Violet stood quietly listening as everyone shared their input and then began to add in her own. "Now that I think on it, I do believe Seifer would be right about the Earth nation being an 'empty shell'. Last time I was there was because the Water nation sent an Earth Mercenary who kidnapped me, threw me aboard a Water nation ship and sent me into a battle at Omgitt Jord. Of course this was during our alliance and was totally uncalled for and maybe one of the reasons I resent them so much..." She stopped to get back on track with her thoughts and then continued, "Anyway Earth put up a fight but Water totally obliterated them. Wiped out their whole Capital City and took Omgitt Jord. Yes, Earth may have the most land but frankly they don't have a lot of man power. So I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we should probably get Lighting elementalists on our side if we are going to be using anyone. Lighting and Water don't usually mix well."

Orin commented on Bloom's input on Genji. "But you forget, the Water princess didn't really appreciate the help from the lightning ninja, and he may have given up hope already." He raised his index finger making a point. "And if Meno's does drop the bounty, the lighting user could be helpful against Earth if they happen to side with Metal, and Air afterwords, if we choose to attack them." He nodded. "But I know he is only a single person we would need a greater force to gain complete control over all nations."

"It's not about how I feel, Earth literally has NOTHING left!", Seifer seethed a bit. This was an awkward position to have to spill the beans but it seemed like he'd have little choice now. He took a short trip down the hall to a rolled up map lying on a table. Swiping the map, he brought it closer to the group and unfurled it onto a wooden table. He drew a hunting knife from from his waistband and pointed the blade at the map, making sure to circle the areas of Kraftig Felter, Noytral Klar, and Fire Elv. "These three territories of earth? OURS! That is why that accursed ogre, and the hill giant wanted me dead, I annihilated the Earthen mainlands, and gutted the Earth nation's bread basket. Their fields now belong to us and their farmers are now prisoners in Flamma City." He put his knife away and took a deep breath to calm down, "Now if none of that trio of freaks from today managed to speak to their princess then we might be able to dupe her into some sort of agreement or simply extort her, otherwise speaking with them whether or not I am present will only incite another fight."

((sorry for the lack of posting, i have been visiting family, and my grandfather lives under a rock and has no internet. xD ))
Bloom shrugged at Orin's comment but said nothing.
Iris stared at the map, "Okay then, no Earth." She looked at Seifer, "I say we get the Earth princess's favor. That way we don't have to worry about Earth for the time being. If we have to, we can offer her some of her land back. If what you said is true, Seifer, and you did burn their homes to the ground and there really is nothing left, give her back the piece of land that is charred black and that we have no use for, keep the rest." She looked around at the others, "So we have an agreement on aligning ourselves with Lightning elementals? What about Light, any input on them?"

"Well," Seifer thought for a moment considering the other possible alliances to be formed, albeit very cynically. "Lightning is iffy. They don't really have a nation or hierarchy of their own. They're just a bunch of impure elementalists who latch onto air or fire when they have the opportunity to do so. They're just leeches. Still, they have more resources available to them than Earth. Potentially even a chance to undermine Air. As for Light, I've heard the rumors of them returning with the dark, but I haven't seen any around." Seifer tapped the map over the Flaming mountains as something had occurred to him. "Air is experiencing a food shortage already. We could probably twist their arm over relinquishing our mountains. The princess of Earth can't promise them supplies we've pillaged anyway. I would imagine the princess of air would quickly capitulate if the lives of her people are hanging in the balance."

Orin nodded to Seifer. "Reclaiming the mountians before attacking anyone would be an advantage, espicaly if we can do so without a fight. If we needed a second base of operation during the assults, the mountians would be a prime location, Giving us the high ground, literaly and figuratively, even against Air.

Bloom looked at Iris, "Well, with whatever plan we go with, I say we get Lightning on our side, iffy or not, they can help. The more people on our side, the better."
Iris just stared at Seifer and Orin, 'Boys,' she thought, 'they never listen.' She let out a small sigh, "Did you two get dropped one too many times as children? I never said anything about attacking Air, or 'twisting their arm'. The plan was to attack WATER while their prince is busy!" she said clearly annoyed. She was actually trying very hard not to hit them both upside the head with her staff. "Did you both forget that we have a temporary allegiance with Air? And by 'twisting their arm', we lose our element of surprise! Water will see that we are trying to expand our borders, and will be ready for when we attack them! We can claim our mountains back after we are done with Water! If it will be as easy as you say, then we will have no problem getting our mountains back once we are through with Water! Do I make myself clear? Or do I have to explain myself again?" she asked with a tone that suggested that if she did have to explain again, she really would hit them both on the head with her staff.

Seifer tilted his head, a bit irritated at the sudden insult. He had offered points here and there to the bigger picture or so he had believed up to that point. "Fine. I gave my recommendations. Maybe you missed the memo, princess, but we already have expanded our borders substantially. The princess of earth wasn't aware at the meeting but the giants were fully aware, and I don't anticipate them keeping their big mouths shut about this.
Considering the flow of the election meeting, this campaign won't come as a surprise to anyone, so you may as well have your bases covered. You don't want Air to suddenly have sympathy for Water. The remnants of earth will likely overlook Omgitt Jord and side with Water in lieu of the three territories of theirs we currently possess. At least be prepared for those possibilities. In any event, I've made my points on alliances. Earth will be less than accommodating, and the other two are less nations and more a sparse collection of people who share elemental similarities. Do with that what you will." He turned around and folded his arms. At best he knew he'd probably have to attempt to tie up the loose ends, but at least it was nothing to talk about. Moving on from that, he turned his head partway, "So, where do you want to set up an invasion point?"

Orin frowned, and instead of talking back, as Seifer had, he simply answered the question. "No, Iris, when I was a hatchling, I was simply cast from my home by a leader who was not able to accept others for their ideas or forms." He sighed, and said, "Learning the arts of warfare takes a willingness to see a bigger picture than the defeat of a single enemy. I know shorter lived creatures, like humans as yourself, have trouble with this at times. Seifer and I wished no harm in saying that weather or not you and Violet chose to take back the Mountians, It would be a tactical advantage in both attack and defence." He nodded. "But, I agree, it would be unwise to reclaim that area before laying seige to Water."

((sorry guys for taking literally forever and a day to respond D: I had a bunch of stuff happening all at once and then I kinda lost my ability to write anything that sounded remotely okay. Anyway I'm back now and hopefully I won't forget about this.))
Violet had a far away look in her eyes. "I think what Iris was trying to say was that it would be unwise to stir something up with two nations at the same time. Considering our limited man power, if we were to strike, we would have to do so one at a time. If we were to attack both at once, we would be too spread out to do any damage and wouldn't accomplish anything other than making the opposing nations upset, which could result in them trying to destroy us. If we are to attack, we must do so discreetly and put our all into it, anything less just won't cut it." She smiled and hoped she was being an affective peace keeper among them. 'If we play this right, we could potentially reign over all nations when we're done, which would make the King's job pointless and that's better than just taking his nation. I'd say that's a slap in the face right there.'

((sorry! school has taken over my life! >.< ))
Iris smiled at the thought of the whole taking over all the nations thing, 'Well we aren't getting anything accomplished standing around here talking,' she thought, 'I can get used to this whole thought thing.' She looked at the map, "The one thing we agree on is that we could use lighting. Tomorrow morning we scatter. Find all of the lighting elementalist you can and come back here. From there we will plan our next move. Seifer, I highly suggest that avoid Earth." She thought for a moment, "Orin, why don't search the Air nation for lighting elemantalist, you can fly through the area faster than we could walk. Seifer, you search the Water nation, while you're there scout the area for when we invade. Bloom, head to the Earth Nation, be careful though. Don't get into any fights that you can avoid. Violet and I will either be here or checking out the Light and Dark nations to see if they could be of some use. If anyone has a problem with that plan, say it now." She paused and waited for them to answer her.
Bloom nodded, "Sounds good to me. I'll leave in the morning." She waited to see how the others would answer as she began to form a plan in her head.

Orin nodded as well. "Understood." He waited for the others to respond, and for permission to get some rest. He was starting to feel the real exaustion from the energy he'd used in the battle in the Capitol.

Seifer shifted his eyes to the corner of his view at the warning about earth. "...yes, because I was so looking forward to a stroll through Terra Tanta before brunch."
Taking mental note of the plan, Seifer immediately began thinking of the best means of transportation. He knew his mount could only get him to the shoreline safely. "I understand. I will need a bit of time to procure supplies for the trip. I may not be able to get started so soon as tomorrow morning."

Iris nodded to Seifer, "Take as much time as you need, just remember that we will be waiting for you to come back with the information we need. So don't take forever!" She looked at Orin and Bloom, "Now go get some rest. If you can leave tomorrow, then I suggest that you get all of your things ready and get plenty of sleep, because if you are still around when I get up, I am kicking you out the door and locking it behind me." She said with a teasing voice. With a quick glance at Violet she thought 'Lets talk sister, their is something I still want to figure out with you.' Redirecting her attention to the others, she said, "If you have any furthur questions I'll be in my room." Without another word, she walked down the hall.
Bloom couldn't help but smile at the kicking everyone out comment. She walked down the hall to get all of her things together.

Orin turned, and walked down the hall that led to the officers quarters and quickly found a bed, removed his heavy armor and placed it on a nearby armor stand. He checked his rations bag, finding plenty of dried meat to hold him for the journey, and figured he could gather a few eddible fruits in Air. He layed back on the bed and closed his eyes, and dreamt of nothing but thunderstorms.
