Jessica was busy fighting off the monsters. "Take this!" she said, then started mumbling some words. Seconds after, light balls came out of her staff, and surround some monsters. Then she simply snapped her fingers and they blew up, taking the monsters out.

Alex saw Jessie blowing up random mosters beside a woamn with a staff, and he just shook his head. Grabbing one of her free hands, he began dragging her out of the city, closer to the outskirts of town, accidentally grabbing the woman with the staff's hand too. "Come on, we're leaving!!" He told them.

"Alex! No!" Jessica protested, "We have to save the town!" She looked at him. "Are you telling me you'll let a whole town and some of the people there be destroyed to save yourself?" she asked. "Plus, I need to capture one for my studies!"

Joan went along with it. A man she didn't know was dragging her out of the town she had all her stuff in, but she didn't really need all that stuff anyways. She just assumed that traveling with someone wouldn't be a bad thing. Anyways, it was obvious that the man and the girl weren't from Egypt, and she was getting tired of traveling with people who didn't understand her if she talked to them.
"Who's he?" Joan asked Jessica as they were getting pulled along, "Your boyfriend?"

Jeesica looked at Joan and Serrenedy. A blush appeared on her face. "W-W-What? Wedding bells? B-Boyfriend? I-Its not like that!" she said. She looked at Serrenedy and Aneisa. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?"

Aneisa growled a bit under her breath. "Geeze, Serrenedy! It's great that you're so open and friendly, but you really need to learn when to keep your mouth shut, Dear. Anyway, name's Aneisa. I seem to be the sane one of the group. No offense, Alex."
Looking at the assembled group, she sighed. "So now what? Continue with our plan a little ahead of schedule? If we have any hope of keeping .... things calm, we can't delay too much, or I got a feeling there'll be 'Demons" to pay." She hoped at least Alex would catch her meaning.

Joan had no idea what anyone was talking about. "What plan? If you guys have some sort of plan to do, and I'm in the way, I can always go do my own thing." She smiled, trying not to inconvenience the group of people that seemed somewhat enjoyable.

Alex would have come back with a witty comment if he wasn't gasping for breath while holding his knees. "The egyptian milita will take care of the town. Besides, I doubt that we'd want one of THOSE things to take home. What would customs think as you walked into the gate?" He said to Jessie. Looking to Aneisa, he sighed, and rubbed his head. "Well, after the Milita have seized the town again, we'll buy a few camels and head out." Looking to the other person he dragged along, he just sighed. "Well, seeing as though I dragged you out, you might as well come along with us." ((Those of you who aren't part of the group yet, hang tight. We'll be meeting up soon!))

"I don't get it" Serrenedy looked confuzed-"Did you say something to get Demona Mad?" She had assumed that these people knew about the gargoyles,but wasn't stupid enough to say it exsactly in a public area

Jessica sighed. "Being dragged.....a feel like a little child being punished by her mommy....." she looked at Alex, "I'm sowwy mommy!" she said in a childish sad voice, like she had gotten in trouble for something.

Alex just sighed and wiped his brow, looking at the near-setting sun. "Well, at least it's getting more cool." Looking to Anesia and Serenedy, he pointed. "Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. This street's famous for child pickpockets. So check your stuff now." He told them.
Looking over to Jessie, he just rubbed his hand in her hair. "That's MR. Mommy to you." He told her.

Alex wasn't in the mood at the moment. But, seeing as though she was a good friend of his, he'd let it slide. He tapped the top of her forehead, and laughed. "Keep that up, and you're gonna miss the valley of the kings." He warned her.
