Amadeus was completely taken aback by Sarah's reaction. He thought she would be glad she was in someone's arms after the dark spell caused by a Greater Daemon. Or maybe she would still be recovering from the shock and would be somewhat groggy-but-awake. But embarrassment and swift removal from his presence as fast as possible was not what Amadeus had been expecting. For a moment, he felt mildly insulted that she had run off like that after he'd practically brought her back from the dead. But then he remembered that she mumbled Zack's name before she was fully conscious. Was she in love with him? That would explain why she was so protective of him and was put off for a while by Melody's entrance into his life.
But why be embarrassed about waking up in the arms of an angel? She was alive, and he wasn't. Why should it be a problem if he was merely doing his job saving a mortal soul from the perils of Hell? Because that's why he'd been hugging her, wasn't it? That's all... he was just doing what he was created to do. He was protecting. And she fled as if in terror. Why was this bothering him so much? He'd done his job, what did it matter if she ran off like she did? He should be happy in the fact that he'd done a service to mankind. Why did he want her to be happy that he was the one who had saved her?
Did he...?
Good God, he hoped not. An angel falling in love with a human? Deeply caring about your charge was one thing, but not only was Sarah not his charge, but this wasn't the same feeling. What had gotten into him? What was wrong with him? He was a Guardian Angel, he had a job to do. This was silly. He didn't have time for this kind of thing.
He noticed he hadn't moved after Sarah had run off, completely phased out by her departure. He swiftly regained his composure, hoping that no one was around to notice his brief lapse of composure. Shaking his head to clear it of silly and pointless thoughts (an action that, unfortunately, failed miserably), Amadeus made his way over to the van. He didn't get in, since he could fly behind them. Mirvada was right about regaining his angelic abilities, and Amadeus happily flexed his wings, just to make sure they hadn't disappeared again.
So far, in his brief stint in this town, he'd done two good deeds... and that was it. Hopefully he'd be able to prove his worth as time wore on, because he was feeling fairly confused and inadequate at the moment.

Numbah, it's entirely up to you; I've not made a bio for Mirvada at all, so it'd be unfair to go and make you do that. It's up to you if you feel that teh next character needs a bio or not. 3nodding
I'll edit this with hte post once I got it together!))

((Ok, I guess I lied; new post. xd ))
As she looked about and saw that people were getting ready to depart, Mirvada took a long look at Melody for a moment, before walking- no, looking as if gliding, for she moved quite smoothly-across the ground, and offered a hand to the girl.
Melody was just sitting in the chair, trying to make heads or tails of things, when suddenly Mirvada had come and offered a hand to the young angel in training (or was she still referred to as that? Awww man, so hard to tell!). Confused at what such a powerful angel could want of her, Melody took the hand without question.
As the two made it up the stairs, the golden-haired holy one looked at Melody for a moment, her head cocked to the side, saying nothing, as if thinking really hard. After a moment of this (and she could see how Melody was growing nervous; such a easily nerved one, but that’s to be expected.), she walked towards her, and put a finger to her forehead, and a glow surrounded them both.
Melody had closed her eyes, though the glow let her keep them open for a few seconds simply to how comforting of a glow it was. But as it dissolved around the two, the girl looked at herself in the hall mirror: she now looked clean as well as presentable. She wore her hair down, which was no longer bed-headish, with a red bow at the back. The dress she wore was knee length and blue, trimmed with white frills and a white shiny silky-looking belt. It gave the girl a rather innocent approach, and to top it off…..she was actually wearing shoes; pretty red shoes. Real shoes; they felt strange, her feet incased in such things.
The angel turned to the holier one; what words could she use to describe how happy she felt. “T-T-Thank you so much-!”
“There is no need to be nervous about me.” she replied to the girl, only slightly cutting her off due to the fact she was already nervous to begin with. “It is the least I could do to help you feel more comfortable. For awhile, I will make sure you are able to be settled into the human world on a kind note, since humans cannot always relate to all the questions you must have.”
As she went to pass her to go down the stairs, Melody caught extra words, though not spoken by the woman through the human mouth:
“After all, you are our Chosen one, it seems…”
Chosen one?

Strake rose up his upper body, and put his arms back to support himself. "Katie, what did you see?" Strake asked worried that she knows now that he is a demon.
"Everything, how come you never told me you were an exiled daemon?" Katie replied calmly, she was sitting next to him, her eyes staring down at the ground.
"Not everyone likes a demon, Charles tries to remain unbiased, but he doesn't seem to particularly like me, he just lets me continue being here since I have done nothing wrong, but he's watching me, I know he is. That one male angel, I know you can't see him, but he doesn't trust me anymore than he'd trusts Satan himself. That beautiful angel is just plain terrified of me." Strake said laying his head back and closing his eyes.
"I know that you're trustworthy, I mean you killed that evil angel, if you were evil you two would have been on the same side, and compared to him, you looked like an angel to tell the truth." Katie said with a small smile on her face.
"He was actually my counterpart angel, every demon is born with a counterpart angel, but the angel is always the opposite of what they are personality-wise, often in looks as well." Strake explained. "Wait a minute, how do you know I was exiled?" Strake said sitting up, looking at Katie.
"I only guessed, and apparently I was right too. You don't act evil at all, and why would a daemon want to live with humans?" Katie said, still staring at the ground.
"Actually demons often times do live with humans, they enjoy playing pranks and leading them down the dark path, pranks are fun, but the whole dark path thing isn't for me." Strake clarified laying back down. "Where are we anyways?" Strake asked a bit dizzy from the re-entering of his body.
Katie's cell phone rings. "Hold on gotta take this." Katie said answering her cell phone and leaving Strake.
((I kinda lost where Strake is, same with Katie, XP, somebody should answer Strake's question to help me out))

Well, Sarah running off like that wasn't what he was expecting. Oh well, maybe she was still a little shaken up from earlier. That was to be expected, so he didn't dwell on it any longer. Giving Amadeus one last look, he turned and walked back inside.
He noticed Strake sitting up. Wow, about time. This mean he didn't have to carry the demon again. Zack wasn't complaining, but Strake wasn't light as a feather.
After Katie left, he made his way to Strake and sat where she had been a few moments ago. Strake still looked a bit frazzled, but not exactly as energetic as Sarah was after coming out of her "state".
"How are you holding up?" Zack asked Strake. "We're loading into Jay's van to go to Sarah's house. It's bigger and more supplied than this place. Unless you don't want to come, that's cool, but we're getting ready to leave now. Can you walk or do you still need help?"
((I'd post more, but there's a maintanence window thingy saying i'll be signed off in 10 minutes...which is new....o_o))

"Do you know where Sparky is?" Strake asked refusing to look Zack in the face. "I think he might be seriously hurt right now." Strake could feel the agonizing pain of the bird, it was as if he had been smashed between to flat iron walls with spikes on them. He did well to cover his pain by being quiet and not looking at anyone, but he was dieing on the inside.

"I have him." Amadeus said, entering the room in time to hear Strake's last question. "I caught him as he was falling and held on to him." He pulled the mass of bones and feathers from the folds of his robes and gently set him down next to the demon. "Here's your familiar, exactly the way I recieved him. I may not like you, demon, but I do follow a code of conduct, and it would have been wrong to mutilate your familiar, especially since he is helpless. Besides, it's not something that I find... enjoyable." He had to refrain from adding to that comment that demons, however, very much enjoy mutilation. He promised himself he would be civil towards Strake, and snarky remarks don't exactly qualify as "civil".

"Mutilation is not a very fun thing, did you see what it did you my it did to my counterpart angel? How do you think I'm still alive, by completely destroying everything I've seen, that gives me no power, it only shows that I am weak and follow the rules of my race, rules which I find primitive. I find it hard to believe you can still distrust me after seeing my counterpart angel. He was so evil that this gem confused me for the victim. And yet you still think I'm evil, may I ask you why?" Strake said taking his bird from Amadeus and putting it's body parts into the correct places.
"Sarah's dad is a doctor correct? I'm pretty sure he must have something that would help my bird. I'm so glad he had a mutation and ended up having bone marrow or he'd be screwed." Strake added while still working on his bird.

Amadeus closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried once more to explain the simple relationship between angels and demons (and by extension, himself and Strake). "Are you familiar with the mortal group known as the Nazis? If not, they were a large group of people who, among other things, mass murdered the Jewish population of Europe. Millions of them. Now tell me: do you think it is possible for a Nazi to befriend a Jew? It would be a metaphysical impossibility. Conversely, do you think it is possible for a Jew to trust a Nazi? After the millions slaughtered by his kind? Not on your life." He paused for a moment to let Strake consider the example, then continued. "Now, if there was a situation where a Jew was forced to cooperate with a Nazi so that both could achieve a common goal, do you think it would be possible? Maybe. Do you think the entire time, the Jew would keep a wary eye out for the Nazi, even if he had no reason to suspect fowl play? Of course. Do you think the Jew could ever forgive the Nazi for what atrocities were committed by his group? Never."
He paused for a moment and locked eyes with Strake. "And, perhaps unfortunately, it is through a similar lense that I view you. Your kind has wrought nothing but death and destruction for years, Strake. For millenia. It matters not if you might be "different" from the rest of your kind, but the fact remains that you are still a demon. From the first day of my indoctrination into Heaven, I have been told time and time again that demons are not to be trusted. Ever. Do you think I can erase years of hatred and mental confirmation because you say, "I'm not like them. I'm a good demon"? I cannot, even if I wanted to. So no matter what you do, who you save, what noble deeds you achieve... you will always be a demon, and I will always be wary of that fact. It is something you will simply have to deal with."
If, after that, Strake still was unable to understand why Amadeus hated him, there was no hope for the demon.

"Bad example, because Nazi's were Nazis by choice, one is not born a Nazi. A better example would be alot more modern and alot more choiceless, black and white. Blacks for years were oppressed by white men, it was all they ever knew, then a Quaker, they distrust him although he is white, but eventually through his deeds they trust the Quaker. And I've seen evil angels collaborate with demons, if an evil angel is good enough for demons why isn't a good demon good enough for angels? Let me guess 'you are superior to us'? is that what you think? Did you see how easily I killed Dart? We're both the opposite to be expected and I was much stronger because I'm good compared with him being evil, I lost nothing in a switch of alignment, he lost everything. Angels are not superior to demons in any way, other than their ability to trust and have faith in something, but apparently you lack that ability." Strake replied with slight annoyance in his voice, with just a dab of pain he was feeling from his bird.
"We should go, we can argue some other time, not that it's much use on either part." Strake added as he stood up.

All Zack could really do at the moment was chuckle uneasily. He was still confused with this whole concept that the angelic and demonic worlds have entered his. As a human, he trusted Strake, witnessing, first hand, his relationships with his human friends, and the effection Katie had towards him, even after finding out that he was a demon.
However, Zack choose to keep his mouth shut, thinking it a good idea that they leave now. He wasn't quite sure he wanted to get into a biting debate over trust and distrust, angels and demons, nazis and jews, and blacks and whites. Those were all Sarah's subjects of discussion, and he knew better than to stay out of it all.
Glancing around, he noticed that the two female angels were missing. He still didn't know where the other angel came from, or even who she was for that matter, but he knew she was an angel. "You two go out to the van. I'll wait for the other two, make sure they know where everyone is."

A look of unpleasant surprise came over Strake's face as Zack spoke. Although Strake could sometimes here his outermost thoughts while he was speaking to Amadeus, he had completely forgotten Zack was there. Strake was slightly relieved to hear that Zack had said "You two" because that would have meant he could see Amadeus as well. For a moment Strake thought he had heard Zack's thoughts lean more towards trusting him than distrusting him, but this had been inconsistent with his previous actions so he dismissed it as his own wishful thinking. The worst part of his power was that he could easily confuse other's thoughts for his own thoughts, or that it was easy to dismiss some thoughts as wishful thinking because they seemed so much like his own thoughts.
"I'll need a moment to regain complete human disguise, I can still fell some demonic power, and I'd prefer that the human's that are unaware of the demons and angels would stay that way. Besides I'd appreciate talking to the two angels as well, the blond one seems very close to god, I'm curious to see if she would accept me even though I am a demon." Strake replied to Zack, changing his mind because of what Zack had said.

As the other lady went downstairs first, Melody kept looking at teh mirror, in some sort of awe. "So....this is what humans dress like..." she muttered strangely to herself. It was hard to keep in such excitement, but she wondered what otehr good things were in store. SUddenly noting that the other was down the stairs with the HOly One, she wanted to try something for a moment.
She had seen a little bit on what people called " ballroom dancing", similarish to the angels balls and forms of moving about gracefully with a partner. She had never danced with a partner before, and it wasn't common in heaven unless you were married or dating...which obviously, Melody had done neither. Although this was actually a normal concept, ballroom dancing, in both worlds, it was one where Melody had not grasped much of; she was more used to normal dancing, but not one of more plesantness to look at.
She looked about, and then looked at her feet, as she tried to remember some steps. Back two there, left two three, up two three, down two three......."da da da da, da da, da, da".....she smiled a bit as she hummed some strange tune to herself, one she heard outside a music building once as she watched out for Zack. She was getting it, she was sorta getting it, she was-
BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMCRAASSSSHHH!
She had oh so gracefully started out nicely, but tehn not looking where she was going, fallen completely down teh flight of stairs. She looked up from her sprawled out position, twitching, to see the two elders look at her strangely.
"Ababababsbaba! J-j-just tripped down teh um..uh...I"ll be going now!" she said quickly while rubbing the back of her head, her face strangely turning red........wait, this is an emotion to. What is itttt? she thought as she went outside quickly-as she this time, did miss the first step out of the house.
She stumbled and fell, but realized it was squishy, whatever she landed on, and it made noises just like Zack! Now where is-
....oh. ....OOOHHH.
"ABABABABABABA! SORRY ZACK!" she said quickly, getting off of him and helping him back up, that stupid emotion going hotter as she dusted off his clothes. Why did she even try to dance like htat? She was never good at elegant dancing anyways.
Great, antother bad emotion. WHy were they springing up so fast, and why did they make her feel bad?
The two, back inside, looked at each other with a odd expression, knowing full well that she was finding out things fast, but not grasping hte meanings. This wasn't good....
They also followed out, their expressions now cheery and the man call out "You guys all set?" in his usuall happy bellow.

"I'm more than ready, but I've got a question for the one beside you." Strake stated walking over from where he was. "No doubt you know the deeds I've done, seeing as you are obviously close to god. I'd like to know your opinion of me, I understand if you don't trust me, then I can dismiss as an angel thing, and live with the fact that angels will never trust me. If you do trust me than at least I know I can earn an angel's trust." Strake said to Mirvada.
