Lucas jumped and swore, pulling his hand out of the water and shaking it off. "Oh hey... You finally got home..." He didn't sound angry but you could tell he was, be it from getting burned of her not being there he didn't know.
Turning he went back to plating dinner, not looking at her.

Tinania nods before she steps away "Um..yea I'm gonna go wash up then." shaking her head she turns slipping out of the kitchen. She could tell her was angry, just because he wasn't looking at her. Sighing she bends down picking up her two bags as she steps into the bathroom.
Leaning against the door she closes her eyes. She wasn't use to having a guy wonder where she was, or angry at her. Her ex never got angry at her, to him she couldn't do anything wrong. Sometimes she wonder if that why they fell apart, she was growing tired of being perfect.
Splashing some water onto her face she put out the light green sweater. Tugging out of his top she tosses it over the bar near the shower. Pulling the sweater on, she opens the door peeking her head out.
Stepping back towards the kitchen she leans against the wall watching Lucas for a moment "So um, how was work?"

"Alright..." Lucas said, slamming down a glass and starting to fill it with ale. "Nothing happened, the skies were clear and there was nothing to track... All and all a dull day..."
Shaking his head he slammed his ale and poured another. Then poured one for Tinania.
Moving out to the kitchen he still wasn't looking at her, and the profile of his face could show that he was angry, he was actually glowering.
He plaed teh food and drinks on the table and sat, looking down at his plate.
"By all means... Sit..." He grumped, pikcing at his food.

Tinania frowns before she shakes her head "I rather not." turning away from him she walks out of the kitchen heading towards the front door. Looking over her shoulder she frowns looking right at him "I'll come back when you not in such a bad mood." pulling the door open she steps out before closing it behind her.

Lucas sighed and shook his head, sitting there in his chair. He stood and haded to the door, walking out to try and catch her. "Tinania wait!" He called, finally getting a good look at her, as he moved after her.
"Look... I'm sorry... I was just worried you'd gotten lost... Or... had left..." He said, looking away. "I mean... Not that I didn't trust you I was just worried... So I got angry..."

Tinania stops looking at him, crossing her arms under her chest "I decided to go walking around while i waited for you. I was over at the clothing shop picking up a few things as I don't have anything warm to wear. Why would I leave, you said it yourself I can't go back the way I came." looking at him confused she was now the one getting angry.
Why didn't anyone trust her? First her ex and now Lucas, she was beginning to wonder. Looking away she sighs "I think I'm gonna go for a walk anyways, let you cool off."

Lucas sighed. "Tinania... Please don't go..." He looked down at his feet. "I'm sorry..." Looking up at her he smiled weakly. "Let's just go back to the house and eat dinner before it get's cold?"
He held out his hand to her, and smiled weakly, hoping to get her to change her mind. "I guess I overreacted I'm sorry... It's just... It's been a long time since I've been in a realtionship..."
At least... He thought that's what they were... I mean... They had slept together...

Tinania pauses in mid step, looking over her shoulder her jaw had dropped just a bit. She wasn't sure what to say actually. Turning back towards him she shook her head before biting at her bottom lip "I must be dreaming, because only yesterday you were fighting with me. Did you really just say...?"
She couldn't say the word, just because she didn't want to be wrong. Looking at his hand she looks back up at him. She didn't move, not that she could. She felt weak slightly.

"I mean... I thought we were in a relationship... If you don't want to be... That's fine..." He stood there with his hand out, but you could tell his face was troubled. "I've never... Well... I've never bedded a girl I was not courting... and it's been years since I've last courted... if times have changed..."
He looked her up and down. "I... I don't know... I think I could come to love you..." He chewed his cheek. "I mean... Well... Gods be damned... You aren't as much of a spoiled brat as I thought you were... I don't think I ever really hated you... people fight... you're an attractive woman, and we're going to be around each other a lot... I see fights in the future... Like tonight..."

Tinania seem to pale at the word love, taking a step back she shook her head "Lucas you barely know me, and all we did was sleep together. It was sex nothing more. Were just friends right?" even though she was saying this, her face was ratting her out as well as her eyes.
She knew full well they weren't just friends, or the fact that they were just friends. She knew him, just because she could read a person well. Part of her wanted to try something with him, just because they would be around eachother for a long time.
The other half was scared, because when spring returned she would have to head home. Could she honestly return home if she well in love with the man in front of her?

Lucas sighed. "I don't know how I feel about you Tinania... I like you, I mean... Well... I like your body, and you're not that hard to get along with when you're not being a brat... With time... and getting to know you... I don't know what could happen, and I'm not sure I really fear what may come of it... You're going to be here with me for a decent amount of time... If... If we're going to be sleeping together that whole time... I don't know... That would be wrong if we are only... friends..."
Shaking his head slowly. "Maybe last night was a mistake... Maybe we shouldn't have done that I don't know... I shouldn't have compromised you like that... I... I am sorry I tainted your honor..." Bowing his head he dropped to his knee and looked at her feet. "I ask your forgiveness..."
His hands were shaking as he knelt there. "I... Don't know... If last night was wrong... Because it felt so right. No... I take that back... It felt good."

Tinania shook her head before looking stepping away from him "Lucas your being foolish. Friends can have casual sex, it happens all the time. Then they go there own ways. Just like we will come spring." she was a deep red in the face as she turns away from him.
Shaking her head she sighs "Last night was a mistake Lucas, one that will not happen again. I will sleep on the couch from now one." with that said she walks away from him heading down the street.
She couldn't think, she didn't know what was coming over her. She was pushing him away, just because she didn't want to get hurt again. But at the same time when she was with him she felt like she filled with life.
Just because he was willing to fight back, but this Lucas right now. he reminded her way to much of her ex. He was trying to make her happy, but she didn't want that. She wanted someone real.

Lucas growled low in his throat as she walked away. "GODS BE DAMNED TINANIA NOT WITH ME!" He stood, not realizing he was shouting. A few lights clicked on and of in the distance you could hear the town watch starting to move into the area to check out the disturbance. "I do not just have 'casual sex', I'm sorry, but what I did with you meant something to me, and I'll be damned if I'll let you walk all over that... It might have not meant anything to you... But I have had hell today at work because I was late... Because I wanted to be with you... Oh I'm sure my fellow Rangers knew why I was late... How could they not a girl such as yourself... So beautiful and exotic and new! Oh they knew I'd not slept with a girl in the past six years and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they'd kept a pot to see when I would break down and bed you..."
He stormed after her in a rage, his eyes were fire and his face was anger pure and wrathful.
"I took you into my home because I had no other choice... I took you into my bed by MY choice alone, gods be damned if I did not think about it, did not fight it to start... But then I realized you were a good person... I won't lie... Part of it was my body reacting to willing participant, but I'll be damned if it didn't mean something to me to be wanted!"
He grabbed her by the arm and spun her around looking her in the face. "You will not walk out of me Tinania, not out on Lucas, no, not today, not tomorrow, not EVER! I was worried about you, I was angry because you were not home and I planned to surprise you when I got there... But you weren't THERE, and I was worried I'd done something wrong.. I said I was sorry but obviously that's not enough for you... Do I have to grovel? BEG?!"
By now several doors were open and people were staring at them, but Lucas didn't seem to care.
"I thought maybe I found someone who understood me..." His voice dropped to a low, angry whisper. "I guess I was wrong."
He let go of her arm and turned, heading back towards his house. "Go if you want... I'm going home."

Tinania stood there watching him walk away, she didn't know how to react at this point. Everytime she ever got pissed she was allowed to walk away, but this time she instead he came after her, and told her off. Looking around at the people she was embrassed as she looks down at the ground.
She knew she should have just went back to Lucas, but with her pride just getting smacked down pretty hard she couldn't. Balling her fist up she was kicking herself as she thought over everything he just said. he was right she understood him, just as he knew her well enough. that was what sacred her.
Shaking her head she looks up again "I don't want to get hurt again Lucas, I'm scared. I'm scared that come spring that I will have fallen for you, then I'll be hurt again. I can't handle that, not again." he voice wasn't loud, but she knew he would be able to hear her.
"Lucas..please...I don't want to be hurt again." instead on him begging, this time she was the one begging.

Lucas stood and turned his head, looking at her over his shoulder. "If you feel in love with me, what makes you think I wouldn't let you stay if you wanted... What makes you think I would ask you to go... If you feel in love with me, how hard would it be for me to fall in love with you? Or would I go with you? Or would we find a place for ourselves somewhere... I don't know the answers to these things Tinania... No one does..."
Turning he looked at her, his eyes hard, but if she looked deeper she could see his feelings. "All I know is that I liked what happened between us... It made me feel good in a way I've not in a long time... But I can't just... GIVE that away Tinania... It is not who I am... I don't know who the last man you were with was, or what he was like... But I am NOT him... I can't ever BE him..."
Sighing his shook his head. "Either come with me or go... The choice is yours..."
He turned again and kept walking.
