As Seth noticed the big looming shadow of Hrothgar passing over her, She hurriedly rolled to the side. The gash across her gut was rapidly closing up, but she knew she couldn't take too many hard hits like that in succession. Clearing Hrothgar's landing spot was doable, she couldn't get off the ground to avoid the shockwave in time. her momentum and the impact of Hrothgar's landing sent her airborne flying toward Maryl.

Maryl stopped and took a few steps to the side to clear Seth's landing path. She let go of her book, letting it float in place as she began casting another spell. Images of numbers and clock parts appeared around her as she concentrated her energy.

As Hrothgar watched the two girls regroup, he tilted his head and upper body back, letting out a resounding howl. He stomped the ground once before charging at Seth once again. He readied both weapons to cleave widely at the two of them.

Doing a small somersault, Seth touched the ground a short distance past Maryl with just the ball of her foot. Springing off the ground, she flew back past Maryl and straight back at Hrothgar drawing her sword.

I can't be afraid. Maryl finished her spell. The images of numerals spun rapidly and faded into her, and she began moving a bit faster as she started casting again. This spell was fairly quickly casted as Maryl began to fade slightly leaving after images. She took two steps to get around Hrothgar. Each step made her blink a few feet across the arena to a new location.

Hrothgar Brought his hammer around to attack at Seth early, following up with his Axe from the opposite direction. His previous instinct was rescinded by Seth's counter charge, he never had something like this happen before and had no idea how to react. His first effort was simply to attack.

Ok, That armor shell looks like hard stone. If he's an earth elemental, that limits me on certain elements. Maryl put her hands together to conjure a frost bolt. As the cold air condensed it rapidly changed from a frosty puff in her hands to a swirling darkness. Maryl got quickly frustrated but managed to maintain focus, releasing the Shadow bolt anyway aiming for Hrothgar's leg.

Seth spun horizontally in the air, positioning herself to kick off the hammer side and flip over Hrothgar. She slashed at his shoulder and flew a short distance past him stopping a few feet away, and preparing to attack again.

Hrothgar barely flinched from the weight of Seth jumping off of his hammer. He halted his swing so not to try to follow her and accidentally hit himself. He felt her blade scrape off of his armor on his shoulder. He turned around somewhat, feeling a burst of negative energy impact with his right leg. He stumbled a bit, losing his balance.

Maryl let out a tiny grin after almost toppling the giant with her shadowbolt. She quick casted a cone of cold. Once again the unruly elements shifted, this time generating a sort of rainbow light from her hands. The spread of energy was bright containing a little of each element at once as it spread out to engulf Hrothgar.

Seth looked over her shoulder, to watch Maryl casting her spells. She seems to be doing okay with all of these evocation spells. Well, if she's going to turn things up a bit, maybe I should too. Seth put her sword away, and clasped her hands together to form a ball. A faint crackling noise began followed by a growing light. The crackling began to become more apparent as electricity displaced around Seth. A bright light began to glow from her hands.

Lowering his head and covering up with his arms, Hrothgar fell backward from the intensity of the cone of elements. He grunted as he was sent sliding from the intense concentration of the energy into the stands on the opposite side of the arena. He stood up slowly, his rage fading and clarity returning to his mind. "I really must have underestimated those kids..." He shook his head. His armor was intact, a bit charred and frostbitten but intact.

Maryl stood waiting, watching for what the giant was going to do next. She noticed Seth generating an awfully large amount of energy and light doing something with her hands. Calmly, Maryl took her spellbook in hand and closed it, holding it at her side.

Seth pushed her hands forward toward Hrothgar. The light revealed itself as a concentrated beam of plasma as it rushed viciously toward Hrothgar. The displaced electricity, danced around the beam in route further illuminating it and maintaining the positive charge of the beam. Once intercepted, the beam was fairly volatile.

Hrothgar saw the expansive ray approaching and sighed. "******** me..." Letting his armor flake off into a pile of broken granite shards, he took a running start and Jumped up into the stands. He never quite made that gap to safety as the blast was just too expansive. Getting engulfed by plasma, Hrothgar tumbled down the stairs into the halls below. As he lay there seared by plasma he looked up at the ceiling raising his arm in attempt to get back up. "Th... that other kid... That energy was familiar. like..." His arm fell to his side as he lay there motionless.
