She watched him for a few minutes, catching one of the nightmares and reaching out and petting his head in a comforting matter. Eventually she could not help the fact that her eyes were closing because of how tired she was, but she would be damned if she would wake him up to keep an eye on her. She'd' be okay...Her eyes fluttered closed as she leaned into the corner and fell asleep.

Tsubame watched in the doorway as the group of friends settled in for the night. Not that anyone would probably object to two guys and a girl sleeping in the same room, it was still against the rules. She decided that it was better this way, however, and the company might keep each of their spirits high. Besides, if ever they suffer another attack, three of them working together is better than anything. She closed to door behind her and continued to her place.
The room seemed barely touched, though it was sort of disorganized. She put the covers on straight and put her things back in order. She neatly refolded the pile of clothes that she had taken out this morning, but didn't put away. Putting Yumiharizuki on a stand on top of her bookcase, she thanked him for helping her fight off the hollows. To Tsubame, she owed him her very life.
She lay down in her bed, thinking of all the possibilities of what could've happened differently if the Hollows didn't come. Maybe she'd still be studying higher level kidou, improving her zanpakuto skills. Tsubame tried to go to sleep but tossed and turned in her bed. Something was bothering her, but she could not get up due to stress and fatigue. She stared at the ceiling until her eyelids grew too heavy to keep open.

Earlier that day . . .
The professor saw that the only seniors who arrived numbered sparse. It seemed that they would have to use the fifth-rounders as well. They had no choice, it was for the safety of the rest of the students.
"As you heard, we are going to be conducting nightly patrols from now on." The instructor began, some of the seniors looked terrified of losing sleep, "It will be taken in shifts along with the fifth-rounders as well. Do not worry about losing sleeping hours. The first shift tonight will be done by the faculty, please go back to your rooms and have a good rest. That is all."

The students all nodded and went about their business, Makoto being no exception. He proceeded to his dormitory, making a beeline for the unkempt bed. The emerald-eyed Shinigami placed Lune-de-Sang in the corner closest to the headboard and pulled down the covers. He collapsed on the mattress, too tired to adjust his robes (let alone cover up!). Before losing consciousness, Makoto muttered, "Thanks for your help, my dear Lune-de-Sang."
She appeared at his bedside, removing her kitsune mask to reveal a warm smile. "It was the least I could do," she said, vanishing as quickly as she had appeared.
Makoto's eyelids fell closed.
((It's important to know that Lune-de-Sang rarely removes her mask.))

Magni Prime (( So . . . are we just gonna wake up on our own, or is there going to be a wake-up call? )) ((Hang on, sorry for the absence guys. I'll get it back on track now. I might be dumb, but Shikyotoshi, I don't really get your post o.o)) It hardly felt like she slept at all when Tsubame woke up the next morning, light streaming in from her window. Her head swirled around a bit but she got her bearings and stood up straight out of bed. Everything seemed like a horrid nightmare at first, but one look outside told her that everything was true. They were in the fabled Hueco Mundo now, and all prospects of getting saved seemed very slim.
A voice resonated once again throughout the school: "Normal classes will resume today. Classes will be condensed and the places shall be changed as well. Please check the announcements for further notice."
Tsubame wondered whether anyone even heard the Tenteikuura at all. It occurred to her that everyone could still be sleeping, due to fatigue and what not from the recent events. Everyone gave their best fight, it should be obvious that some people could very well still be tired or injured, and she wondered how the Academy would adapt to that.
Safely tying Yumiharizuki behind her, Tsubame stepped out of her room and towards the main hall once again, feeling oddly like deja vu.

Nirami hadn't slept well. He woke up several times, from dreams, or just from ill-ease. Eventually, he had carefully shifted Hans to the bed, and took the place by the wall, making sure to keep an eye on her while he was awake. He fell asleep once more, leaning against the wall, his head nodded forwards, and that lasted until morning. The light didn't bother him, for the most part, so he slept into the morning a bit, a frown creasing his lips, and his eyelids flickering.
His dreams... they were odd. Really odd. They flickered between memory, nightmare, and daydream as if someone was channel-surfing between them, sometimes halting on particular scenes, or otherwise just swapping them around. The nightmares and the recollection of the evening Hollow clash were what bothered him the most. They were what woke him up, and what made him sleep restlessly.
In the morning, he was still rather tired, and thus he managed to remain asleep, even if the bustle of other students slowly waking, and a Tenteikuura reached the room he, Charles, and Hans now shared for the time being. With the sun came a light peace in his dreams, and thus he could rest slightly more at ease.

Maroon bolted on the meeting the previous night, and such as every breathing day of his life, didn’t sleep. When at constant war with multiple voices inside the head aside from one’s own, there is little room for a novel concept such as sleep. Much bickering had been done, as Chamo felt obliged to detail Maroon’s significant downfall in this plot to merge with others as a science project. Sure, these children were odd, but there were some chances he would be found out: the captains. Maroon knew them all, ex-captains and captains who were still in the Gotei-13; the captains likewise knew Maroon, his reputation as one of the most extremely special ranked officers oft preceded him. He found his way to the classroom assigned to the institute’s teacher he’d killed and buried. It was just his luck that he found himself in a class specializing with physical technique rather than some form of what he called “moopgick” a combination of moop and magic. He was almost 100% inept at moopgick, only knowing the Hollow’s technique Cero, and one other special attack which solely rested with Ombra’marmitta.
Maroon sat on the ceiling, as it was the most comfortable place he could find, his hair groping his head with its crimson shade. “I hope they’re either not the older of the children” Maroon sighed to himself, “I would hate not to torture the infants!” Maroon squealed in joy, not realizing how loud he was. He shivered with giggles, his tongue extruding the mouth. He situated himself as if he were lying down, only on the ceiling. He started to pound and kick at it like he expected the supposed students he were to teach. “Hahaha, I hope they’ll accept me, or I could just spank them into shape like I did with Kuchiki-taichou! Tee-HEE!” Maroon inhaled only after making his face blue, cheeks puffed with air. With a rigid twitch, his body was thrown into the wall violently. “Shut UP! You nitwit! I will rip out your spinal cord if you wake me up again! Damn you, you stupid … um … whatever you are! How did I end up in this freak’s body again!?” threateningly, Chamo sighed at his unfortunate predicament. “God, how freaken’ horrible must it be if you even annoy your own frickin’ personalities!?” His body lay limp in the middle of the class room, one leg extended out perpendicular to his body, the other wrapped around a desk. His arms, dislocated from their sockets, were tangled underneath his back, and the grin on his face reached as wide as possible, perhaps from ear to ear. He had taken control over his body again, but Maroon decided that he would scare the children as a practical joke. He had learned this very same joke from his former mentor, Kisuke-taichou.

Charles lay sprawled out like a traffic victim. Arms and legs are spread haphazard in any direction that they can reach, and it is a miracle that he isn't snoring like mad. Still, a silken voice in his mind wakes him gently. Rising up from the bed, he rubs his eyes as if in denial of the day, but feeling a great deal better than before. Looking off to the side, he sees his 'friends'.
Perhaps that is too hopeful of a title, but it beats the hell out of 'comrades' or 'allies' in this place. Being so physically imposing makes creating friendships much harder among a bunch of kids. Instead, he seems to have at least two that welcome his company. Staying quiet, he eyes up both Hans as she rested, and then notices Nirami is actually half-asleep. the thought of putting him in bed crosses his mind, but it might just wake him up more.
When the announcement reaches his ears, Charles ignores it. After such a life-altering event as what has happened to them, they will have to cut some slack. Despite desperately wanting to learn how to use Aitourensa better, keeping an eye on these two is so much more important to him than classes.

Hans groaned softly in her sleep as she twitched from the sunlight filtering in through the window. She really didn't want to wake up, but the voice over that came through building made that impossible. She jolted up in the bed panting a bit and gave a slight shudder at the pain coursing through her head at the sudden movement that caused her to curl up with a slight whimper and hold the back of her head gingerly. Muttered curses filtering around the bundle of clothes wrapped around her. She didn't even look at the other two and just laid back down holding her head and trying her best not to cry. She really was quite the pansy when it came down to pain, no matter how much she tried to show off that she was a tough girl who would take on anybody.

Shuffling across the room, Charles smiles softly in concern. "I would really watch those sudden movements, kiddo. You got more than just a light tap on the noggin yesterday." Trying to tuck her back in a bit, he tries to offer any comfort he can. Goodness knows he would like to stay in bed when suddenly woken up like that!

Kiyoshi fell back into consciousness once again. The world seemed to lurch as he sat up, blood rushing to his head. Blackness took over his vision for a moment as he felt his head scream as the pain hit him again. His vision cleared as he stumbled to the door, waiting for the ringing in his ears to fade. Students rushed to their classes, many acting as if nothing happened. guess some things aren't worth remembering... The world finally pulled itself together, everything stopped spinning and his senses became sensible. Kiyoshi turned to a passing student. "Whats going on?" "didn't you hear the announcement? we are to resume classes as usual." Kiyoshi wandered to his normal classes.
(I hope this is better than my last attempt, I have an odd writing style sometimes. If you still don't like it you'll have to be more specific on what bugs/confuses you))

She peaked out at Charles from between her arms as he tried to tuck her back in. "No" she said, "leave it off, I was starting to over heat anyway..." She mentally prepared herself and then sat up slowly, making sure she didn't make any real sudden movements. She looked at Charles and gave him a smile, "thanks," she said softly and looked down at where she had been lying in the bed and then over to Nirami who was in the spot she had had that night. "Prat must have moved me..." she frowned at him and huffed. She picked up the blanket and put it on Nirami, seeing as he was still asleep. "Need to get up anyway, didn't they say something about going to class? I didn't quite catch all of what they said, I was focusing to much on the explosion in my brain at the time" she spoke dryly and stood up beginning to move around the room haphazardly.

"Yeah, they did make a call to 'normalcy,' but I plan on ignoring it for a bit." The goofy smile back on his face, he just takes a seat in a clear spot, leaving the bed unoccupied hoping that if she needs it, Hans has the opportunity.
"Given what we did yesterday, I figure they owe us some damned leniency and time to get used to the world again!" His tone is just as light, even if much softer so as not to disturb his pseudo-roomies.

She stopped and cocked her head to the side listening to him and then shrugged. "Yeah, they should cut us a break, but then again you also have to think about the fact that they are preparing us to become Shinigami. We won't get a break then, why should we get one now?" she shrugged. Her voice sounded serious, but only because she was tired. The more out of it she was, the more serious she got, so it would be understandable that she would be rather down to earth and seeing things from a different point of few.
"Normalcy...that word doesn't exist in this place on any level" she shook her head and yawned looking around with a confused expression on her face. "Crap....what was going to do? Damn...." she didn't remember and instead just turned back and sat back down on the bed and rubbed at her eyes.
