Hinote Tosatsu Annnd that's about the cutoff point you were asking about earlier. Since Oto has been closed on us though, not many places "need" anyone anymore, so you could go pretty much anywhere. Check the list in the new members forum and see which you think is needy. Eh, well then I most likely won't do anything, just keep bumming around.

With the chuunin exams coming up, i need some valuable fight experience in the Open Fighting Arena (for as of now, I have had a total of 0 fights) so is there a genin out there, who also needs fighting experience, who'd be up for a fight?

A suggestion: If the chuunin exams are going to be your first fighting experience in the RP, it's best to practice somewhere nobody else in the guild can see, such as a PM battle or another guild. It may be unlikely, but there's a chance your future opponent might read your OFA battle, and get some idea of your fighting style and so be better able to counter you.

Based on my experience around fighting in Naruto communities, one often likes learning about their opponents. Like real life in Boxing or any Combat Sports, it is similar to any competition in rp battles.
Edit: It might be metagaming in a sense, but it still involves learning about one's foe.

@Karn
If you want we can have a fight in the OFA if you just want a feel for combat, I can use Kaji and take it easy on you.

To be fair, even if i get someone to fight me, i'll have one battle under my belt, so i won't have much of a style anyway, and even so it won't be that hard to counter me if my opponent has had any fighting experience.
but, so should it be a PM fight or an OFA fight? I couldn't get a decisive opinion there.. -.-

But Doing so is Metagame, and unlikely razz Not so. Metagaming is taking knowledge of in RP info that your RPC can't possibly know and using it to your advantage. This however, would just be knowing the opponent's style and countering it through your own. If I know the other RPer has a habit of doing a lot of dodging, I'm going to put extra work into my traps to make them harder to legitimately dodge. Likewise, if I know my opponent is extremely good at grappling, I'm going to avoid getting into a grappling situation with them. Such information may only be known to the RPers, but the characters will be influenced by it. If you, knowing full well that I have a habit in RP of keeping explosive seals in my hands to blow people's limbs off, and my RPC, who is an enemy of yours, offers you a friendly handshake, are you going to accept, or find a way out of it? Option A: RP perfectly according to your RPC and accept the handshake, sacrificing your hand. Option B: Come up with a legitimate reason your RPC would decline the handshake. Option C: Just outright decline it. Option D: Come up with a way to counter the explosive before the handshake is even offered. Of course, this example is somewhat metagamey, but you get the point.

Bah, I can't decide what kind of character to make. I usually make nara-clan style ninja, without the nara clan abilities. However my last one ended up being Gara with shadows. So I'm a bit worn out with shadow ninja. Where's Savoki when I need him?
