Mercav's eyes narrowed and he slowly nodded his head, "Of course. Forgive me for being so rude." He stiffly sat down in a chair opposite of Desruc, "Also, now that you know of the girl's secret, I trust that you will keep it a secret." He raised an eyebrow, "Correct?"
"Please forgive Mercav," Clare laughed as she stepped in, "We've run into a lot of...troubles...lately." She could have just screamed. What had gotten into Mercav? The number one rule they had: never reveal that one was a gifted and the other was a ghost. In reality, she had every right to blab to Desruc that Mercav was dead, but then she would be stooping to his level. Instead, she searched deep into Desruc's eyes, "You're not going to turn me over to an agent, are you?"

"Of course!"
The boy smiled, golden eyes gleaming as he ran a hand through his hair.
"I completely understand. I figure if they're hunting gifted, you might have a bit of trouble. The least I can do is keep your secret and give you a place to stay."
Desruc looked at her, shocked for a few moments, then laughed.
"No, no, no! Of course not!"

FernOfQuirm Kill Romantic Interesting that you should ask. Miko replied, as the car sped along through the streets. Archer is driving, so we could be most anywhere.Elwood looked back. "Hmm....There was one cop when we started, right?" They turned to see a squadron of police cars flanking them, trying to cut them. "Might I suggest driving a little bit faster?" Archer was in full speed demon mode. She wondered what it would look like from outside the car. She'd lapsed into slow time to make control easier. Even though she couldn't feel the full force of it, she knew the car was going impossibly fast. Ruth, however, was not enjoying it. She had two main aims. Firstly, to stop her internal organs from falling out. And secondly, to stop last night's dinner (bread, packet of crisps and unnamed vegetable) from obscuring Archer's view. "I think you should drive a little faster," she remarked sarcastically. Archer smiled sweetly, tasking her eyes of the road. "If you insist, then!" "No! Archer! I was joking! NOOOO!!!-" The pedal quite literally hit the metal. "Shouldn't you just- wwuuuubbblllll - shouldn't you just slow down time a little more? Please!" "It's funner this way! I'm a speed person!" Ruth was not. She opened the window and lost her battle with last night's dinner. Elwood turned to watch the bile fly past them and thwack into the windsheild of one of the pursuing cars. "Pleasant." He quipped. "Very pleasant." The cars were rapidly falling behind. No matter hwo many there were, they couldn't keep up with Archer. Turn left up ahead. Miko shot at her, his face as calm as ever. Bloackade to the right. Tanks.

Nym was really frustrated now. She waved the box cutter not very menacingly at all. "Now I don't have any control. I'm just a peon on the bottom rung. I have no control over the Biologists and Chemists. I'm a Physicist. You are just going to have to take whatever they do to you like a man...or beast. Whatever your kind are."

"I was like you until they did this to me."He said.He could have lived a normal life had those scientists not used him for experiments.It was one of his pet peeves when someone called him a gifted, unless they themselves were gifted.

Something about our extra passenger. Miko indicated the person Archer and Ruth had been 'interrogating.'

Nym growled. "I highly doubt that you were ever 'exactly' like me, kid. I don't give a damn. I'm going to have to get the government to pay me extra for catching you. My only job is to repair computers around here."

'Wonderful.' He sighed.'Might as well help them out.' He said walking towards where the car were heading.
Retto looked at the heavily damaged door.It was dammaged, but it was still to much for him to get through.If he was going to be captured he might as well get it over with.It would probably be less painful that way too.His hand went back to normal with several loud cracks...well as normal as it got.

Nym smiled. "Wow I'm better at this then I thought I would be. Now you keep saying that you are not supposed to be captured. If you sit tight like a good little boy, and we can get things straightened up. I don't have access to these things. And Omni didn't see anything. So just sit tight and I will get someone to run the data bases."

Omni heard every thing but, with his damage there was no point in going out there.He had uploaded his report to Nym's computer, along with a video of the etire happening.
Retto just sat in the corner shaking."What will they do to me?"He asked her starting to calm down.He was trying to thinnk of a way out.Doors locked, windows barred, walls hard.Nothing would work out.

Cladiaus looked through the reports and placed a call to Nym. "Has he been locked up yet?"
"No. Want me to?"
"'Do you want me to Supervisor Roma.' And no. Send him back."
Nymeria closed up her phone. "You are off the hook. I will let you outside."
Ana raced through the city in her twenty year old form. She knew who her contract said. It was Eva the agent that she had let get away. Go figure.
