Trith made a curious noise, and asked, Watch what? then watched as Datiath tumbled N'tren into Remia.
Remia had just been looking pleased at N'tren's compliment, and was about to downplay it a bit, for modesty's sake, when it happened. She didn't realize what had happened until N'tren was falling into her. Caught off guard, she lost her balance, and down they went, in a heap on the ground.
"Aaa--igh!" she cried, first in startlement, then having her breath forced out of her. A second to recover and get her bearings, and then she was blushing furiously as she realized their position.
"Ah.. uh... N'tren, are you okay? What happened?" she asked, not quite meeting his eyes, but still trying to help him up. Her blush hadn't faded yet.
Trith rumbled in amusement, her eyes whirling. Datiath was right. They didn't talk about it, they talked about everything but it. But she noticed how Remia didn't remove her hand right away after she helped N'tren to a sitting position.
Maybe they just need help, she said.

N'tren had fallen on top of Remia in a most embaressing position. After she helped him to be better situated, he glared at Datiath but said nothing. Yet. He looked over at Remia who was a very unbecoming shade of red and N'tren was sure he was the same shade.
"Yeah, I am fine. Datiath knocked into me and well..." He glared at his bronze. "Some dragon wasn't watching what he was doing."
Silly riders. Soon you and I will be a turn old. Almost grown and almost ready for a fighting wing. I wonder how long it will take our riders to grown. Datiath said much and rumbled little at his rider though he was very amused.
I am sorry, beloved. But perhaps you should take advantage of this?
N'tren groaned in frustration and amusement. "That is not what humans think is a joke, Dattie..."

Trith made a noncomittal noise. I do not know. Sometimes mine will act as though she is grown, and sometimes she acts like a hatchling. It must take longer for our riders to grow, she responded, and nudged Remia gently.
Remia giggled, still pink, when N'tren mentioned Datiath's 'joke', and said, "Well... some would. But probably those who it wasn't being played on at the time. It's alright N'tren, I'm... not upset." And, she was still holding his hand, albeit lightly enough that N'tren could pull away anytime.

A chill breeze ruffled Rinfala's hair as she stepped out into the bowl during a rare spot of 'free time.' No harness to mend, no weyr to tidy up, no dragon to oil. Not that she minded the work, dragonriders might be necessary to the defense of Pern but they still had to do chores like everyone else, despite what the holders might think.
