"I forget that Merryn knows the rest of the bunch sometimes", she said with a chuckle. She hugged her knees close to her body and sighed.
"So where are you staying?", she asked looking out into the lake once more.

"Nowhere as of yet, but I'm sure I'll find something. If not, the beach would be very peaceful at night, I'm sure."

Kel grinned cheerfully. "Not to worry, I have a tent in my gear, as well as a small heater to keep the chill out." She nodded to a rucksack dropped on the sand nearby.

"Hm.. How would you feel about staying with me at the bookstore?", she asked.
"To be honest, I think it might be fun.. You're related to my lovies, and so you'd be close by. Not to mention that the boys have work to do alot of the time.. which leaves me by myself, I would quite enjoy the company. I don't think 'Ric would mind, he's encharge of who stays and goes, of course.. It's up to you.", she smiled warmly.

Kel giggled as she thought of surprising her cousins by showing up with Lacuna.

Kel stood and walked over to her belongings, slipping her shoes and socks back on before hefting her bag over her shoulder.
"Lead on roomie" she nodded with a grin.

Shinji and Lena were orbed to a few yards from the water, standing as they were in the house. Shinji glanced around and looked to Lena, smiling as he moved to set the items down near himself and spread out the blankets.

Lena smiled brightly and kissed Shinji quickly on the cheek before sitting down. "It's so pretty out here..." she said as she looked around.

Shinji gazed to the water a moment with a faded smile, as if lost in thoughts before looking to Lena and nodding in agreement. Yes...yes it is. He seated himself so that he could face her and pulled the basket closer to them so she could reach into it as well. He removed a sandwich and offered it to her as he moved to get her a drink as well.

Lena took the sandwich before asking "Something wrong, love...?" she'd noticed he didn't seem to be very happy.

No, not at all, angel...Shinji cooed, smiling and leaning close to kiss her lips softly, briefly. Just thinking of things... Back home, he didn't have woods or a lake, merely a garden and a pond.
