A great goofy grin had made its home on Kiba's face. Despite being ready to train for hours just moments ago he was now well into party mode! However, if the young Raiken remembered correctly, there are usually lots of people at a festival, and yet, where was everybody? He walked to his left. Nobody. He walked to his right. Nobody. "Dang it! Did I miss it!?" Kiba sighed as he leaned back up against a tree. There was something that felt rather out of place on the tree that was pressing in on his back right between his shoulder blades. "Hmm?" Kiba lazily got off of the tree and turned around to examine the source of his slight discomfort. It was a nail, specifically the nail that the Kage had used to post the latest festival event. "Alright!" he exclaimed "'First Event. Relays. Lagoon.' short, easy to remember. I like it! Ok! To the Lagoons we go!" With that he sped off once again with the same goofy grin.

Sighing, her body was beginning to tire more and more as she sat on the pile of snow. Perhaps it was time she rose and began on her way again. Struggling to raise out of the snow, she sighed once more as she laid her palm against the wall to straighten her back. "Hm, okay, let's get going!" The tiny girl raised her fist in the air in a rather childish and happy manner as she took hold of the sword and swung it over her shoulders again. It's weight hit her hard and she could feel her knees as they trembled for a moment. Then it happened, her knees gave out and she collapsed back into the snow. Her tanned face had a partial confused and shocked look to it before she just smiled and laid the sword back down. Guess it wasn't time to head out yet.

The path to the village from the housing area wasn't that long but it took a good long time to cover it, moving the sled was slow work. It cut through the snow easily enough but it was thick and walking through it was troubling enough without the weight of the sled ontop of it. Kazuma cursed whatever lazy person had neglected to shovel the snow from the path today. Regardless of the trouble he was there just on the edge of the village centre now, which was enough reason for a bit of rest. He sat down in the snow seeing as there was nowhere else to sit and he quickly regretted that. The cold quickly sapped through his pants to his bum causing him to jump up with a bit of a squeal. That was dumb, he now had a damp cold butt. Like that would help him anymore. He debated setting the rocket off then and there but people were around and might stop him. It would be easy enough to put out the fuse with all the snow sitting around. No, he was determined to see this through. He hadn't spent all that time building a rocket just for someone to come and slap his hand and take it away from him. With a look of determination set in stone across his face he grabbed the rope and began pulling again, towards the village centre. It was a little easier now as the snow was cleared from the village streets, although soon he would have the trouble of crowds to worry about.

Thankfully the village center was a little less populated with the cold weather, still quite busy but it wasn't packed and people had the courtesy to move the side as the boy came through pulling his sled with the big ol' rocket hidden under a blanket. Infact more than a few people who knew the boys face gave him warm smiles and a few encouraging remarks, they were apparently glad to see the boy doing some honest work for once instead of causing trouble... If they only knew... If they only knew... It was enough to paint the boys face with a mischievous grin, gleefully he pulled the sled now. The villagers ignorance to his payload only further motivating him to see it launched. He buried his face in the fluffy collar of the coat, having to hide his barely containable grin. Even if they were unaware now if they saw that look on his face he would surely be found out. So he lowered his head and pulled the cart, holding the rope over his shoulder. He pushed through the people like a knife cutting a path. He was soon on the other side of the center and nearing the beach. The snow was once again thick on the ground and the travel through it became hard. Stopping for a breather, the boy couldn't help but feel tired as he looked back at how far he'd already come. His arms and legs were burning, more exercise than they'd had in a long time and they weren't done yet. Almost there...

Seiko walked through the village drawing lines on his map to indicate where he was and what path he took. As he followed along he cam across one of the most delicious smells he had found in his short life. As he followed his nose the young Jio found himself inside a rather empty Udon shop. Looking around the boy didnt see anyone. "Hello is anyone here?" The boy listened as his stomach growled. It seemed the jerky didn't do much for the boys stomach as he found himself wrapped up in the smell of the food not being served in this place of wonders. "Hello? I am looking for Shinichi. Is there any one here who can help me?" The boy sat down at a table and tapped his pen on his makeshift map. "Where am I and who is this Dhan person. Among that why and the hell did I listen to that crazed island woman?" All questions swirling in Seiko's mind. He was confused hurt and somewhat sad. His past was gone but his future was beginning to blaze brighter than he imagined. Its fuel...revenge. Revenge on every Meho alive.

The owner of the noodle bar popped his head out from the kitchen. He hadn't really expected much business that afternoon so he'd taken a break to fix himself something to eat. " I'll be with you in a second!" He called out to the young boy as he disappeared back into the kitchen.

Seiko had no interest in the mans food he needed information and he needed it quickly. "I am not a customer. I just need some information on the location of Shinichi or Dhan. I am in a hurry and it would be helpful if you could tell me anything about either of them and or where I could find them. Then I will be out of your shop." The boy was hungry and his mouth was watering more than a waterfall in the middle of the rain forest but he had no money to afford a bowl of water let alone ramen. In and out was what he needed right now and the quicker the better. "Can you tell me who or where to find them?"

Udo didn't reply till he appeared from the kitchen again, wiping his hands on a cloth he walked over towards Sekio. " Now why would you be interested in a person like Dhan..." He questioned Sekio, he notably used the term person in an odd way as if he almost didn't count Dhan as a member of humanity. " Well, Shinichi should be around town, somewhere. I saw him running around with the students earlier today... Now you sure you don't want some noodles? You look awfully hungry my friend. "

Seiko ground his teeth trying to tolerate the mans questions. It was a waste of time listening to the questions and chasing after the Kokke or Kage or what ever the hell they called this idiot. "I dont have time to eat, I was sent to look for Dhan something by Tomoko Jio. The sooner I get this done the sooner I can..." Seiko stopped their not wanting to remember the cause of his arrival. He thought the pain in his stomach was from the memories but it turns out he was just a hungry little kid. Gripping his stomach with a black gloved hand the boy Looked up at the man. "I dont have any money to pay for ramen. So don't tease me with the idea of food just point..." Pausing again to stop due to his stomach. He looked at the man. With a look like a hungry beast staring at his next meal.

" You look like you're going to pass out in a minute, it's a good idea to listen to what your stomach's telling you. " He had a sly grin on his face as he leaned over the table infront of the boy. " You know you interupted me in the middle of my break and I didn't get to finish my lunch... If you can answer a riddle, I'll let you finish it off and I might just point you in the right direction. Otherwise the door's right over there friend. " He kept on grinning as he put forth the challenge, he just couldn't resist testing someone's wit. " So here it is. Give me food, and I will live; give me water, and I will die. What am I?" After putting forth the riddle he straightened himself up and crossed his arms, waiting for his answer.

Seiko looked at the man with a questioning look. It was good to see on this island that there was still some people with intelligence and a need for a challenge of wit of brawn. The man was strange indeed but if food was the prize Seiko only needed to listen. Slipping into a thinkers like stance the boy repeated the riddle in question over and over. His inner monugle was quickly dissecting every word until he could find the answer. "Living vessels require both food and water, but what is the food in question. What needs only food but not water?" It was easy to find the answer after only a moment. "Why of course you must be speaking of fire. It lives off of anything it can burn and water will put it out."

" Right you are!" Udo said with a nod of his head. He turned and headed back into the kitchen for a moment to retrieve the left overs. "Enjoy friend, you earned it. " He smiled as he placed the bowl infront of the boy. The food was still warm, probably from the heat in the kitchen and there was enough there to keep him going for a little while, though he would need a proper meal soon enough. Udo stepped back and waited for Seiko to eat up and ask his questions, it was good to see a bit of intelligence in one of the students running around.

Seiko was not surprised he got the answer right and was more than happy to accept his reward. Sitting down in front of a half eaten meal the boy dug in with his gloved hands not worrying about anything other than the fact he could silence his stomach a little longer. Looking up at Udo, the boy stumbled through mouthful's trying to have a conversation. "I am Seiko Jio. I am looking for Dhan or Shinichi. Could you possibly tell me where I could find either of them?" The boy stopped stuffing his face to pound his chest with a fist to try and coax the lump of half chewed food down his throat. As he manged to gain the right to breath again he continued to eat. The boy was no pig and had plenty of manners, but he was just very hungry and upset.

Udo couldn't help but laugh as Seiko shoveled the food into his mouth. " They call me Udo the Udon man. " He introduced himself after Seiko, just to be polite. " Slow down there, the food's not going anywhere!" He chuckled as Seiko almost choked on a bit of food. " Right then, like I said I saw Shinichi and his students earlier today. Just head out from here and follow the road to the right, I'm sure you'll either find him or someone who knows where he is."

Seiko continued to eat slower with his left hand as he looked at his map. Drawing a few buildings he noted the path the man spoke of. He was getting tired of this and wanted to see if he had any clue where he was in reference to the shack. Looking back at Udo, "I keep hearing about this Shinichi fellow, but what of Dhan. It is Dhan I need to find." Going back to his plate the boy noticed his gloves were beginning to get messy. Taking them off and placing them under the belt across his chest he began to eat with his bare hands showing of his black nail polish.
