Just seconds before Riyo was lifted out of the water by the large bull, she had stopped moving. Her body was just a little on the limp side as she was pulled out of the water. Which would explain why she didn't move after Gunnar put her down.

'This the way you're gonna go?'

A similar voice asked, to which Riyo didn't respond.

'I don't think so. Whether you like it or not... You belong to me. You will never escape from my suffocating embrace.'

The voice hissed. Riyo's body started shaking in fear as the voice spoke to her.

'I've been keeping these burdens from you long enough. It's time you started waking up.'

At the last comment, Riyo sat up. Her eyes shot open and for a split second, appeared to glow. But it quickly faded out. She looked around for a moment, unfamiliar to where she was, then froze. She.. Couldn't breathe. There was enough water in her lungs to fill up a small fish bowl. Then, a greusome image flashed through her mind, and automatically caused her to cough up all the water. She gasped for air and slowly settled down.. But.. Why did her heart ache?

It was as if her mind recalled something tragic, but refused to tell her its findings. What... Had she done? Something horrible... Something terrible. She frowned as her eyes blankly stared at the ground in front of her. She had lost interest in her surroundings. A more important question echoed in her mind, and continued to go unanswered. Was it that hard to think of? Or was she just too afraid to know? "Mo-ther..." She mumbled incoherantly, not exactly realizing what the term meant.

Gunnar remained knelt by the two girls that he just pulled from the water. He saw that Riyo seemed to have recovered more or less, well she was breathing anyhow. He then turned his attention to the new girl that he had just pulled from the water, what was she doing in there and what the hell happened down there in the river?

He scanned her over quickly seeing if she were a threat, determining that she wasn't a big problem he proceded to look for a pulse on her neck to see if she were even still alive.

Riyo looked over at Yuki blankly as he approached. And continued to watch him as he bent down. But something seemed to change as he lifted her up. It wasn't in appearance, per say, but more with the aura she carried. As Yuki stood her up, her pupils became small slits.

Then he spoke to her. For a moment, she simply stood there quietly. Then a grin overtook her face. She closed the small gap inbetween them, using one hand to grab his shirt, and the other to draw his head closer, as if to tell him a secret.

"I killed them all." She whispered into his ear, barely loud enough for him to hear it. "Each. And every. One." Her grin stayed for a moment, then her body jerked. She blinked, and everything was gone.

A thoroughly confused Riyo looked around. Where was she? And how had she gotten out of the river? She blinked and backed away from Yuki. Had he saved her? She stared at him and tilted her head. "M'nyu?" She asked. Her eyes showing no recollection of what had just happened.

"Are you sure? What if she fell into the river?" Hitsu whimpered, following Neko without complaint, peering toward the water as they grew closer.

There was an initial bit of confusion as Yuki locked gaze with Riyo. Her eyes had changed, but he took little time to think about such a thing. She was feline as he was, after all, and their pupils were prone to shifting depending on light and mood. However, what happened thereafter was far from expected, and as she grinned Yuki felt uneasy. Something didn't feel right. As low as her whispering might have been, he caught every word. His eyes grew wide, and even before Riyo had snapped back to her previous mindset Yuki had begun to back away as soon as she'd released her grasp. Killed them all? Killed who?

"We n-need to keep moving." Yuki said, struggling just briefly with his words. He made an effort to look away from his sister and Neko, hoping to save being questioned if they caught his expression. Originally, he was only worried about the one who might be searching for them. Now, he wasn't so sure about one of the persons already in their company. He'd have to keep an eye on her.

"Ugghhh" A groan escaped her lips as her mind slowly moved back into the conscious world. She sat up with one hand holding her head and the other scraping the mud away from her eyes. "electric shocks..... it always has to be electric shocks......" She mumbled.

Her mind then registered the fact that the last time she was awake there was alot of screaming, and looking up she noticed a fair few people here that she hadn't seen before. For a few seconds she sat there staring at the group before suddenly jumping to her feet and moving backwards to put distance between herself and them. However she had managed to jump back to the edge of the bank, and her foot slipped and sent her falling into the water again.

After a few seconds of being submerged, the water seemed to explode as she managed to propel her body onto the bank just like a penguin could. She dropped into a fighting stance and faced the group before her. "Alright, what the hell's going on?!" she barked at them. "Who the hell are you, and what was all that screaming about?!"

It would have been hard to take her seriously. For most of the mud had now been washed off. What stood before them was a young woman who only wore a pair of soaked jeans over a one peice swimsuit. A tail could also be seen from behind her, and her webbed ears seemed to flip back and forth. The girl looked more like a cuddly puppy then a person who was ready for a fight.

Hearing Yuki stammer didn’t give Neko a good feeling about what he thought he heard Riyo say. Casting a questioning glance to Yuki he only nodded. “Yeah, it would be better to make it to town before night falls. More dangers lurk in these woods when the moon is up.” He was about to move on and leave the mud creature where it was until she awoke and freaked out. After washing most of the mud off after having fallen back into the river, Neko stared at the young girl now revealed through the mud. Smiling he went on to say, “Well, well, I’m pleased to see there was a pretty face hidden under all the mud.” He left it at that, he didn’t bother to explain further that she had been the cause of the uproar.

Sliding down the riverbank, Mitsu nearly fell into the water but stopped just in time. Looking back she could just barely see the group still standing close to the water’s edge. They all seemed to be distracted so she needed to act fast. Easing into the cold water, Mitsu’s goal was to get to the other side of the river to make her way on down stream. With any luck the water would loose her scent and keep her from being tracked too easily. Once half way in Mitsu realize the current was a little stronger here than it had been further up, but it didn’t seem to bother her too much as she dived right in and started to make her way across. She surfaced half way over and fought against the current as it pulled her down stream. It was a few moments of struggle but she finally made it across and dragged herself ashore crawling into the brush to hide herself.

Shaking off to free herself of as much water as possible, she began to ring out her clothing to avoid getting too cold. It was going to be a long walk and she knew it would be a walk better spent not soaking wet.

At the sound of all the screaming, Riyo looked back to the scene. Her eyes narrowed upon the girl who was yelling at everyone. Yes. The yelling bothered her greatly, but another gear was turning in her mind. She looked down at the bite she had recieved moments prior and compared. If there was anything or anyone else in the river with her, Riyo would have to apologize for her actions, but for now she was pretty damn sure that was the girl who had terrified the s**t out of her.

Without another thought, she stood. Her eyes were blazing with anger. She took off in a run and without really thinking, made a jump as she reached the end of the bank and lunged for the yelling girl. "M'NYU!" She screamed and bit into her shoulder as they were going down into the water.
