For a second she was fine, and then the pain hit her like a tidal wave. She winced at first, and felt herself fall back into him, woozy, and her neck throbbed from where he bit her.
"E-Edward....it hurts....." She knew it would hurt, so, she braced herself. "But...how much are you....supposed to take? And...." She smiled through the wince of pain, "I'm happy....This is what I wanted....but...I didn't expect it to go so quickly...." She reached a hand out to him, "I just want to be with you and only you tonight....and I'm happy....I will be spending eternity with you....."
"You don't have to be overly cautious.....if you want more...go ahead..." she gave him a small, almost weak looking smile.

He gently squeezed her hand. "Don't worry, I spoke to Carlisle and discussed how much I should take," he murmured, stroking her cheek with his forefinger.

Bella smiled up at him weakly, "Is it okay if I fall asleep? The pain....it..." She gritted her teeth and cried out in pain, and bit down to keep herself from screaming.
"If...I can....fall asleep...." She could feel tears sliding down her cheeks, It will all be over soon, Bella, be brave, just let Edward hold you.... She wanted to just collapse in Edward's arms, but the venom was ice cold, so cold, it was burning throughout her veins.
She had to bite down harder, but she let Edward keep a firm grip on her.

Edward grimaced. This is how he didn't want to see her... He couldn't stand her being in pain like this... "Sh, honey, it will be over soon," he whispered gently.

Bella smiled, "I'm fine....I promise.....how much longer? will I....black out?" she was still a bit scared, but she trusted him whole heartedly. "I'm glad....I wanted this......instead of being killed by the voultri...its for the best...." she sucked in a sharp breath, almost like a hiss, as the pain became a tiny bit worse. "It will be over.....but I will bear with it...I am safe in your arms..."

Edward stroked her hair. "Well... it took Carlisle three days..." his voice trailed off. "Now you can beat Emmett in an arm wrestling match." He stifled a quiet chuckle.
Sam can you hear me? Edward's changed her! They broke the treaty, she screamed into his mind, tears streaming down her wolf face.

Bella stifled a chuckle, laughing, but obviously surpressing the pain, then she stopped. "Edward.....what if.....they start a war? What if they get mad at you changing me?" There was a deep pain in her voice, "I don't want that to happen....please.....don't let it happen..."
Her eyes glistened with worry, and she was silent. "Okay, when I get the chance, I will be sure to challenge him," she said, smiling, and squeezing his hand. "If I sleep....will anything bad happen? Or is it safe?"

He tensed up at the mention of the possibly war that could break out. "I'll do everything in my power to stop them," he promised. "You can sleep, it just will feel very strange, since your body is one, in pain, and two, will reject sleep later on during the change."
Edward did WHAT! Sam bellowed. Lex could tell he was running at warp speed towards her house.

"Jacob promised me he'd tell Sam to not think about it if it was brought up..." she mumbled softly, she felt a couple tears and a smile, "Thank you..." She mumbled, falling into a fitful, and anything but restful, sleep.

Bella winced in pain, from her sleep, struggling not to awaken, she flinched, the pain getting worse. Her eyes shot open, and she looked up at Edward.
"I....can't sleep...." she sat up,with difficulty, the pain still throbbing. Still trying to ignore it, even though it was almost impossible, she looked at Edward, "I don't know why...."

"Maybe that's the first human thing to go..." he said out loud, curious now.
Sam bust into the house moments later, wearing only his cut off shorts. "Edward did what, now?" he asked, his face gowing red. "He's changed her," Lex whispered. "Please, don't start a war!"

Bella winced again, and sighed, "Yah, I guess so...." she crossed her legs indian style, and looked down, almost looking downcast. "Edward....what if....there is a war? I mean...what will happen? Jacob finally accepted that this is what I wanted...and he said he's stay my friend even if I was a vampire...."
