((Sorry for the wait. I was out eating))
Arito was not very surprised when the girl deflected his first wave. What piqued his curiosity was the asault of his own kunai with spider venom. "This might get tricky..." thought Arito.
Reaching into the ground, he merged his chakra with the earth, searching for the chemical compound he had played with for years. Realining them into a near perfect restucturing, he shaped them around his arms up the forearm, then tore them out of the earth. "Carbon Manipulation: Diamond Gautlets!"
Arito raised his armed knocking away the venom coated kunai. He looked up to see the girl sitting on a tree limb, laughing at him. "Fine then, let's see how you like this."
Arito dashed toward the tree, hand signs flashing. "Earth Style: Earth Rising!" The earth below him surged, lauching up toward the girl in a great earthen pillar. Slicing limbs out of his way, he finally came within range and leapt at the girl, adding to his momentum.
"Let's try some head-to-head, shall we?" he said, swinging his claws forward.

Seishi used his threads to deflect the mans claws and said "Tsk tsk tsk,thats no way to treat a lady"

"Hayaiko, is that you?" Kuraiyume said as his eyes peeped open. He was lying in the middle of the forest and his genin stood above him, along with some medical nin.
"Thank the gods, you're awake! You passed out after your fight with Yoruken, and we brought you back here." Hayaiko said.
The Jonin tried to sit up, but he felt a sharp pain in his chest and shoulder. He looked to see that they were bandaged up.
"Don't move. You've suffered heavy injuries, though the medical nin say you'll be alright." Chi Hana said quickly, hoping they were right.
"Don't worry, I've suffered worse," he said brightly.
"What should we do now, sensei? We don't want to leave you here alone." Hayaiko said.
"I'll be fine, and I'm not alone, the medical nin are here to take care of me. You need to continue the mission."
"But what if another ANBU member attacks us? What should we do?" Chi Hana inquired nervously.
Kuraiyume was afraid of the possibility, but for the safety of his nation, he had to take that risk. "Run. As fast as you can. Now go!"
Hayaiko and Chi Hana walked off towards the burial plains, but Taiyouhi stayed back. "Sensei, before I leave, I brought you these," he said as he dropped a pair of blood-stained battle claws next to him. Then he ran off to catch up with the others.
Kuraiyume smiled and looked at them. Then he passed out again.

"Great," thought Arito. "Now I have a rougue with excess weaponry, as well as a gentleman who can't respect a one-on-one battle."
Landing near the base of the tree the man was standing, Arito caught his breath, before turning to the tree and putting his gauntlets against it. "Thankfully, God in heaven has made all living things on this planet carbon-based lifeforms."
Forcing his chakra into the life blood of the tree, Arito began realigning the carbon structuring of the whole tree. Upon reaching the feet of the bemused ninja, Arito altered the tree's chemistry into a very brittle structure, and watched as the ninja's feet melted into what used to be a living limb.
Tired from the concentration, Arito gasped for breath then looked up and the shinobi, smiling. "Now be a good boy and stay there, and I'll come back and see what information you can give me once I'm done with the girl over there, okay?"
Arito turned, leapt toward the tree, and began to climb, heading back to the girl, hoping to be able to get a little information for the Hokage before the day was over.

He sat on the higher branch looking down at Kanna and her foe. "Ninja shouldn't use so much jutsu in one fight," he thought. "never know who's watching." he smiled "Just here for recon stay on mission, she's nothing compared to Anoi anyway." he watched as the fourth ninja stepped on the scene. "She's gonna' kill this jack-a** I know it he ruined her fun." he stared at the scene.

"Kanna. nice to meet ya." replied kanna as she flipped backwards and landed on the branch. She turned around, feeling alert, sensing that somebody else was there. 'Ni-, help me scout them out..' though kanna to her inner demon.

He was stuck. He almost laughed at genin stupidity, "moron should have let me think you didn't see me. he made a handsign "Kagegan!" the blood trait activated and he slipped into the trees shadow and around to a nearby rock. "Now lets see some more of this fight" he wispered.

((Damn Rahl, your character sure missed a hell of a fight. He would've sure liked to watch Kuraiyume fight Yoruken instead of watching the other shinobi, but he missed out. Maybe he'll die of shock if he ever passes by where Kuraiyume is resting and sees the bloodstained battleclaws next to him.))
