Elli trotted over and nosed the spotted cub with red flakes and feathers. The "Best Huntress" remark made her like the young thing, despite her slightly standoffish nature.
"If you like.. I can take you on the hunt with Illitashia."
She nodded to the Rose Vision that danced just beyond them, eager to hunt. "You can have a few lessons, and help us bring back a kill."

She jumped, hearing Elli behind her, but then, she became overly excited when she said she could go with them on a hunt. "That would be cool." she said, trying to stay calm, which she did, barely.

Rackna smiled to all the new cubs, then looked over to Elli as she approached. He chuckled softly at her request, and nodded, his golden mane bouncing around his dark scarlet face.
"Of course you may hunt my dear. With all these new little ones, we'll need all the food we can get!"
Solio gently set the small cub down just inside the dark grass boarder, and she glanced around quickly for another cub to let Tay play with. Seeing none, she looked down at the cub, a smile stretching across her face. She stepped carefully over the cub, her eyes spotting the others just beyond the grass. She heard their plans for hide-and-seek, and smiled to Tay.
"You go hide in the grass, and jump out when the other cubs come in. You'll give them quite the surprise."
She whispered eagerly, then smiled reassuringly.
"But only if you want to."
Brazen looked truly shocked at the idea of not knowing how to play hide-and-seek. He crouched down infront of the little cubs, a devilish smirk on his face.
"It's a daring game of survival! I've they never find you, you'll just sit there forever! That's what happens when Rellick is the seeker."
He announced jovally, pawing at his brother in a playful manner.

Briseis sat calmly by Rackna's side, watching the game. Unwanting to play and just sit in her comfort zone knowing she would be fine if she stayed where she was.
She tilted her head intrigued at the cubs. She pawed at the ground with her dirt caked paw. A soft pink tounge licked around her lips as she started thinking about food again. She looked up and peered at Rackna with her deep blue eyes, wondering what he did for fun.

Rackna glanced down at the small, delicatly patterned cub that stayed close by his side. Smiling, he watched as she surveyed the others, then glanced up at him.
"Food shall be coming soon. If I know these lionesses, it won't take long."
He smiled to his mate, his heart speeding up at the sight of her. She still took his breath away... Snapping out of his daydream, he cocked an eyebrow at Brazen, and chuckled. It was funny how traits could could pass from father to son...

Elli smiled at Areli and nodded, her gaze finding its way back to Rackna. She smiled at him, and gave a deep nod, before trotting toward Illitashia.
"Shall we hunt then?"
Illitashia eyed the young cub.
"Aspiring Huntress?" She asked kindly.
Rellick growled indignantly and knocked at Brazen's ear with his forepaws, sitting up on his haunches and batting at his brother's flakes. "I won the last game thank you very much Prince Suncoat..."
Jadera humpfed to herself in the grass. "No you didn't.. I did."

Brooke had to let out the slightest smile. Rellick was such a carefree spirit, quite unlike herself. She pranced after Rellick, her steps bearing every bit of confidence, as calculated as ever, she had gathered over the wandering she had done.
'Love the game? That might be an understatement. I love stalking things.' She said, grinning slightly. 'I might stay.' She added with a thoughtful shrug.

Rellick grinned. "GREAT! Can't wait to get it started."
He turned toward the grass and sped up slightly, espying his sister's golden eyes. With a leap he lurched into the emerald curtain and pounced Jadera.
"RELL!" She yelped. "GET OFF!"
Rellick laughed and snapped at her ear, nudging her with a paw as he drew away. "Sis.. This is Brooke. Brooke, my sister Jadera, Princess of these lands."
Jadera shook off her coat and shot her brother a glare before bowing. "Nice to meet you Brooke, I belive you will be joining our game?"

The word 'hunting' made Kish'ya shiver. As excited as she was to learn ot hunt, she also wasn't excited. While she knew the hunting party wold never let a cub get hurt, it still made her nervous to be out where she knew any animal would see a cub as an easy target. She had a look of puzzlemnt on her face as she thought all of this over.

Brooke was tensing up again slightly, out of pure instinct. Too many lions. It made her feel crowded. She gave herself a good shake. Perhaps that would shake her out of it.
She followed Rellick at a barely visibly jerky trot, a smile on her muzzle, as genuine as she could make it seem.
'Princess, huh?' Brooke nodded thoughtfully. 'Y'know, I might be good at finding green stuff too.'

Areli nodded to Elli and Illitashia, extending her claws, so ready to get going. She growled playfully. "So, when do we go" she grinned.

Tay-yibah glanced back at the blue lioness. "I would like to watch them, Solio-mother." She leaned against one leg, purring softly.

Elli patted the young femme on the head with a jade paw and shook her head. "So eager young Areli."
Illiatshia laughed and turned toward the plain, drawing on her hind legs in a rear and then leaping into a graceful stride. She laughed over her shoulder and then sped off into the plains. "Come and hunt JadeQueen, if you can keep up!"
It was an old game, one they had played when traveling before their kits were born. Elli smiled and reared, smiling down at Areli. "Ready to go?"
She landed on all fours and danced in place, eager to be off. "Can you keep up?"

"Of corse I can!" she sneered, as she bolted off, in the same direction as Illiatshia, then glanced back at Elli. "I think the right question is: Can you keep up!" she smirked, looking forward again, continueing to trot after Illi.

"Indeed."Elli eyed the cocky cub and growled softly, speeding into an all out run.
Ahead, Illitashia was doing the same, angled toward an antelope that was tangled in a briar snare. The frail creature thrashed, its leg caught fast. Illitashia smiled at Elli and pulled to one side, leaping for its throat as Elli attached her claws in its rump. The antelope threw its head back in time for Illitashia to lock her jaws into its throat.
Elli clung to its hindquarters as it tried to rear and buck. Fiesty, but dying.
