Ranu's eyed finally locked onto Storm's. They were sad and hauntingly lonely, "Because I'm not a mortal anymore. You saw what I did tho that barmaid back in Tortuga. Was not not listening when I told you of the attack?" He drew back bitterly, turning away and looking out to behind the ship, "Of cause you wasn't, silly me."

Storm raised a hand to her heart, 'accedentally' brushing it along the front of Ranu.
"Oh but the words bit deeped then swords."
Her smile turned to ash.
"Of course I was listening, you fool. Know thy enemy better then yourself and you get to live. Missing such an important thing as not being mortal anymore, is going to get you killed. Not being mortal anymore doesn't mean you will have an automantic interknowledge of the magicks."

What do you think I did at my Aunt's house, knowing what she was? I certainly didn't bake a damn pie." He sighed slightly, then added, "I left that to Emily." As he said the name, his hand tighted on the wood, then released it.

"My eternal pleasure." He replied boredly. He thought back to that ship he'd caught sight of, and glanced down to the crew who worked below him. "Crew." His voice was quite, but carried to them, "I want more speed."

Storm looked over her shoulder, wanting to know what was just so bloody interesting. She grinned, seeing the ship.
"I haven't seen Sea b***h here for years. Ah, but she's a lovely sight for sore eyes."

"..." The male looked out again. Without Storm blocking his view, he could indeed see a second sail, with a third behind that. "Looks like the HMS Yuffy wants to play too."
He looked down at his crew, the ship had noticably sped up, but not enough for Ranu. "Dream? Engine time."
Dream slid towards the back of the ship. Moments later, a mechanical noise occurred and the ship sped up further.

Storm was looking down at her feet, as if the answers could be found there.

I had a group of my pirates set fire to his ship. He clearly managed to save it and is now after me for revenge."

Storm hopped back up onto the very edge of the crow's nest. She had an oragne in hand, suddenly. She was grinning.
"So your father and another ship are off to take your head for singeing his ship? Sounds like fun."
