False visions, false information, has been the cause of many misunderstandings and disagreements, and so it is very important that I say no more than I need. It is one of the responsibilities of a seer, as my mother spent quite a bit of time reminding me when I was growing up."

Lin thought about it, and it made sense really, after all if the future could always be told, it would be kind of depressing.
"I see...."
She mused on this a bit more as they had their way to the ranch.
"Who else are you going to visit while you're here?"

Lothiriel giggled. "Why, everyone, of course!" she replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Everyone that I can! I mean, I have so much family out here it's ridiculous! It would be unimaginable not to visit at least all of them while I was here. After all, how often am I here? Four years of traveling and this is my first time!"
"I'll leave the visiting to you," Pen quipped as they ran along after the boys. "No one here means anything to me."
"Well considering that you won't even tell me where you're from," Lothiriel retorted, "it's no surprise we haven't been anywere meaningful for you yet."

"Just because you don't know anyone here doesn't mean you can't visit with her," Lin pointed out, "It'll be fun. It's always fun to meet new people."
Granted this was Lin, anyone she hadn't seen before and found out about she would try to visit, just because it interested her.

"Awwww but it's so much woooork," Pen whined. "It means I have to get up and walk somewhere and talk with someone I don't know ... it's so tedious!"
"You're not getting any sympathy from me," Lothiriel giggled. "Because that is exactly what you did when you introduced yourself to me, and you seemed quite happy at the time."
Though now that she was thinking about it, and now tht her reference was clear, she wondered if maybe he hadn't been "checking her out" when he had come to her rescue. It would explain his flirting.

He was really silly or weird she couldn't tell which, she wondered if Elberon got over his fear of asking questions now that Shael was better. She should suggest he talk to Elberon, or Halmir.....
"Besides you're going to be talking anyhow, I'm sure Elrohir would love to ask both of you a lot of questions."

Lothiriel looked down at Lin curiously. "I can see why he might want to ask me a lot of questions," she commented, "about the family, and about the plantation and such ... but why would he want to ask Pen a lot of questions? He's just traveling with me ..."

"But.... what if he thinks Pen is your boyfriend?" Lin asked, "Then he's going to of course ask questions. Triton says, that Elrohir is very over protective."
She looked up at Pen.
"Don't worry, at least it's only Elrohir and maybe Ulrich asking, I'm sure."
At least she thought, Aragost wouldn't ask, he would already know, knowing him.

Pen nearly choked at that. "GWENTHIR!" he yelped, turning back to her. "You didn't say your uncle was like that!"
Lothiriel stared back at him evenly. "I've never met him," she replied coolly. "How could I have?"

"But he's protective in a good way," Lin protested, "Oh! And maybe Daeron might have a question or two, he's Lothiriel's cousin... then again.. Celebor might.... hmm... yea, he might, but probably just curiousity questions."
She smiled at Pen, not aware that over protectiveness was a problem.
"See, not a problem with talking with people."

Lothiriel blinked. "Daeron's still here?" she murmured; and then she started to laugh.
"Either way," she grinned at Pen, "I win. You had wagered that we would arrive after dinner the day after Daeron left! If he's still here, there's no way you can win that bet now!"
"But we don't even know for sure if he's here yet," Pen protested - then he stopped and looked at Lin. "Do we?"

"Well...." Lin mused thinking about this, "Daeron is living here now, so the only way he could have left is if he went on a hunt with one or two of the other fighters. I think that would be the only way he would have left."
Since Daeron was just now here, as part of the Ranch as anyone else had been.
"I hope not though," she added, "It means that Daddy can't start his hunt because they would have taken the cart."

Lin wondered why they had made the bet so specific, but didn't bother to think about it overly that much. They were reaching the Ranch, and she wondered if her parents and Miyu were already there yet. If they were, was Miyu at the Ranch or off?
Probably at the Ranch though, especially since it would be too late in the day to spend some real time with.

"At any rate," Lothiriel smiled as they left the trees behind them, coming into the wide open space of the ranch, "I think this must be it."
She looked around at everything from where she stood, her Sight allowing her to see more than her eyes could show he, and she nodded thoughtfully, smiling.
"It's wonderful," she murmured.
