Star raised her own eyebrows at this. Who was this..Jenny? hmmm...interesting. Star glared at him and left the room again. So Cris hasn't been a good friend latley, has he? well, thats too bad..oh well. Star thought to herself, not really caring.

Sylvia couldn't hear anything, she was listening to the blaring music of her Iphone before it started ringing it's self. She sighed, stopping the music and and answering the phone.
"Yeah. . . ? No. . . One, his name is Garrett, not really a friend. No, can't say that I have." she was saying, a squeal coming from the phone as the girl on the other line became excited. "Jen, calm down. No, I'm about the most different thing here. . . No. . . I've found no one that dresses like me. . . Yeah, it's cool. . Yeah, miss ya too. See ya later, Jen." she said finally, promptly slamming the phone shut and playing her music again.

Christopher gave a small sigh of relief as Star promptly chose to leave the room and decided to not comment on his friend’s statement. Jeez… That would be so downright awkward for him if the girl had suddenly decided that she wanted to converse with Carlos. His friend probably would’ve unknowingly given out tons of embarrassing information about him!
“Carlos,” he hissed annoyedly as he gingerly picked up the device from the ground and promptly shut of “speaker”. “I didn’t tell you because I knew that you were going to act all dramatic and junk if you ever found out! …Besides, I’m over it. Turns out Jenny never really liked me in the first place…” he whispered out the last part quietly, doubting that his friend could’ve heard it.
“…Dude. That’s… Depressing. You know I’m just worried about you right? You’re life’s been pretty crappy right now if I do say so myself. Seriously, you found out your girlfriend was cheating on you like when? Two, three weeks ago and you say you’re cool with it? I don’t think so man. …It really must not be helping out your current problems with your family right now, right dude?”

Lily had gone outside to let out her anger. Throwing a ball against hte wall and back, she let her thoughts out, due to the fact she was alone and would only sound crazy to herself.
"Gosh, why do I sound like a complete idiot everytime I try to help someone? It's as if no one cares about real facts anymore. And she made it sound as if nerds were deadly diseases or something. Sure, let her make her stupid little assumptions; once she's out of here, she'll either work at some cheap place or cheer until her lungs are sore.
But of course, it's my fault too. I should have just kept my mouth shut, like usual. I must have the WORST friend making skills ever. Why do I try to help other people? THey don't care; they'd rather see paper balls thrown at me." She let the ball roll towards her, and sighed. "Oh well...." she picked up the tennis ball and went back upstairs, and was surprised to see her roommate on her bed listening to some sort of loud music. Lily merely nodded a "hello", still slightly angry from before (not to mention the girl wouldn't hear her anyways), ans she got out her laptop,

Sylvia smiled to the girl, obviously seeing she's angry. She pulled the headphones from her ears and turned towards her, "Hey, you okay?" she asked. Though she was a 'reject' she did kinda care about other people. She wasn't completely heartless. . she at least wanted one friend, two if possible.

Josh sat down in his dorm. His roomie hadn't put their things here yet, so he didn't even no if her had one. "Dorm A009...not popular..hmmm..." Josh murmered to himself.

Lily heard the voice, and noticed that her roommate looked worried. It must have been obvious that she was stressed. Not wanting to worry hthe girl, she smiled. "Yeah, I'm ok. Just not the best start to the school year, that's all. " she said, giving a small laugh, then realizing something. "Oh! Sorry for lack of proper introductions; I'm Lily!" she said, going over to the girl and extending her hand.

Sylvia smiled, taking the girl hand and shaking it, "Hello Lily, wonderful to meet you. I'm Sylvia, Sylvia Love. You can call me Sly if you wish. . only my friends call me that though." she said with a shrug, not knowing if her roommate wanted to be her friend. She wasn't going to force her to, but she wasn't going to push her away if she did.

As Lily shook the girl's hand, a simple thought occured to her; this girl was actually being friendly, compared to the girl from earlier, and the two people from before who simply ignored her. She paused for a moment, and smiled. "Sly sounds good to me." she answered, suddenly feeling much better. Perhaps these two roommates would have more luck than the ones down the hall, who were now arguing about a painted wall.

Diah shift in her sleep causing the book she hugs to fall to the ground with a bang. Jolted awake by the sound, she bolts up and onto her feet her hand slapping her thigh searching for the knife that wasn't there. The cobwebs of jet-lag and sleep clearing enough, she realizes where she is and what happened. And that she's not alone in the library. Blinking as a slight flush creeps up her face, she bends down to pick up the fallen book. Straightening, she tugs at the wrinkles on her sun dress, too embarrassed to look to see if the other girl had been disturbed. You're not at a dig. There is no crooks out to get some artifact mom and dad found here. Everything is ok. You're in a dress, but that's ok too. Diah thinks to herself, reassuring her mind and calming her battling urges. It was a good thing her mom had convinced her to wear the dress and put her knife in her checked luggage. Waking up ready for battle, hunting knife unsheathed as a first impression wouldn't have gone very well.

Sylvia smiled, a friend. She had called her Sly, so she obviously decided to be her friend. "Anyways, Lily, did you hear those two fighting?? Sounds like a married couple." she joked with a laugh as she leaned against her pillows with her sketch book.
