Cindy took the cup with a giggle, "Well to be fair, the water tends to jostle around a lot. I'm fine as long as I'm not going up the stairs with it."
She of course was use to dealing with full cups, back when the inn was nice and busy.

Donovan smirked at Elrohir for a moment, "That's why it's strange, because it is the most normal thing I've ever heard. Elrohir, I live with an angel," he pointed out, "Large bird wings," he raised a brow, "You kind of grow desensitized to it after a while. Well then again it's not like the whole idea is anything new to me."

Triton laughed at that, partly because it found it funny and partly because this was only the beginning and Triton knew that for certain.
"I was born like this," Triton replied back, "My people are called Nekos, and before we get into the language different, it means cat in Japanese."

Haradhel smiled. "To be fair, I didn't do much at all when I was a child," she murmured.
She held her hand over Cindy's cup, and a moment later it was filled with fresh, cold water. Then she filled her own glass in the same method.
"Cheers," she smiled, lifting it and taking a sip.
Elrohir shrugged. "They didn't look like birds wings to me," he replied evenly. "Only Cindy's wings remind me of a bird. I couldn't say why, though. And really, when it comes to gifts, there's almost no limit to what they might be."
He grinned at Triton. "Aye ... this is one time when you wouldn't have to worry about translation issues. Neko is a High Elven word, the Westlanders speak Common Elvish, which is completely different. Actually, we have to speak the Common Tongue here all the time because otherwise we wouldn't be able to understand them, nor they us."

Amdir chuckled a bit. "Well, thank you for the explanation, Elrohir. I was a little confused there for a moment."
He looked at Triton again. "And I assume then that Japanese is yet another language, but one of your world, then?"

"Cheers," Cindy murmured taking a sip.
Seeing Haradhel use her abilites was quite interesting to Cindy. Espeically since she was use to seeing all types of magic, even though she didn't really practice any herself.
"Not much?" Cindy asked.

"To be fair Cindy is actually part bird and not another form of an angel," Donovan replied back thoughtfully.
He mused on this bit of information, well it looks like things got interesting. This was the biggest thing he had heard in about diversity yet.
"I'll keep that in mind, you'd think dealing with a mixture of fighters and mages back home it wouldn't surprise me."

"Yes," Triton nodded, "It is.. one of the languages spoken back home, well for my home anyways. We call Common Tongue, English.. and I think... for some of us the only other language that gets thrown around is Chinese."

Haradhel hesitated between sips and replied softly, "My father ... didn't let me do very much. I was always abnormally thin, so all I was allowed to do were the domestic things my mother did with me. Sewing, cooking, cleaning ... that was about it. I was never allowed to play outside, or with other children, and my only escape was reading, whenever I could get my hands on a book."
Then she smiled. "But that's all in the past. I have more now than I could ever have dreamed of ... never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that someone might love me ... and yet, here I am ... already expecting my first child!" She laughed.

Amdir smiled and noddedk then turned back to the training pen, where the horse was beginning to stamp its feet.
"I have to get back to work," he said apologetically, motioning to the horse. "But perhaps I'll see you later, yes?"

Cindy smiled at that, she was glad that things turned out fine then. She couldn't imagine not being allowed to learn the way she wanted to. Their mother hadn't held them back even when she was not able to teach the things they had wanted to learn. That is what the school was for after all.
"You're very giddy with excitement, about the child," Cindy noted.

Donovan nodded, noting that the horse was getting impatient, at least that's what it looked like.
"Yes, that would be most likely," Donovan agreed, "I'll probably see you later."
Since he was going to be around for quite sometime.

Triton smiled as he waved slightly, "It was good talking to you."
He wondered how Donovan was going to remember everyone, but then again the man did seem ot have a mind like a trap at times. At least he wouldn't have to remember everyone's name every single time he came back.

"Likewise," Amdír replied with a warm smile. He put two fingers to his forehead and bowed, then waved and headed back to the training pen where the horse was indeed growing very impatient.

Haradhel laughed, and her eyes lit up brightly. "I am," she agreed with a girlish giggle. "But some of it, I believe, is also nervousness. I mean ... a pregnancy at any time can be risky, and I know I don't have the best body type ... in that respect, I do agree that I'm too thin. But I trust Ulani to help me however she can, and she has promised to, so that's not my biggest worry."
She finished her water and set her glass on the desk. "My biggest worry," she confided, "is that I may not be a good mother. After all, I had no one to look up to, really, neither of my parents were good role models. I'm certain Elrohir will be a great father, though ... he may not have known his own father for long, but still ... he had a good family situation growing up."
Her voice grew softer as she spoke, and when she had finished she smiled faintly, staring into the distance at nothing at all.
"See you later, Amdír," Elrohir called; then he turned back to Donovan and Triton and smiled. "So. Next the stable proper, correct?"
