I'd be too tempted to have him sacrifice himself in battle by opening the 8th gate...besides Lee had no talent for ninjutsu or genjutsu. Koto basically has a genetic mutation that would keep him from manipulating his chakra in such a way to begin with.

I'm a sucker for anime with a s**t ton of gore in it, but I won't read anything else....maybe a bit of highschool drama, but that's it.
If you know what Tsundere is, then you have officially figured out how Senri's character works. Only I cranked the "Tsun" up to eleven.

I just got around to watching Miriai Nikki, and found that Yuno's child hood, and Senri's were almost the same- Only in the "being locked in a cage for days when she was misbehaving" sense.
This is why she is very close to Ijimeru. She saved Senri when she was younger. Her parents were gonna leave her in there forever. 3nodding
She's a very bitter person and doesn't know how to get close to others. So given the choice she'd rather push people away because she thinks that they'd end up hating her or misunderstanding her, like her parents. Senri has given up on a normal life. She lives and breathes the shinobi lifestyle.
In my personal opinion I think being around Haruki, Koto, Sessouresu and the others will be good for her. She'll get a feel of what it's like to look at things from their perspective.
But yeah, that link is pretty much how things went down. It's similar, but different because Senri's parents were SCARED of her.

Well when I originally came up with his character I thought "What is Rock lee was an Uchiha and had never had the benefit of meeting Maito Gai" so I had intended to to have him start as a Senju from the begining with a firece and toxic hatred of the Uchiha. Having him start as an Uchiha, though, gave me a chance to develop his character and the reasons why he will grow to hate not only the harsh mentality of the Uchiha clan, but the current system in which shinobi constantly sacrifice themselve physically, mentally, and emotionally. @Vin: I want to face palm...but I want to hug you at the same time for that masterfull execution...part of me wants to buy you a slushie...but no matter what I do...you are indeed priceless *golf clap* That was the best ever thank you! heart You hear that Dragn I can't be bought... but for everything else, there's mastercard! cat_3nodding

I found the PERFECT song for when I eventually do Koto's next training post (probably for Taijutsu) or possibly when his Sharingan activates. I figure he'll be off to a rocky start at first and then find his inner strength to carry on and rise to the challenge of his rivals. He's a real survivor that way.
