Very. I was kind of dissapointed at how they made it. I mean, not the concept of Axel dying, because the cool ones always die, but just that he died without any recognition or getting to see Roxas. It seemed kinda...I dunno...un-Disney-esque, would you call it? Anyway, I've read some really sweet fanfiction on the subject, which is nice, because the writers weren't awful and made it seem like an addition to the game, rather than just some petty fanfiction. Oh noes, I'm rambling! Sorry, sorry...

I really can't see how he didn't earn some sort of heart. I mean, his last words were so...well, you know what I mean. And anyway, Ansem the Wise talks about how one can't ever understand the heart, he apologizes to Roxas even though he's a nobody, and he also says that the hearts he turned into data to create the second twilight town were even too complicated to control, furthering his statement on the heart and how it's too complicated. And seriously, everything Axel felt and did couldn't have been all from nothing.
So I have my sliver of hope. And I read this really sad 100 word drabble, written by this girl, about Sora feeling sad after the game whenever he sees fire (because, you know, the whole Roxas a part of him thing, and then Axel and fire). Anyway, it was really sad/sweet.
There I go, rambling again.

SimpleCry What do you guys think about it? I know this is a RxS, but I mean this topic/thready thing is about riku sooo sorta on topic. I was just wondering, 'cause my friend who loves SoraxKairi argued with me over who Sora liked, and I accidently started to say RikuxKairi is horrible...then we started talking about it, and I was all like, "that actually would work." so what do you guys think about it? Disscuss. oo and vote. YAYNESS!

Oh, and to answer your question, the Riku/Kairi pairing makes my eye twitch. While Riku did mention her a lot throughout KH1, and certainly made it look like he was interested in her, it was more an extension of his rivalry with Sora than a genuine attraction to her.
You'll notice that in KH2, however,Riku hardly ever mentions Kairi at all, and he certainly doesn't drop hints that he wants to share a paopu fruit with her, like he did in the first game...
Plus, when you add in the fact that Kairi obviously has the hots for Sora, the pairing becomes completely illogical.

You do have apoint. but I think it is...not really a coannon, or close to a possibility, but if Kairi really needed to be with someone. RIKU! just 'cause it would work. I don't know. >.< I just like the pairing. even though I have a weird habit of pairing random characters together. Like my all time fav pairing is CidxReno, from FFVII and that is weird. really weird. so yeah don't listen to me!

"Crack" pairings can sometimes seem appealing. I don't like RikuAnyone who isn't Sora, but I do like XemnasSaix, which is pretty crack. Or at least for crack reasons. sweatdrop

Or at least for crack reasons. sweatdrop Not really, considering Saix was really kissing up in the end. ninja Of course, aside from the heart-less-ness part that Square threw in there and didn't stick to very well, they still have...erm...their...'manly-ness'? sweatdrop Uhh... They still have a sex drive. There. As said before, I hate it when people pair up characters that didn't get along or even talk in some cases.
