Confused and a little frustrated, Blizzardpaw picked up his prey and made his way back through the snow covered forest, following the paths made by the Thunderclan cats.
So, what was the point of burring prey, when I'm just gonna pick it up again two seconds later? He questioned himself a little irritated. He knew it couldn't be helped though, Icestar was the leader of the clan after all and she had a lot of duties.

Then he heard anoughter noise through the silent falling snow. Immediantly, Blizzardpaw droped into a hunting position and he recognised the scent that passed his nose.
What great luck! I smell a mouse! he thought to himself as he quietly came upon the small creature in the snow. The mouse was blissfully unaware of him... that is untill the wind changed direction blowing his scent past its whiskers.
Nooo! Blizzardpaw hissed as he made a break for the small critter. The mouse veered left and scrambled into a hole in the roots of a great maple tree. Blizzardpaw's head his the trunk hard and, fur on end, he slowly walked back to the dead squirrel.
Well, guess you can't win them all. he said as he headed back to the camp.

When he made it back, he dropped off his kill and sat on the outskirts of the camp to watch what the commotion was all about.

Autumnpaw cringed at the thought of hearing another cat's paw break. "Brutal" she mewed. She backed away from her mentor in order to try again.

Icestar nodded to Scarhead and padded over to Bronzepaw. She carefully sniffed her. "Come on," she mewed, nudging her forward. "Let's go see if Leopardpelt is in her den."

Spicepelt smiled. "Believe me, it's better than having your fur clawed off." She stretched. "It isn't that brutal. The only thing that disrespects Clan code is killing unessecary." She flexed her claws. "Let's go back to camp."

Bronzepaw looked at her flatenned tail. "It huuuuurts..." She yowled unhappily. "My tail is flat as the ground.." She tried to lick it, but drew back. "It tastes like crowfood!"

Spicepelt nodded. "That's their duty, to help their Clans." She smiled. "Though I still don't see why you'd' want to be a medicine cat, but I'm just not chosen for it."

Spicepelt nodded, and sniffed, confused. "Uh, Autumnpaw? Do you smell something odd, like blood?" She didn't wait for an answer and raced back to camp before she saw Bronzepaw. "Oh, Bronzepaw!" She yowled. She went over and looked at her tail. "What in great StarClan did you do?"
Bronzepaw looked at the deputy sheepishly. "Uh...Thunderpath ran over it." She mewed simply, and looked at her tail. "It hurts..."

Bronzepaw had to laugh, despite the burning pain in her tail. "First of many injuries." She tried to move her tail, but only brought an even more stinging pain. She winced. "It's not that bad. It was over in an instant."
Spicepelt went over. "You got run over by a monster, and exploring the territory as well!" She shook her head. "Bronzepaw, you're going to have many many injuries if you keep being as careless."
