Well that's been taken care of. Who saw Ironman or that new movie with Jackie Chan and Jet Li? Are they worth spending money to go to the movies to see?

Must.
See.
Ironman.
It's reviewed 4/5 so far. Plus Ironman is the s**t. Come on...built in flashlights!?
LOL
But definitely going to see it tomorrow. AND Forbidden Kingdom when I get the chance. And maybe the Indy movie but the originals were so kickass, not sure a remake can do it justice.

I feel the same way about the Indie movies. I doubt it'll live up to the old ones but it still maybe good. Forbidden Kingdom that's the name. I think I'll see that or Ironman on Sunday. I really want to see Forbidden Kingdom because Jet Li's in it. I'll try out Speed Racer to just because I grew up with that cartoon.
Everyone thought I was weird because I want to go see it. sweatdrop

Katz the Nine Lives Well that's been taken care of. Who saw Ironman or that new movie with Jackie Chan and Jet Li? Are they worth spending money to go to the movies to see?
The Jackie Chan/Jet Li flick is too full of annoying Chinese stereotypes for me..

Yeah, the Forbidden Kingdom is really cliche and there's about 1 fight in there that's even worth watching. YouTube the Jet Li/Jackie Chan fight and you'll save yourself 2 hours and a lot of money.

If you want good Jackie Chan flicks, nothing beats local hong kong production =P
Of course, he hasn't made a movie in eons, but there was one about stealing a baby a few years back that was really funny xD "Rob-B-Hood"
And well, I really like Rush Hour 1 and 2 too. 3 was.. ok. The lady was annoying... -_- She spoke slowly... and was randomly good in martial arts.
He didn't like them, though S: He just made them because people liked them XD
Hmmm... come to think of it, I don't watch a lot of martial arts movies o.O Hahahahaha there was one from years and years ago called "Luk Keng Kei" it's like this movie adaptation of this short story by Jin Rong (Kam Yong in Cantonese) who is this totally famous warrior stories author. IT'S REALLY FUNNY AND I CAN'T EXPLAIN WHY crying

Tategami Maya You know, I kinda wanna watch that too! Old cartoons were the best, man...

YAY the theater 2 minutes from my house reopened and movies before six are five dollah wooo five dollah make me hollah! XDDD Plus after matinee it's $5 with a student ID....college is useful!!! Yeah that was my fav cartoon back in the old days. I miss that show. Goliath, Brooklyn, Demona. It was a great show.Aznka Yeah, the Forbidden Kingdom is really cliche and there's about 1 fight in there that's even worth watching. YouTube the Jet Li/Jackie Chan fight and you'll save yourself 2 hours and a lot of money. I partially agree with you. The movie did have cliche characters and plot. Yet it had a certain charisma to it that made it enjoyable. I think you could best compare the movie to a Disney flick. I think it was aimed more for kids to watch and enjoy (not that an older generation couldn't enjoy it). The fighting wasn't too bad. Nothing noteworthy, but nothing that scoff off either. I'll agree though that there was only one good fight that stood out. I think though they shouldn't have used so much wiring in the movie for the fights. My biggest gripe in the movie were probably the heroine and her nemesis that and the too much of the wiring for some fight scenes.
Otherwise it's a fun view and has it's funny times and portrays a cliche boy in a different universe on a magical adventure pretty well. If it's a pure martial arts, kung fu action movie you're probably going to be disappointed but if you're looking for a quirky adventure I think it'll be pleasing.
Well now that one that movie is over on to Iron Man tomorrow.

haha I remember watching a Disney martial arts movie. It was called Wendy Woo or something like that.. -_- well at least they made the girl like popular and not nerdy and stuff, not like a stereotypical chinese. They also did her american-ness really well =P haha she was like eww mooncakes!!
Yeah but I dunno... the fights were... weird.
