i hav been playing the elc bass 4 4 years and the stand up 4 about a year

What model bass do you have?
um... i dont really noe and dont really care as long as it plays

Preferred method of playing?
lik rock?? um i lik to play classical stuff on the stand up and thats 4 skool so i try to play on the elc... just anything... i lik some complcated stuff

my string bass teacher i mena hes been playing 4 lik ever

ud think a bassest would noe who their favorite bassist is i think flea is really good and the 1 who ws with sublime was great... ya

How long have you been playing? A little over 6 months.
What model bass do you have? Uhm.. It was made by Yamaha. It's cheap because I'm just starting out.
Preferred method of playing? I just pluck at the strings with my fingers. No pick.
Personal Influences?Uh, I guess with my music and art in general the Grateful dead have been major influences. Janis Joplin and the many bands she's played with have influenced my music and art as well.
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist?Matt Freeman of Rancid and Fat Mike of NOFX
Any thing you'd like to add (about the rules or anything at all?)? I would love some tips on bass playing, because I'm somewhat new to it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

my name's tom

i've been playing for about 2-3 months
my influences are Cliff Burton and Steve Harris
I have a red Squier Affinity and a Rumble 15 amp

i use a pick (ERNIE BALL FTW!!) on some songs like Rosenrot to get the sound a little different and Rooftops.
mainly i hold my bass almost vertically and pluck.
