Here is an idea for your return atop your metal seadramon, you see. The point everyone can digivolve again is when I have astamon digivolve using the virus. He basically takes all the virus into himself to do it, so the virus can't interfere with our digivolving anymore. You can come bursting through the floor at some point on top of metal seadramon during the fight against what astamon turns into. Blasting away some of the vast horde he calls up since he is so full of the virus he just spawns them from himself then.
