acarian was starting to get frustrated. "man, this chick is good!," he thought to himself. as he saw her blade going for his legs, he used his momentum to drive his blade into the wall, pushed up, and perched on it, a big grin spreading rapidly across his face in a mocking manner.

((Hum, I think it would be ok to end the class now, but I feel kind of bad because Surf_dude didn't have a chance to post...oh well, you can catch up, right? wink ))
A smile crept across Anne's face; she had every intention to keep her options open. It had been quite some time since she'd last been in love, and somehow things never seemed to run smoothly with her. Continuing to take notes, she was starting to get tired. Mr. Brown was introducing them to the basic aspects and differences between the languages, and it was hard to keep up, even to a good student like her. When he finally dismissed the class, she looked at her notebook with a sigh; she'd have to lose some time that afternoon going over all those basic principles later. The happiness she felt at the end of the class diminuished quickly as she looked at her friend; Asako still had to endure the teacher's lecture. "Do you want me to wait for me before I go to the next class, Asako?" She asked softly. Magic was her next class, she remembered, and one she was looking forward to. But she also didn't want to leave her friend alone.

Tristelle cursed quietly and looked up to Acarian, a confused expression clouded her feature. How did he get up there? She must have missed it, but his blade was stuck in the wall as well. She shot a quick glance to their other classmates, who were getting ready to go. The period was almost over. What did she have next? Magic, that was right. "Want to call it a draw?" She asked, looking back to Acarian, "It'd be an excuse for a rematch later." She added with a smile.

acarian removed his blade from the wall and changed back. "sure," he said with a goofy grin across his face. "I haven't had that much fun with a vampire in a long time," he said as old memories entered his mind. he felt sad again, a frown on his face, but quickly snapped back, hoping she didn't see it. "well, i better be getting to magic," he said sprouting wings and flying out the window before she could anwser. he flew up and sat sadly on the roof. "shela, how i miis you," he thought to himself. "well, maybe that brown-haied girl i saw through the window will be in my next class," he thought, his mood brightening up a little. he jumped off the roof and glided back into the building where he sat down next to the magic classroom and waited for the bell to ring.

Tristelle smiled and gave Acarian a small wave before he took off. Interesting, she had magic next as well. So did Rhm. She smiled as she placed the spear back on the rack on the wall. Maybe this school year wouldn't be so bad after all. She could think straight now that Acarian had left. Although he was really nice, and already knew her secret, she knew she should probably keep her distance. If she had just drank recently, and he was that tempting, she didn't dare to think what it would be like in a couple weeks. She shuddered at the thought. Through telekinesis, she could sense the sadness when he spoke of vampires. Had one already tried to hurt him? No, he wouldn't be so bold if that had been the situation. She shook her head and looked up to the clock again, cursing herself for zoning out like that. She had told Pippin and Nisa to meet her for magic, considering they were magical as well. Class had been dismissed, even though the bell hadn't rang, and she made her way with the masses towards the large double doors.
Finally making it outside, Tristelle squinted in the light and pulled her sweater on, bringing the hood up. It wasn't that the sun hurt her, it was just... Uncomfortable. In a sense. It was a shame, because she used to love the sun. She looked up, and saw Pippin and Nisa running towards her, which made her smile. Tristelle! Nisa piped, both pouting and glaring at Pippin at the same time, who was pointing and snickering at her, Pippin bit me again!
Tristelle laughed and picked Nisa up, giving her a hug. "Come on Pippin." She said, making her way towards magic class. She sighed and stared at the ground, realizing she hadn't spoken to her parents in six months. They must be worried by now... But how could she contact them? Sure, she could always write a letter, but how could she tell them what she'd become? She shook her head, forcing her to think about it later. No use in bogging down her first day of classes with such depressing information.

Rhm and Pan reached the building and noticed people really starting to come out of rooms now. "Looks like it's time for our next class," Pan said. "Yep," Rhm replied, "Any idea what we have?" "Magic. Room 101," Pan replied without hesitation. "Coooool!" Rhm said excitedly. "We don't wanna be late for that!" He rounded a corner of the building and joined the stream of students going in. "Hey look, it's Tristelle," Pan observed mildly. Rhm looked where she was indicating and saw Tristelle at the other side of the crowd, not quite in the swarm yet but getting there.
Rhm jumped and waved his arms, heedless of the crowd around him. "Hey Tristelle! Tristelle!!" he yelled. "You're holding the line up, Rhm. She's going to the same class we are. We'll see her there." "Oh yeah, she is!" he cupped his hands in Tristelle's direction. "I'll see you in class!"
And into the building he went.

acarian heard the bell. he stood up, and walked inside the classroom and sat at an empty desk. "i hope this class can help me control my powers.....or better yet, that brown haired girl will be in this class," he thought with excitement. he waited and watched as students started entering the room.

The moment Rhm saw his teacher his good mood dropped a little bit. It was the strict lady that handed out the schedules and keys yesterday. "I have a feeling this class might be harder then Divination," he thought to Pan.
The room was similar to the Divination room in that it had the semi-circle design: rows of seats around the teacher's desk and a blackboard. The difference was that this had a walkway down the center that led to a small, clean, no-nonsense looking floor area. There were a few posters on the wall with rules about Magick duels and rules. The whole effect was quite foreboding.
Rhm sat down in the third row sort of in the middle. If he was to believe the scrawl on the blackboard, the teacher's name was Mrs. Morningstar (did any teachers at this school have normal monikers?), and she was writing some things on the board even before half the students had trickled in. Rhm fidgeted in his seat, wanting the class to start soon.

Hearing her name called, Tristelle looked up to see Rhm, jumping up and down and waving. She smiled and waved back, nodded when he said he'd see her in class. She also saw Acarian entering the room. Brilliant. A huge distraction in her possibly hardest class. She sighed and made her way to the class, eager to get out of the sun.
Tristelle stepped into the room and looked around timidly. Not exactly what she had expected. Especially not the teacher, who was already rapidly scribbling words onto the blackboard. Class hadn't even started and she was already behind. She hurried in and sat down at a desk to Rhm's left. "Hey." She said quietly with a small smile, quickly pulling out her notebook and pencil. She shot Pippin and Nisa a stern look, and they simultaneously nodded. It was especially important that they didn't act up during class. She surveyed the room for Acarian, and was glad to see that he was a decent distance away. But the room was just so small, and closed up, she knew it would still be a challenge. She had almost forgot she still had her sweater on. She quickly pulled down her hood and looked to the front of the class. Mrs. Morningstar. Huh. Must be a Faerie realm thing. Last names like this would never surface in the human realm.

From her stance Kuragari jumped straight up and dropped her left leg into the human's (she dosen't know his name) head.
Jumping back from her attack Kuragari went to put her sword and armor away. 'Time for archery.' "See ya human, oh and I didn't care about sparring with you."
Kuragari headed out the door and down the hall to archery. 'I can't believe that other girl dosen't want to be a vampire. She needs to accept what she is. I mean I asked to be a vampire. Plus asking if it was human blood. Please I widh I had human blood. The feel of the blood flowing into me and there heart beating along with mine.'

((Hang on, everyone, WAIT A MINUTE. You should know by now that no one jumps ahead without my go-ahead. Aqua, I'm talking to you. Wait for me, PLEASE. A couple hours isn't so long. Take a day off or something. You guys should know the deal by now: I -or my co-mod- are the only ones who can open things, and until they are open, no one can post in them. Got it?))

((Holy crap!! I hate my life... I can't reach my computer for a few days and I'm really far behind. I'll write a post about the whole Languages of Faerie class until the end as soon as I can, just letting you all know that I haven't completely disappeared))

(( uh, does that mean me too, PromisedSword? class didn't REALLY start yet, but i'll change my last post if i have too ))
"Hey," Rhm said back to Tristelle in what was not quite a whisper and took out a crumpled notebook. The pages of it were made of a papyrus-like material, but despite its haggard appearance had never been used and would (hopefully, Rhm thought) last all year. He took out a chewed up pencil and scrawled 'Magic' on the first line of the first page. He hadn't needed it for Divination but he figured he would need it here a lot. Pan stood beside the notebook, sniffing the air for all the curious smells.
"I hope this class is fun, I was really looking forward to it," he said to Tristelle. He glanced at the teacher and said conspiratorially, "Maybe she was just in a bad mood yesterday, what with all the new students coming in."
