Chisei hesitently grabbed it ,"Thanks..." she said as she placed it into one of her pockets.

Rolling her eyes a little, Riot reeved the bike and once Chisei was on sped after the other. They were still a couple of days away part of her just really wanted to get there and be done with it. The rest of her really just wanted sleep. "You are way to peppy this early." Riot muttered in Valkyrie's general direction.

"Well if one is to get anywhere in life, there is no use wasting half the time half asleep. It's either awake or asleep, nothing in between." Valkyrie stated with a huge grin on her face.
In side her head she sighed a breath of relefie. They had made it away in time. she glanced over her shoulder, and could make out the siiloet of a person looking around the campsight. She had avoided a full out paradox, something she did not have the experiance to deal with.

Val slowed down slightly when she reached the peak of the ridge. Looking down she saw a sight she had not expected. A little ways off there was a city, but this city had large dark black/brown walls that reached way into the sky. Every 20 feet or so there was a tower with fortifications and catipolt on the top. Dark black smoke rose from within the city, creating a dark cloud hanging over the city. The land surrounding the city was wasted, burnt, and muddy. There were no trees within 200 yards of the city. Where there was forest, it was if it had been cut away in one straight line, to create a circle of waste around the city. Val looked over at Riot. "I thought this place was supposed to be the center of trade."

Val frowned, Magic she knew didn't ruin the land quite this much.

The party walked foreward and soon they reached the gate. The gate was large iron and steel bars with spikes on the bottom. There was a larger wooden gate behind that. A small hole opened and an elderly face peered out. He quickly looked over the party. "Go away, you're not welcome here."
Val squinted up at the catipolts, thinking about Riot's mention of Magic. She murmered somthing quick, and suddenly she could see what the catipults really were. They were large gun like macheines that had hundreds of uzlles, pointing outside the city, and inside the city. There were more machines and different sorts of things stationed all over the top of the city. "Why is someone trying to hide this?" She murmered to herself, "Riot, look at the top of the walls again, what do you think?" Her spell ahd worked on all three of them.

"Hm? Oh.. but then why are they disguised? And why are they pointed into the city?" Val asked confused, normally turrets like that were used to protect a city, why would they point inward. A shudder ran down her back, she turned around, but saw nothing. "And here i thought we were going somewhere happy." I don't like this place...
A screach, like that of a pterodactyl rang from within the city. Val jumped, "Ok, please tell me you know what that is."

((yeah, i know waht your talking about.))

The elderly man peered at the badge. "oh.. I'm sorry miss, come right in. A small normal sized door appeared in the door, with just enough room for the motorcycle to fit through. As they passed through the door val stopped to contemplate the door, highly impressed, "There's no magic used in this, it's all clockwork!" She then hurried on to catch up with Riot and Cheisi. They were on a busy street, street venders and people croweded around. "Now this is more like it!" Val said, before realising that there was something compleatly wrong. Every one was silent, absolutly silent. She nudged Riot. "uh.... should i even bother asking?"

Val just looked even more confused. "What the?" She whispered, not wanting to disturb the silence. "Prophecy?"
