that. It was a clever trick by Light should have known about the lining of Negacion after he and Inferno teamed up against Barragan. Part of Inferno's body was steaming as he landed on solid ground.
Inferno looked emotionless now, for the inner struggle seemed to have settled. The Inferno Light knew believed in honor, and wouldn't regret saving his life. The Inferno in front of Light was clearly not Inferno, but just another Vaste Lorde. Was there a way to somehow freeing the once Prize Fighter's soul? Was this change permanent? Inferno was not one for social groups but those he had befriended throughout the years, would know of Inferno loyalty. Light, Rorek, Takehitsu, and even David. For him to attack a fellow comrade in such a manner, meant his will had been broken somehow. Inferno, looked at Light as though his eyes, nothing but malice and malevolence intent. The new Inferno detested Light, a false reason of reason laid within him now. Corrupted by his own power given to him though death.
Inferno before, knew his limits and wouldn't abuse his power. Inferno before, would never let his life be ruled by another. So many signs pointed that Inferno was truly lost as a Vaste Lorde. "You have debts ....that must be paid!"

Light smirked in amusement at the sight if Inferno once again. He should have known that his old comrade wouldn't go down that easily. After fighting alongside of him for so long it was only to be expected. Of course Light had indeed prepared for that. It was clear that things would no longer be the same between the Inferno and Light unless a miracle or something beyond their control intervened. So Light didn't hesitate to dash forward as he now held Fuuinshin in both hands. That hum before that came from Fuuinshin was real unlike the light the illusion aiding his attack. Light showed no trace of remorse as he closed in on Inferno.
What happens when someone starts swinging a heavy sword they've used all their life with both arms? Inferno was about to find out if he didn't take any action against Light who would slash Fuuinshin down from his right and to the left in a diagonal arch. But that humming Inferno would hear would be a small amount of spiritual energy making the sword vibrate. Although when he approached Inferno would hear and probably feel energy from above him rush down towards him. The very same beam of light from before was now shooting back down towards Inferno!
Light could not transform into any higher forms his energy could instead become more potent and he could more efficiently harness it. Granted he used a chunk of energy to form and manipulate the large beam of light coming for Inferno but there was plenty of fight left. Although without his Stardust armor Light would have to be even more careful now. Especially if he was charging Inferno while his last attack came back from above.

Inferno and Light knew more than just their techniques and signatures, they were a team at one time. Both of them stood on equal foundation from one another, and as a team they covered each other strengths and weaknesses. Making them nearly unstoppable, even for a beings such as the Vaste Lordes. Inferno could hear Light's weapon hum before something sparked in the back of his head. Inferno senses were picking up the beam of light that had gone up into the sky coming straight down upon him. What goes up must come down they always say. Inferno would jump forward after Light. Inferno knew all to well what it meant to have two hands on a weapon like Fuuinshin.
The might behind it's attack would be incredible, and even at his level not something to play around with. Inferno knew that Light's weapon would be packing spirit energy as well, but how much? Inferno used his fire rocket during his jump to blast away from the light beam and towards Light. Inferno's right arm would form into a weapon of his own. As Light also knew, when a Vaste Lorde drew his weapon that Lorde's power was capable of reaching beyond the limiters. Inferno wasn't at that point yet for he knew Light, like himself still had alot of fight left him. Inferno's right arm, began to release lava which would cover his entire right arm and become rather dense rather quickly. Compressing the toughest earth base materials along with pure carbon. The weapon would form into something more defensive that took shape of large brute looking spike shield.
Light's sword would smash on to the shield just as the beam of light came down behind Inferno. The light would so overwhelming, that both Inferno and Light would be caught in it. The ground around there would most likely be destroy and another crater would be parallel to the one Inferno had made. Either way it was powerful. Inferno's shield would push against Fuuinshin, unfortunately for Light he would be able to compare with Inferno's overwhelming brute strength. Inferno's chest was also glowing orange, so even if Fuuinshin had a trick up it's sleeve and manage to somehow manage to smash though Inferno's shield and arm an orange cero would be released point blank.
((I don't know what exactly would happen if your beam of light hit behind me, so Ill let your post cover what after effect I missed. XD ))

(You forgot that it was four per second not four bolts. Please read it more thoroughly, next time I'll put it in bold.)
The werewolf still grinned as he kept pointing the bow at Inferno through the new Vaste Lorde changing clips. "There's no harm in a surprise attack if the target has already noticed the attacker." Forty-six bolts were curving round the new challenger having only deflected four. The four deflected bolts curved round the rubbled remains of the arena walls and stands. All the bolts fired did what they were meant to do hit the target, in this case Inferno to cause a diversion so Light could gain an upper hand which was very much needed.
Khuul fired another clip into the sky the bolt bending round in the air at Inferno once more. He smirked changing the cylinder and strapped the bow to his back. He drew both his swords in one blurring movement the sound echoing half a second later across the crater. "Fine I'll keep it personal, merely adding some form of reassurance that He will survive. Need to talk to that one." With that he swung the two large curved blades into a defensive pattern not seen since before the city fell. Four hundred samurai went into the realm of the Vaste Lorde's to aid Riverrun none returned, Khuul was the one to bring them their honour.

It seemed that Kaien in the first placed never only blocked four he made it seem that way and due to the fact that Kain was the Vaste Lorde of Sound he used his technique "El Sonido Del Rey" in which allowed him to go beyond a speed imaginable and with that the law of physics when something passes a certain speed and is cut off its after image will still keep going meaning that Kaien was so fast it seemed as if the bolts continued going that way but in fact weren't and were blocked off long ago and being kept in Kaien's coat fizzled out any abilities or properties they were supposed to have. Kaien then looked up and noticed the bolts being shot in the air and groaned. "Dude can you be any more of an a**?...It's rhetorical" He stated as all of a sudden he opened another part of his lab coat and all the bolts shot in the air came out of that one side now and they were nothing but transparent bolts in the air that were already plucked from their path. Kaien using Sonido Del Rey made his body reach a speed of that compared to Hyper space and it was not even near impossible for him since he was the controller of Sound and all it's properites. The man drew his blades out and Kaien laughed but not in a mocking way but in a cheerful way. "Well My name's Kaien, How about yours?"

Engulfed in light, the two fighters clashed with each other as the aggressive contact between Fuuinshin and Inferno's shield made for a loud clang of metal and stone. The rapid vibration of Fuuinshin was increasing the power of his own swing which would normally crushed a mans skull while being driven further to destroy their spine and ultimately cleave them in two. Light wouldn't be surprised if Inferno's shield didn't break but at the least it may have gotten cracked. Regardless the rapid vibration let Fuuinshin bounce off of Inferno's shield and pull his arms back. That action wouldn't have been possible without Inferno's strength. Any other weapon or shield would have been locked against Fuuinshin but since Inferno had rocketed towards him he used the opposing force to deflect his own blade and put himself into position for his real attack. Even with the forming Cero, Light could perceive it quickly and react even faster with his [Hunter Eyes] active.
Quickly, Light jumped up and used one of the lower spikes of Inferno's own shield as a base push himself up and plant his right foot on Inferno's right shoulder. The Cero blasted ahead and through the bottom of Light's coat as he was already starting to swing Fuuinshin down upon Inferno's skull. The reason Fuuinsihn was vibrating was because the small amount of spiritual energy was building up like the carbonation in a can of soda. If you shake it up and open it the contents will explode out. The light from the large beam would just start to fade as Inferno would notice a pitch black substance bleed over Light's legs and over Inferno's shield and shoulder by then as a blue stream of energy erupted from the tip of Light's sword. With that added to Light swinging down and utilizing his upper body, Inferno was about to be violently cleaved in two.
He was too focused on Inferno right now to notice Khuul's attacks on Inferno. But since they were being taken care of by Kaien, the half-angel didn't have much time to notice them. That and if he did he would have wished for Khuul to refrain from intentionally attacking Inferno.

Khuul was attempting to play with fire, a fire with a bad temper and capable of unleashing a hell Nature herself could never bring alone. Khuul was either very brave and a warrior of such calibur, or he was foolish and beyond arrogant for it was suicide to fight Inferno rushing in head first. Kaien however had interfered and Khuul would now have to deal with Kaien. Kaien and Halibel and Inferno all three in the same place meant something was important in the area. Something that they weren't going to let go without a fight, what was it that was so valuable?
Inferno's cero blasted forward just missing Light, the cero disappeared in the distance after a loud boom as the sky was bright orange in that area. That cero was meant to blown Light out of existence and if not for Light's quick work and skill it may have succeeded. Inferno's shield more than cracked, pieces shattered off of it, and a very large dent was left in Inferno's shield as it began to fall apart. As Light used Inferno's shield to push himself up, Inferno looked up to see Light preparing to attack him. The black substance covered pieces of the shield as it helplessly disconnected from Inferno's arm.
As Light's sword came down to cleave Inferno in two, Inferno would burst into flames launching himself up under Light's arms that held Fuuinshin. Light's attack would be not only stopped but he was now directly face to face with Inferno. Their noses only an inch away from each other. Inferno's arms would wrapped around Light's body, as Inferno's shoulders formed some kind of guards out of lava under his Vaste Lorde clothes to not only protect him from some of Light's swinging force of his weapon but also keep Light's hands in place while holding his weapon after they connected with his shoulders. Inferno would violently head butt Light before both him and Light would rapidly begin to spin, creating a fire tornado due to Inferno being in flames and using his fire rocket technique to get the upper hand.
If Inferno's arms were wrapped around Inferno's body, Light would know if not already feel their might as they were adding pressure and threaten to squeeze him to hold him from escaping. Inferno was taking Light for a dive bomb. While using fire rocket, Inferno was moving at a rapid speed of that of a rocket while holding on to Light before Inferno would throw Light with all the force he could gain sending Light to collide with the ground. If Successful, Light's entire body would be thrown deep under ground with the worst headache Light has ever experienced. Inferno depending on if this worked or not landed near Light's now newly formed grave.
"Rest in pieces..."
((Jilly, that may be confusing, but I imagine to get the most out of that swing you would have to use both of your arms if I read correctly...sorry its like 6 am right now and I am dead tired. But I basically rocketed up beneath your arms stopping the full swing. While attempting to countering you with a deadly dive bomb grapple...))

Khuul was using his fairy magic though unnoticeable changing the form and structure of his flesh. From the outside he just seemed to be stretching his every joint but under the clothes and fur things were changing. His muscles where replicating and compacting becoming far stronger from the norm, bones coating themselves in liquids akin to hair spray glazed over themselves. His very body was changing adapting to the potential damage he could gain. "You do know that it's a bad idea to fight a lycan?" His fangs lengthened as he spoke, small spines and spikes formed under his clothes. Once he was fully ready he'd grown half a foot looking more intimidating than before.
Shortly after Khuul activated his shield. The large white werewolf suddenly disappeared from view his power creating a blind spot where Khuul should have been in Kaien's mind. Khuul made no sound not even his breath was audible. The samurai ran at the Lorde zigzagging from one side to the other. It was time for vengeance not just for the ones who died in their realm but for nature which they were slowly destroying. The bolts that Kaien had foolishly let free glowed deep purple. This small pile thus preceded to float in the air circling him waiting for the go ahead from Khuul to strike. These were designed to hit their target no matter what happened. Since earlier he'd pointed the bow at Kaien the target had changed.((Sorry for the hold up had a couple of very busy days. Sadly though goldfish in my aquarium died too in my absence. Coursework hand-ins, on location photography and the like. Hell I can't even go clubbing like usual. *sigh*))

"s**t.. I was hoping I wouldn't have to get serious... Seems I can't sit this one out. How troublesome." Kaien stated as a small skeletal piece was forming at the top of Kaien's head resembling a small horn from it seemed to be created out of mid air and Kaien's face went from extremely cheerful to a serious face and determined, his eyes went from a light baby blue to a dark hue as he looked upon his opponent. His small pendant now began to shine and it grew out of nowhere and it was really his weapon. It turned into an extremely long trident and with that Kaien spun it around one time and the ice simply shattered all around Kaien's feet and with that for some reason now the spikes rotating around Kaien slowed down extremely from whatever speed they were rotating at and dust picked up all around Kaien and as it fell again his eyes would just be seen before the dust cleared and he awaited for his opponent as it seemed his hair was covering most of his eyes from view now. His spear the Handle had engraved on it. "You gotta master Kill." As Kaien was looking out he smiply whispered to himself. "Three Steps Shorter" as the dust cleared away and the spikes were still slowed and Kaien for releasing his weapon took an enormous power jump.
