"Why couldn't she just stay dead for once?", came Rakkai's voice. Zik scratched his head. "Wait, I thought I made her brain-meats asplode before..." Skelegar looked up at Zik.
"That's the thing, Your Highness, she wanted us to THINK she was dead so she could destroy that potion. Why don't you use it?"
Zik started to sob.
"NO! Nothing created by Elder or Dragon could bring her back!"
He had no common sense whatsoever now, did he?
A glistening shimmer suddenly rose from Ank's body, and reformed into a golden, sparkly version of her. The spirit crossed her arms.
"Damn TOOTIN'. There's no way you could bring me back, anyway. Y'see, I had been cursed some seven hundred-odd years ago to be immune to any kind of lifesaving potion. I thought it was a dumb curse then, but, it can be a major annoyance. Like now. Mmyep, Battle Of Fa'niama was it, I think. Ah, well. Nice try, anyway."
And with that, she floated back into the body.

Lex dropped to the ground, a human. "Umm..." Was all she could think of. What with the blood and guts and now Ank was gone for good? She was confused, and would rather be rid of this mess, but once again, compassion for her friends made her stay. "So, uhh..what..now?" She asked, not sure what the answer would be.

Sigilos blew air out his nose in a violent snort, then lifter Ankaara from Zik's arms and put her on the ground, pushing him away.
*Idiots. Besides, I'm not an Elder, and I'm not a full dragon either, so you both lose. This isn't a resurrect potion, if she was all the way dead, it wouldn't work. The thing is, she's only part dead. Her soul is still around, so the potion will work. If not, I'll just remove whatever curse she has and try again.*
He pored a small amount of the potion into Ankaara's mouth, making sure all of it flowed down her throat. As soon as it was down her gullet, he began to shape some his aura into his hands, passing them over her wounds to speed up the healing process. Her wounds scabbed over, and began to mend from the magic in his paws. He crooned a soft song as he worked, the magic reacting and becoming stronger as he sang.

((OOC: Agg! You're ruining my clever plan! This RP is heavily based on a story I have forming in my mind. Anyway, I have writer's block right now, and I can't pull out a reply immediately. Finals Week has my brain numb. SO...MANY...TESTS... o_0 ))

((OOC: {Tackles Shaydra in a hug.} Welcome back Lady Silversky! You where gone so long, I was worried what had happened to you! Oh, and Bowser, I hate to say it, but even the best laid plans can go astray, and an RP is a group story, not a single persons. If you really had too, you could find a way to keep Ankaara dead, but then again, I might just find the way to bring her back. I think it depends on who is more determined. wink ))

((OOC: Okay. Let the wit-battle begin!~ But , I must say, I'm kind of like a zombie today because my mother and I went to the Jimmy Buffet concert last night in MSG, and the morons in front of us were smoking pot. We got secondhand-stoned. It's not our fault, though. sweatdrop ))
Zik glared at Sigilos darkly.
"That's not what she meant. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING can help her. And you can't remove that curse either. She told me that the wizard's spirit would come and kill anybody who tried to remove the curse. So, I suggest, if you don't want to DIE, then you should stop!"
He looked at the ground, narrowed his eyes, and whispered:
"I don't want to lose another..."

((Blargh, I'm just waiting for an RP I can post in. May the best dragon/RPer win. And Bowser Gal (as Zik), Sigilos already started healing Aankara so she'll live again whether you want to or not unless you do something fast.))

Sigilos ignored the black dragon, gently humming and singing his song. Every note that left him seemed to bring the magic around him to life, colors and shapes swirling in complex patterns.  With magic like his, wizards where of no concern. Besides, now he knew his true self, his powers where even greater then they had ever been.

"HEY! I SAID-" Zik stopped. His red eyes shaded over to a ghostly white. His eye twitched. "No! The curse! It's...coming...spirit...posessing..me...HELP!"
Zik's lime-green scales turned a diseased purple as he began to change. His normally blunt, off-white teeth turned as long and as sharp as daggers, and his claws burst out of his gloves and boots. His scales sprang up all over his body, making him look like a large, red-and-purple durian fruit that was shaped like a dragon. His normally small wings expanded to be quite large, and the new form spoke in a growling, rasping, demonic voice.
"Ah, Sir Sigilos, come to try to undo the curse, I see?" The posessed Zik gave a gravelly chuckle, and momentarily lost control as Zik's true voice broke free of the fetters of his captive body. "Sig! Stop trying to heal Ank! He'll only kill you faster!" The voice was almost instantly silenced by the evil spirit, who gave another chuckle.
"The pathetic worm speaks correctly, Sir Sigilos. It is either you stop trying to heal the other worm," He pointed to Ank, "And I go away and never bother this world with my prescence again, or you refuse to stop, and I kill you. How about that? Do we have a deal?" The posessed Zik held out a paw, the scales settling back on it.

Sigilos didn't bother to answer right away, instead ignoring the entire precedings. He kept his crooning until all of Ankaara's wounds closed, and her body began to breath again. He smiled and stood, facing the now changed Zik.
*I don't know who you are or why you care, but I suggest you go take a nice dip in a pool of fresh magma and save me the trouble.*

The posessed Zik smiled.
"You're a fiesty one, eh? I do remind you, that whenever you hurt this body, little Zik takes the wounds for me. And, by the way, I am Karna'ak, and, since you have brought that silly little worm back to life, you wil pay with yours!" He growled, and lunged at Sigilos, the great teeth shining like daggers in the light of the full moon overhead.

Lex head-butted Zik right out off the air, away for Siglos. "What the hell is going on?!" Her voice was low and hoarse as it came out of her rino form. She turned to Siglos, "What the hell...?!" she repeated.

The posessed Zik growled at Lex.
"Stay out of this, girl, if you know what's good for you!"
He performed a graceful swoop, and landed right in front of Sigilos. His sword, an evil-looking thing, popped out of the air and landed in his paw. "Come on! Draw your weapon! Fight like a dragon!"

"Unlike Sigilos, I don't care that Zik will be hurt when I fight you." Lex growled. Her eyes narrowed and flashed a sharp green and she shifted into a huge tiger creature with huge paws, long sharp claws and razor teeth. Her tail swished back and forth, "And I am not staying out of this....boy..."
