"Stop it!" He grabbed her by the arm; trying pull her away from the tree. He was completely lost. He had no idea how it's supposed to be for a lycan, so he couldn't really help her there. "Stop hurting yourself, or at lest wait till we get to the house." He knew he couldn't control her, but he wanted to help and the moon was disappearing behind the horizon. "Let get going." He said letting go of her.

"....yeah....." she shook her head and walked forward, looking into the darkness with hollow eyes. how many times would she have to relive pain? she had already been through being ripped apart and reconstructed three times. each more agonizing than the last....would the pain ever end? yes. yes, it will. she assured herself. you know better than to love this time. you know better. sighing, she continued on. "almost there..." she said quietly.

Zy continued to follow her; slightly angered. she may look like that woman, but acts completely different. Can you blame her? she's been through a lot. He thought to himself. after he calmed down and a few moments of silence passed, Zy began to hum the tune that his mother used to sing to him; unaware of what he was doing.

Shaon seized up as she heard the humming. she was only about four minutes from the house, but the tune just knocked her thoughts, and the breath, from her. she turned to him with wide eyes. she looked as if she'd seen a ghost, her skin was pale. "where did you hear that tune....?"

Zy stopped and looked at her; realizing he was just humming. " I- I don't know, must have been something i heard awhile back." he said; trying to think about it.

"I've heard that tune is Laruall, a big city with a giant cathedral. I was running from...i was running past the cathedral, and i heard the tune playng during mass. it's very far from here but I--" she then notcied the moon almost completely gone. "never mind! come on we're very close!" she began to run, but winced, and had to slow to a fast walk. they could make it in time, but she had to keep going. stopping coudl spell the death of Zy.

Laruall? "Careful!" zy warned Shaon when she started running. he was glade she slowed down as he quickened his pace. "If I have to, I'll carry you." He threatened half jokingly.

"I'd like to see you try." she stated dryly. "there it is." she walked up to the door and reached under the wooden steps, pulling out a dusty key. she blew it off and opened it, opening the door. "come on...excuse the sorry state it's in....i don't often come here." she walked in quietly, wrappign her cloak around herself. the room was dark, a few chairs knocked over. there was a faint smell of blood in it.

Zy walked in and looked around. "I couldn't tell, It looks so... homely." He joked around. Zy walked up to a chair that was on its side and picked it up; examining it to see if it would support his weight then sat down on it. "What were you saying about Laruall?" He asked her

"Laruall is one of the big remaining cities around this place. it's a few weeks travel from here on foot, traveling day and night. it's near a big lake and it has waterways in it with finely built bridges. everything is perfect...i think it was one of the areas that was enver hit by a vampire-lycan war." she picked chairs up and set them right. she then vanished from the room quickly and into her own, searching for something to wear. she pulled out a fresh, if dusty, pair of pants and a shirt. she put them on and folded Zy's up, setting it on the table. "it has quite a few churches there, but it's mostly know for its large cathedral." she flicked on a lamp and sighed, sitting back in one of the chairs and closing her eyes. "they are very relaxed there, but the guard there keeps everythign srict. they have ade it very clear that anything that is not a human is not welcome there."

After years of wondering what is past was, one would think the news of the city would be joyful news. However, slight fear Lingered around Zy as Shaon spoke. "I don't know about this, who ever I was back then I'm not anymore." Zy grabbed his shirt and looked at it. "I guess I have to burn this shirt now." He joked; trying to change the subject.

she shrugged, returning to her slightly let social side. "there's a fireplace, go ahead." she gestured to the unlit fireplace with matches above it. she pulled her cloak off and set it down beside her, sighing and staring blankly into the ceiling.

Zy sighed and put on his shirt; still warm from Shaon. "Shaon has no sense of humor." He said looking at Janan. He pulled out his small bible and began to read quietly.
