((No worries, I needed to post anyway.))

((Eh. I was going to wait to post her response until sufficient time had passed for her to come out of shock, is all. More than one person to post and all that, unless Haldis was going to address her as soon as she woke. xd And now, apparently not.))

For a moment the Erebus began to glow blue as the small points covering the ship began to charge up with a violent wave of energy. The Energy branched out, connecting in an orb and then pulsed outward in every direction, falling over every ship it came across like a large, glowing, blue net, that damaged electronics, shields and weakened hulls.

A.C.'s eyes flared bright enough to notice across the room, then closed as she stumbled to her knees and vomited in the closest near-empty box.

And thus were A.C.'s newly-thought up powers were forcibly activated.

Forde swore to himself as he entered the air-lock. "That man is going to die when I get back...." Forde muttered as the door closed behind him. He could see the gages and things on his suit working as the door opened and the air was sucked out. "Now to find this damn prison section."

Haldis raised an eyebrow and glanced in the direction of the screaming AC. "She wants her mother." She stated to Xeen in a flat voice, as if he could do anything about it, or cared anymore than the cold hearted stone. "As for what people you discuss, what makes you think I'm truly concerned about the lives of those at large. If anything I will be just disappointed to lose my entertainments."
"You are no different than the one before. You are no child, no human. You hardly understand the concept of 'Humanity' to play a very convincing human," Xeen paused, his crimson eyes lingering on the girl, "You are the stone, and I would appreciate your cooperation."

A.C. dragged herself up to a kneeling position, and fought her eyes open. It was like orange strobe-lighting in the bridge for a moment as she blinked the shock away, until she could finally keep them open. "The Rogue? Where's Lanita?"

"I know what I am, Soltari, as I know who you are." The girl smiled sweetly. "Your little girl never made it back to the bridge or the prison, did she?"

Haldis' eyes turned to AC. "I believe she is dead."

A.C.'s face turned sickly pale in the orange light. "No..." she whispered. The light from her eyes grew stronger, overpowering the ship's lighting.

Xeen cast a look between AC and Haldis.
"I aplogize for what you may take as theft of oppourtunity, woman, but I do need the girl," Xeen turned to the girl, and took her arm, closing his eyes, and focusing on the room in the prison, before reality collapsed on them, and they re-emerged in the Prison.

((0.o Which is the woman and which is the girl? They're both girls...

EDIT: Nvm.))

"What? Where did they go..? All those swirls..." The street kid reached out a hand towards the spot where Xeen and Haldis had stood.

On the bridge, A.C. was holding her eyes shut and flinching at nothing, begging her buddy Jeff to knock her unconscious. Even through her hands and eyelids, brilliant orange light pooled out.

With a ripple of color, Ora appeared on the bridge.

Ora pulled herself up to a stand, the machine suit functioning easily again. Her gaze moved to the girl who was struggling to keep the orange light contained in her eyelids. Ora's suit beeped slightly, but she said nothing.

"Dt'ret, no... please..." the girl sobbed, starting to rock back and forth. "Shut up, leave me alone... Jeff, please kill me or something..."

The older boy seemed at a loss, staring down at her in confusion. "A.C., come on! What's the problem? It's not that bad, is it? I mean, the light?"

"It's what I see... They're t... shut uuuuuup!!" she ended with a tortured scream. The street punk moved her hands to her ears desperately, but with only her eyelids to block it the light washed the room in bright orange. She shuddered and fell to her knees.

Ora quietly walked up to the girl and slapped her in the face. "Don't be a baby. Seeing things means very little, now shape up."

A.C.'s eyes snapped open in surprise, the light blinding everyone in the room without protection (Ora's suit visor counts as protection). She reached a hand towards Ora's face in awe. "They all say you're beautiful under that..."

Then she closed her eyes again and hugged herself with a shiver. "They want me to help them eat you. They s-s-say y-y-y-y-you do bad things..."

"People have always had a strange definition of beauty." Ora said in a soft and distant voice.

Ora stepped just out of reach of the hand. "They want you to help them eat me, do they? I do bad things?" A somewhat dark chuckle was muffled by the mask. "I did do bad things, I won't deny that. But if they want you to help them, it means they can't do it on their own, and if they can't do it on their own, they shouldn't be strong enough to persuade you. Grow a little backbone, kid, don't let voices push you around. Ninety-nine percent of the time, they can't do squat." A smile crossed Ora's face beneath the mask, as she repeated the same words that an old friend had once told to her. She was tempted to spit to the side at the end of the statement, just like Digger, but refrained herself.
